To those thinking of going long.
Let's say you are right and the next big move will be up. Let's say you are looking for an entry point. It is prudent not to commit funds until the downtrend line is broken and back tested. When a longterm trend line is broken there is almost always a back test of that line. Since the trend line is moving downward the back test will be at a lower price than the breakout. Wait for the back test to go long. The other advantage of course is that if by some chance you are wrong you will spare yourself a lot of grief.
