Im a lawyer in The Netherlands

Well... I'm a graphic artist in the US. So with that kind of qualification, I'd guess that makes me more right! Humph.

Anyhow... if it came across that I thought a PR and an 8-k meant the same thing, I didn't mean to imply that.

I agree with this statement...

A press release does not have the same legal value as an 8K sec filing, by far! An 8K sec filing As the SEC explains it: “the types of information required to be disclosed on Form 8-K are generally considered to be ‘material,’

But in NWBO speak... and 8-k is also a way for the company to answer a single shareholder question in a few sentences and get it out to all share holders (instead of just telling one) and avoid having it disseminated widely throughout the investment and biotech world when it was really meant to reach those shareholders watching every move they make, and interpreting every 8-k, slide and PR they write in every possible light.

And yes, it would be considered a material event that would require an 8-K at the least when withdrawing from a stock exchange like Nasdaq.

And the company can also use an 8-k to clarify something that really doesn't have to be released within a 4 day minimum, something that's not particularly material, but it could become material if the answer was given to one or a few, and was not made available to everyone.

This 8-K was used to clarify that they would not be speaking at SMi.

Hardly material.

However, there was obviously some concern as to whether they were speaking there or not so the company opted to tell share holders they were not speaking there, and to provide them with a reason as to why they weren't. And the reason seems to be a good one.

But you are welcome to disagree.
