Making that kind of statement in January 2016 with a known futility rec in their pockets would be legal quicksand to stand on since Cognate, through Linda, would be in on this type of deception and be lost to lawsuits too.

The numbers we have pretty much confirm the trial is close to demonstrating absolute success. The bear argument says 60% of events (.6×348=209) happened in July 2015 and yet 233 OS events have not happened close to 2 years later even when we know that survival seldom goes beyond 11-13 months past progression. At the rate that ramp up was occurring in late 2014 and 2015 the OS difference between 209 and 233 would have been made up for in about 3/4 months. That would take us to 16/17 months from July 2015 which was November/December 2016. Still we have not reached 233 OS events as of almost May 2017. OS doesn't lie so the focus by bears stays on PFS.
