Not the case. It's easy to get an account to sell on Amazon as no one else has seen the device, they almost certainly haven't either, and would never anyhow, as the product wouldn't be shipped from amazon. So there's no minimum order needed, as there would be with a retailer like BestBuy...which is one reason I doubt any retailers would choose to carry the product....at least until it proves itself.
That said, if they had an online presence and a good website, that would be best. For instance, emotiv has had good success in selling only from their store.
