Retailers always seek an explanation for events which in most cases may or may not be true. That is how the mind works.

I have given up looking for "causal effects" once I kept track of my record which turned out to be quite lousy.

Instead I buy because of some fundamental factors and I wait. I will also add more if the fundies don't change and the retailer crowd sells.

When I check my Fido taxable account, I was so surprised to see that after my initial slug buy last Jul at 18 or so, I was able to add another chunk at 20 in early Nov, just before the release of the first 3 P3s results. So much for "market wisdom" LOL.
