let's see what Musk says at 7:30.
he's generally a straight shooter, and doesn't sugar-coat problems.

my guess is he'll outline the reasons for the earnings miss,
including issues on China front, with his plan to remedy them,
update on model X, etc...

and reaction will be a near-term sell-off
followed by renewed buying in a month or six
driven by Tesla stabilizing its footing in China and the model X nearing release.
