HDG: Let us suppose you are a data monitor. You are looking for reports of side effects like deaths, MI, strokes, angina etc. in the Vascepa arm, but none are coming in. However, reports are coming in on some of these events and people are even dropping out of the placebo arm. Would you just ignore this? This is one those cases where science and humanity part ways.
