Elder. LOL! I sure wish I was. I think that in talking with Matt he has a great concept here. Even though the chairman can delete posts and some don't like that feature they do eventually look at the deleted posts. And he says 97% stay deleted. So self management is working. I think knowing you can come here and not have to go through the garbage makes it stress free. Which is very important in this market! LOL

Below is a C & P from I-hub administration. The month of April they are going to be not only speeding this place up but from earliar conversations with Matt adding more features. So I encourage you to post your serious DD here. This site will be the premier site to be. Live quotes coming soon. I mean real shortly!

Goodmorning everyone! Check this list out. Looks good to me.
F-I-R-E
Here is the final list of the most popular reforms that you and the rest of our F-I-R-E membership choose to be submitted to the SEC. You'll find this posted on the MMManip board on Raging Bull, and I suggest that we all post it where we feel it would be welcomed. We
need to continue to make the public aware of the abuses that have been going on, what the corrections should be, and how to enact them.
There's a radio show on WWRL 1600 AM out of NJ that is addressing these issues honestly. The show is called the "Harvey Houtkin Show" and can be heard over the internet by going to radiofreewallstreet.com. Here is
a link to a recent article about Harvey and his show. Please listen to the show, it's the only honest
reporting of the markets on the air today. Let's show our support.

1) Implement Congress' 1975 central marketplace mandate.
2) Substantially stiffen penalties for not adhering to the rules/regulations proportionate to the infraction and relative to the economic size of the offender.
3) Prominent display on SEC Web site of all enforcement actions against all individuals and firms.
4) Make all trading rules of the Nasdaq apply to the OTCBB.
5) Physical stock certificate must be made available upon request within (5) working days.
6) Uptick rule for everyone.
7) Mandate electronic linkage between all markets/exchanges.
8) Mandate price/time priority.
9) Mandate a reasonable time period in which companies must notify the SEC of any upcoming material news releases. This must go to the SEC Web site prior to anywhere else.
10) Enact a (5) minute trading halt on the stock of a company for any material news release.
11) Restrict for 12 months after leaving office all SEC officials from gaining employment with anyone for whom the SEC is responsible for regulating.
12) Mandate realtime reporting of all trades/sales of issues, including short sales and all filings of reportable company financing (reg "s", 144's, etc.).
13) Fees for the raising of capital should be reduced for small companies so as not to make it onerous.
14) Promote the use of "dutch auctions" for the distribution of IPOs.
15) Make paper prospectuses optional.
16) Eliminate and make illegal payment for order flow and all "soft dollar" arrangements.
Our membership grows ever day. Together, we will effect the necessary changes. As always, I wish everyone good luck in their investments.

Hi Poorboy. I'm with you on that. Can't we find a bottom to this market?
Here is the Trade Reporting Rules, Complaints phone number.

Those of you with more knowledge then me I'd sure appreciate you calling and asking about the day when we had all that volume and buys with a .50 move and ask for an explanation. Lets make them accountable! If we got them to look at our stock trading enough it might help us down the road as I'm sure we will be hit by every illegal trading game out there as our story unfolds. I know there is some brokers and ex-brokers that read this board. I want all of you to please call. You are the ones who speak the language. Us rookies wouldn't receive the respect or service this matter deserves. Please take this plea into consideration. Thank You!

William. You said......But in the final analysis why should we care what "non Christians" think or believe.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding you on this statement. But according to my Bible we are to go out into all the world and teach them the good news. So I do care about what the non-believer believes.
It looks like you have had a rough time of it. Sorry to hear that. I can tell you this. When I went south for 16 years my parents got on their knees everyday pleading with God for me to come back home to his arms. Well to make a long story short I'm back home to my Faithful Father! So please keep on praying and believing. God works in wonderful ways.

