More likely FDA delays are results of having tasks larger and more complicated than originally envisioned by Dr. Gottlieb. As Dr. Missling he was over-optimistic.
Possibly it is better to plan for and expect delays and be pleasantly surprised if timelines are met rather than being disappointed in the more likely outcome.
Missing seems to be doing well at managing the clinical risks, however, which is infinitely more important.
