Fed funds are at what rate and the interest on student loans are at what rate?

The same comparison can be made, in varying degrees, to all consumer loans today.

And now we are toying with the idea of a negative fed funds rate! I would have to pay the bank for the privilege of holding my money while still paying the high (relative) rate on a consumer loan.

That's why I have no carried debt. It's just a very bad deal. I only have a credit card which gets paid off in full each month.

We are ALL getting hosed!