“Where is it? It must be here somewhere.” James frantically ripped through the piles of old boxes, bottles, and tools scattered throughout his garage, finally spotting his prize. An old, tattered sleeping bag stared at him from the corner. He stared wearily at it for a moment. He had always known to hold onto this old bag for some reason. Crazy, he thought, that it was for this. He remembered his first camping trip was spent in this bag, along with many subsequent trips, sleep-outs in the back yard, that trip to California…
Quickly grabbing the torn, old bag he stumbled back through the garage, tripping over a loose whiskey bottle. A grunt and a curse later he was finally back in the house. A spacious front room greeted him, dominated by a large A-frame picture widow overlooking a green lawn and surrounded by forest. Not too far in the distance, a mirror blue lake reflected back its brilliance.
James paid no mind to his luxurious surroundings as he unrolled the sleeping bag. Placing it directly in middle of the living room, he grabbed a Colt .45 and a fresh bottle of whiskey from a nearby table. Climbing down into the bag, he zipped it up tight leaving his shoulders free. From his breast pocket he pulled a letter free and pulling long on the whiskey bottle, he reviewed its contents one last time.
Janey,
Gotta go love. So tired…Just want to rest.
So sorry for all this. You were a good woman, better than I deserved.
I’m just so tired… tired of everything. Tired of the business, tired of the rat race, tired of the guilty feeling, tired of how I keep treating you, tired of feeling lost,
So tired…
James
P.S. Sorry about the carpet…
He carefully placed the letter under the lip of the bag and grasped the gun. Bottle of whiskey in the other hand, he lay there for some time thinking of how useless his life had been. High priced attorney, member of the country club, world traveler, he ticked them off in his mind.
Worthless, useless, and meaningless.
He had done and seen everything that everyone said held the promise of life. It was all empty. Life, he concluded was just a momentary blip surrounded by permanent futility. All was for naught…
Slowly, through his alcoholic haze, James drifted off, suicide just a trigger pull a way. He thought about life and death, what it all meant. His thoughts turned to God and his brother in law. Always preaching God, John was, yet James saw how he treated his kids and wife. He had to have a word with him after the last time his sister had “fallen down”. James threatened to have him arrested, all the while listening to John claim he was a Deacon in the church and how “dare” a pagan such as James accuse him of such things. Whatever. James knew abuse when he saw it.
Then there was Howard Peterson who was always preaching Jesus but couldn’t keep his hands off the office girls. Now there was a man who knew the meaning of the term, ‘roving hands are working hands.’
If there truly was a God, and these were the only followers he could get, he must be some sorry kind of God.
He had attended church once or twice over the years. The sappy worship leader and the lady dancing in the front row had just been a bit much, and by the time the pastor had gotten up and prayed for everyone to ‘dig deep’ for the morning offering, James had been ready to leave.
He thought about all his money, of how much it ultimately did not matter. It was the part that probably bothered him the most. All his life, this had been his pursuit. The ultimate drive for him. Success…power and now that he had it… It really didn’t make any difference at all. And now that he thought about it… neither did anything else…
The shot rang out. It’s finality clear, its message permanent.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Who are we, us Christians? Do we go through life ‘acting’ the part? Or is it real? Is there truth in the inmost parts? All around us, people watch. Ask the children who’s mother teaches Sunday School down at the local church. Ask them what she is really like when no one else is around. Ask the wife of the deacon who stands at the door, have her tell you what her husband does when the door is closed.
Ask Jesus if your life holds truth.
It matters.
It means life and death.
Life to you spirit.
Death to your flesh.
And all about you they live and they watch…hoping just maybe…
Just maybe it’s real...
The world is literally dying to know….

Subject: Homeschooling. Caught the tail end of Dobsons show on the way to work. It was about homeschooling. Thought it would be good to hear others thoughts. here's my story. My kids go to public schools. We have thought about homeschooling. But we decided we are going to plant the seed of God in them as good as we can and let God do the rest. There has been many times I have wondered if we have done the right thing. I have a 6 year old boy and a 8 year old girl who by the way thinks she's 13 already. LOL! You all know what goes on in public schools so I won't go into that. I kind of wish they were half homeschooled and the other part of the day public school. Anyways here is an interesting comment made by my cousin at a family gathering and this subject came up. His mom is a teacher. He said what if the majority of Christains take their kids out of public schools and homeschool them or place them into private schools? what is going to happen if the trend continues that way? here is the zinger. he said who is going to witness and represent God in the public schools if all the Christains are gone? I've never forgot what he said. Thoughts?

I dont doubt it. It has now become a tool for
the people who short and want to drive the price
down. Its not the country club any more. If RB does
not clean up it act I think it will be dead soon.
Its ashamed that it had to happen. When I first got
here an basher once in a while was funny. Now that
I have learned more and use the ignore button often
it is sad to see that there are 60 posts and when I open
the list I can only see 4 posts. Now I find I must pull
my punches because the bashers will all toss me if I
go after them. The balance of power has shifted so
why post here anymore? RB is their own down fall.
Clean up the boards and dont subject real posters to
the hassels of having to defend themselvs from basher
tosses and it might just make it. Otherwise good riddens.

