FINRA shut down the OTCBB trading platform. They didn't delete the regulations which established or governed the OTCBB. Technically, the OTCBB designation still exists for OTC companies that are SEC registrants and current with their filings. There just isn't an OTCBB to trade them on.

So far in 2016 there have been 16 stocks added to the OTCBB. That is a pretty large number.
