That’s precisely what makes this risk more serious than ever for Neuralink.
In a niche as tiny, technical, and specific as BCI, name similarity isn’t just unlikely — it’s legally lethal.
Dismissing a legal conflict based on the assumption that “no one will act” is a textbook case of strategic negligence.
And more importantly: the ability to act doesn’t need to be public to carry legal weight.
VOIS holds registered priority over the NeuroSync name. If it enforces it — or if those rights change hands — legal precedent is fully in its favor.
By the time it’s noticed, it might be too late.
Sure, but one would be right to wonder whether there is anyone with VOIS that is capable, let alone interested in pursuing the issue.
I’m not Brent — I’m simply relaying what ChatGPT has concluded after a legal review of the case.
In a small and highly specialized niche like BCI, names like NeuroSync and Neuralink are far from coincidental — especially when NeuroSync was registered by VOIS first.
This isn’t about opinion or promotion — it’s a serious legal warning.
And this isn’t hypothetical:
In Canada, a court ruled against BYOOVIZ due to similarity with BEOVU, solely for phonetic confusion, even in separate products.
In India, Cadila v. Cadila made clear that even remotely similar names can be blocked in sensitive industries.
In the U.S., Polaroid v. Polarad established that likelihood of confusion = infringement.
And Masterpiece (Canada) confirmed that first impression of the average consumer matters more than intent.
The law is clear: legal priority doesn’t vanish just because someone stopped following the company. And in high-stakes fields like BCI, name similarity can cost millions.
Are you Brent?
Regardless, I don't follow this and haven't for years. I did start, back in the JEDM days, and never thought much of the tech or the promotions.
You're missing a key legal point. VOIS's commercial status is irrelevant when it holds prior legal use and registration of the NeuroSync name — well before Neuralink ever mentioned it.
In IP law, what matters isn’t whether a company is active, but who first used and registered the name within its class.
That principle is upheld globally under treaties like the Paris Convention and the Madrid System.
So yes — the legal risk for Neuralink is very real, and potentially worth millions.
If you have a different legal reading on this, I’d be interested to hear it.
I vaguely recall NeuraLink.....
But, given the current status of VOIS (comatose and effectively dead and gone) I doubt NL has anything to worry about, nor did they ever.
The name conflict between NeuroSync (VOIS) and Neuralink is legally real — and VOIS came first.
In a niche as specific as BCI, this isn’t coincidence — it’s a legal risk Neuralink can’t ignore.
Dismiss it now, face the consequences later. 💥
Read my last post... and see this:
I was wrong, my first posts were on the JEDM board, which later became MTEK, sometime in 2009.
A later one, from 2010. The pumpers were not happy with me, needless to say. Nor was Fouch. https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=50847066:
Spoke too soon, didn't ya? This company is poop. Fouch has never accomplished a dang thing, and isn't about to now, either, imo.
This might be my first post on a Fouch related stock board: https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=41018342
And look what it got them. .000001 means essentially worthless.
By the way, my history here goes back to his first company, JEDI, ~2012 or so when Brent Fouch was first orchestrating his big ideas. Too bad, he mostly plagiarized Emotiv. I was onto him and his scheme and my stance that he would fail proved to be quite correct.
Next to last post was mine: https://investorshub.advfn.com/Mind-Technologies-Inc-fka-MTEK-12462
JEDI had become MTEK. Fouch could see that it was a dead end, so he moved his ideas to VOIS... where they eventually died on the vine.... he never had any success or real sales.
The tech, I'd guess, is pretty much worthless

Neuralink is the future. VOIS is the present.
While Musk is still testing chips, VOIS already delivers a working BCI: NeuroSync since 2016.
🧠💥 Ticker: $VOIS – real tech, absurdly cheap.
Not yet, the problem is that today there is interest in the company's Intellectual properties, its price will change on Monday, since Mr. Musk lost a good opportunity, I imagine he must be super sorry, 😂😂

Meta (NASDAQ:META) launched a new open-weight artificial intelligence model on Monday as CEO Mark Zuckerberg called for the United States to reduce barriers facing domestic developers in order to compete more effectively with Chinese rivals. The new model, called Muse Glimmer, is considerably smaller than the flagship AI systems developed by leading competitors. Rather than […]
