No we are not. It was suggested by some stupid Congressman at the last Fed hearing and the Chairwoman of the Fed said it was something they had not looked at. This is the very thing that sends markets south. You have an idiot who does not understand global economics suggesting that we should go into the red in the bond market.

Other countries have gone negative. Let me know when we do. I won't hold my breath.

At the conclusion of the last Fed meeting the consensus was that rates would be raised again.

And now we are toying with the idea of a negative fed funds rate!
