here are your numbers

Of course we have to take into consideration that there is an unknown based on the fact we can't know who may have sold free trade APO shares, or how many.

so we have the following knowns:

from JPHC 4623208507 shares that become paiv restricted.

~56m APOA shares that become PAIV free trade shares

~560m PAIV restricted from the APOA 10x div

so we have ~5.24b O/S with ~5.18b restricted

here is the statistics from 5-19-2006 / 5-25-2006

DATE volume
05/25/2006 224541400
05/24/2006 406496800
05/23/2006 760425800
05/22/2006 920928200
05/19/2006 645915800

you will note the total is 2958308000 shares traded in those 5 days.

a reasonable assumption is that there are...were approx 19m insider shares in that original APOA O/S, which would bring the new float down to ~37m moved over from APOA to PAIV that are free trade shares.

But just for fun, lets say the entire O/S from APO is the float...so we will use 56m.

with a 5 day total of ~2.95 billion shares traded, and an average daily trading volume of ~591 million, that is over 1000% of the entire O/S traded EACH DAY. How many of those do you think were legitimate free trade shares each day? if you say the entire O/S was traded on a daily basis, then we can say serf is wrong for sure...it would be roughly 2.67 BILLION restricted shares instead of the 2.7 BILLION restricted shares that he said. Hmmmmm.....I suppose I will need to help him with his checkbook after all.
