Well if their “strategy” is to have Umidigi manufacture a version of the S2 Lite...and Utopya is branding it with its own UX/software...then that opens up a whole new DD rat hole to go down.

Does Umidigi do contract manufacturing for other smartphone providers? Because contract manufacturing is a totally different ballgame and Umidigi is selling it OWN branded product...which the supposed Utopya phone would compete with.

Why didn’t Utopya (if they really are only a software developer) do a JV or partnership to launch the phone instead of representing it as something purely theirs.

I think some inquiries and DD with Umidigi may be in order.
