I had one raise a hand at me. He was furious. Sadly, for him, he didn't take into consideration that we were in the kitchen where weapons are plentiful. He totally did not expect me to pick up the skillet I was sauteing veggies in and swing it as hard as I could. I connected with - and broke- the wrist of the hand he was about to hit me with. He's screaming, I'm laughing, and then my Great Dane came to take over guard duty until the medic unit arrived. He didn't appreciate my telling him how lucky he was that I got to him first- if it had been the dog- he'd most likely be dead.

And I wasn't even dating this dude, he just came by to visit and I did know he had a bad temper.
