Talk a stock down and pick up cheap shares.
NPHC has come to life.
Cooler heads will prevail.I am not in DHT for a quick buck so my initial target is $5-10 range. As long as the western world is dependent on oil, tankers will be required to get it to market.
You guys better relax and take another look at the plan. The preferred shares are the sweetener. The company needs to raise money to obtain more tankers to expand the company.Rights are not warrants and have a short shelf life. The company regained its New York Stock Exchange listing, they arent going to screw that up.I see this as the means to get the share price on the way to the $15-20 range.I and many others will be all over this deal.
The Offered Shares will be sold in round lots consisting of 200 shares of common stock and one share of preferred stock. Each round lot will be sold at a price of $280, representing a purchase price of $0.70 per share of common stock and $140 per share of preferred stock. Upon the satisfaction of certain conditions and subject to adjustments described herein, each share of preferred stock will automatically be exchanged for 200 shares of common stock.
I like this stock's potential and have been in it since Jan.I can see DHT at $5 or more. But I have been puzzled by the lack of pop after it was returned to the Big Board.
The company or someone wants to keep the pps above .01. Maybe thats a good sign. All we need is volume or big news.
Eventually DRWN will explode I just hope its before I start collecting social security.
Maybe the shell has a buyer.
Darwin have a name change ?
Its going to take a few pr's for this to take off.Being a low floater a couple million in volume could push DRWN to .05 - .10 range depending on the quality of the buyer.
Tanking on low volume ?
It will be interesting to see if NMTI can recover alot of ground that was lost yesterday maybe as much as $2.
NMTI bounce.Low float.
DRWN might be worth watching. It had 1m in volume yesterday.
Something is cooking. Shares are moving up on very low volume. Maybe the r/m may finally become reality.DRWN has a low float so even 1m traded would take it to .07 or maybe higher.
I still have my shares and look forward to getting out at a good price.Eventually this will be a r/m candidate - probably for some Chinese company.
The stock has been disappointing this week.
Some very astute investors when they buy bonds of a company in BK also acquire an equity stake, sort of like doubling down.As a substantial equity holder the large investor can place their own people on the board.
The filing is posted on the WAMUQ board and should silence the skeptics.

Chapter 11 is a reorganization of the company and not a liquidation. Law suits can go on as WAMU moves ahead with its business plan.Everyone should be less focused on a huge payday. The best we can hope for is a viable company that will make money and as a result our shares will appreciate in value.
JPM could try and drive a wedge between the share classes by offering a sweet deal to all but the commons. Its clear that their goal Friday was to shake investor confidence so that they would take almost any deal. The Judge has yet to rule so until she does its still game on.
I got some at 9.
Serious overreaction here.WMI will be back in business and the stock will still trade.
So why the selloff ?
Expect there will be a trading halt if BIG news is about to be announced.
IMO if the judge rules against JPM with regard to the $4b,a settlement will follow. If the judge rules for JPM they will hang tough. JPM has had plenty of time to settle and they havent and wont until their backs are against the wall.Any settlement will have to include the class action suit as well I would think.
WAMKQ is up over 9%.
Always take what the market gives you. EOD we are down 11% from the open, but in the AM we could just easily start at $1 and could see another replay of today both on Wed and Thurs.Friday people will be sitting tight waiting for word.
I sold at .70 and bought twice as much at .35. Playing WAMUQ like a cello.
So what bearing does the Texas case have for us ?
Lunchtime selloff, good old fashioned profit taking or bad news ahead take your pick.:]
You might not be able to get back in.
The action is with the commons the preferreds are not seeing alot of action WAMPQ up almost 6% and 2% for WAMKQ.Correction WAMPQ doing quite well, must be the $1000 face value.
This is alot different than HESG.The real issue is will there be a settlement and how much ? The trading pattern indicates that the smart money is betting on a settlement. The pps right now isnt really important - except to the flippers.
What a great start to the day up almost 30%.!!
It does add value to the company which in turn will be reflected by the pps.The payoff comes when the settlement is announced. I wouldnt be surprised to see a JPM stock swap for the preferreds and cash for the commons.
Probably $2 - 2.50 if the judge gives the company the $4b.Settlement will be nuts.
I bought some K's Friday but I dont plan on selling my commons anytime soon - if I did I would buy P's with a face of $1000 each.
Yes I had trouble logging in and still dont have stock ticker up.
JPM using their stock to buy WAMUQ shares would be a serious dilution of JPM shares, there are something like 1.7b shares of WAMUQ plus 26m preferred shares. For JPM this has to be a cash deal.
