We don't know that..... but what we do know is that that Dr. Bhatt,who is an advocate for studies going to completion, is the lead investigator for R-IT.....He was also the lead investigator for Cantos, which went to completion after 6 years and was successful at the completion.....In retrospect, I believe that management never really thought R-IT would be ended early and they consistently announced a very threshold for ending the study at either IA, nor did they really want that result after having been screwed at the Adcom.....They wanted a non-assailable result.
