It sure looks like the original was a fake release. The poor grammar and general lack of information in the original release should have set off a lot of alarm bells, especially with Globe Newswire.

Globe Newswire remains the bottom of the barrel news service since they have very limited distribution compared to the majors (PR Newswire and Businesswire, primarily). They are somewhat "eager" for customers, which seems to have only gotten worse in the last couple of years. They are owned by NASDAQ, but you sure wouldn't know it from their practices.

I imagine it is not that difficult to fool them into posting a fake release, as long as you pay upfront. I always find any release on their service from anyone besides a NASDAQ-listed company (as they offer big discounts for using the service, and even then not many use it) to be of questionable veracity anyway.