Deeba. It is my opinion that the 3D portion of the company will be spun off into a seperate company that Ray will run. I believe Rays heart is in 3D-movies after he brings us to a certain point in this venture. I don't know that for sure. But I sure want to see the 3D and movies continue. But in a seperate company. I can't see us having anything at all to do with anything but the technology once the PR firm announces to the world who we are and what we consist of. Perception on wallstreet is very critical of that. Hey I may be all wrong. LOL! But that is what makes sense to me.
Excel - Greg
Rob. As has been mentioned by a few people in conversations with John someday we will wake up to a new company someday. And I believe you are right in saying the name will be changed. And yes the new PR company when they start will be a welcome releif for us and John. I imagine it is wearing thin at his end also.
Excel - Greg
Ron. If you are asking about news he said that on Monday that we are close to news. But the word close can mean many things. Close to John who knows what is going on compared to me who doesn't can mean John knows that there are only a few things left that need to be done before release of news. So to him we are much closer to news being released compared to when he knew there were many things to be done before release of news. To me the word close means where's the PR? LOL! Need to leave for awhile. If that wasn't your question I'll try to answer it later.
Excel - Greg
Sonic1. Remember my thoughts in last post are reading between the lines. I have heard from others that when you retain a PR company there is a certain amount of time involved between them and the company that goes by as they research everything that they didn't research before excepting the company as a client. So not being on the inside I just don't have a clue. John told me we are very close to news. Now what is the meaning of close? I don't know. But I do feel that those that have hung in there will very shortly see why it has taken so long.
Excel - Greg
Tantra. I talked to John on Monday expressing the same type of frustration with news. I was expecting more in the filing. Because one of our past conversations about a week or so before Monday was he thought they'd be releasing news in the filing. Now here is how I see the situation. At the time of the conversation about a week ago they were still in the process of narrowing the PR companies down to the one. In our conversation on Monday I felt the PR company is a done deal. Reason I get that feeling is because of what he told me next. He told me the PR company would be orchastating the news. So in that short time of a week or so strategy has changed due to in my opinion the finalizing of PR firm. I hope that makes sense.

Three preachers sat discussing the best positions for prayer while a telephone repairman worked nearby.
"Kneeling is definitely best," claimed one.
"No," another contended. "I get the best results standing with my hands outstretched to Heaven."
"You're both wrong," the third insisted. "The most effective prayer position is lying prostrate, face down on the floor."
The repairman could contain himself no longer. "Hey, fellas, " he interrupted, "the best prayin' I ever did was hangin' upside down from a telephone pole."

Hi everyone. I sent John Howell an email this morning asking him how confident he was the beta testing would be successful. I have copied my message and his reply below.
Sent: Monday, March 12, 2001 4:30 AM
To: John Howell
Subject: Beta Testing
John
What level of confidence do you have that the New Wheel Technology will successfully pass the beta testing in the field? Are you 100% confident, 99%, 80%, 50%, 10%, or what would you pick as your level of confidence? I am sure the engineers at New Wheel have tested everything they think can be tested in the lab to assure a successful beta test. I frankly would not expect to company to submit anything for beta testing unless there was a very high level of confidence because failure of the beta test would really set the company back and crush the confidence of potential partners and shareholders. So, I would like to know what your level of confidence is in the technology successfully passing a beta test.
When would you think the technology will be beta tested?
Thanks and have a great day.
God Bless
John's reply
Ron,
We are 100 % confident that field testing will yield positive results. Isolating variables is what scientific testing is all about. Some of what will be determined are the outer limits of speed and distance. It really is not a matter of whether it will pass or not, but rather how much it exceeds current technology. An enviable position don't you think?
John

Grandy. You made a good point. And you're probably right. I didn't phrase that well did I? LOL! No Jack didn't own it. To much sanding today. I was hoping we just had better lawyers! I think your thoughts are right in line with reality. Maybe Jack is a smart guy. LOL!
Excel - Greg
Hitimer. I agree with you I was also disapointed to not see more. I do believe that we are very close to news. This silence from management means to me that someone has advised them at this time the strategy calls for silence due to competition. I'm very surprised that Jack accepted the amount he did. We must have some good attorneys. Reason I say that is this. If I was in Jacks shoes I'd realize NV must be close to forming an alliance. Now that would tell me if I was Jack I'd be in the drivers seat negotiating this situation. Because who in their right mind would form an alliance with someone when there is a legal question regarding ownership of technology. So as far as the future goes this was a big score. But to be honest I was hoping for more. The last yearly filing did spoil us as you said. Was hoping to see what they have been up to during the last few months. I'd say an all expense paid trip must mean something good. And I'd say we will shortly see the benefits of that trip.

MaryKay. No No No! Don't do it! No mention of that other company. LOL!
Remember when NVXE became a reporting company? They filed in the last hour before getting the dreaded E. Oh that was close. I was sitting on the edge of my seat. Praying. LOL!

MaryKay. I agree it was VERY significant to settle the lawsuit. I'm actually surprised he didn't get more. We must have some good attorneys. Reason being if I was in Jacks shoes I'd be looking at where NV is in this process of bringing the tech to market. I'd be saying to myself I'm in control. Who in their right mind would form an alliance with someone who has this hanging over their head? The ownership of the technology would be in question. So yes very significant!

Besides getting rid of Jack which is something that had to happen in order to form an alliance with someone. Where's the good news? I did a quick scan. Anything I'm missing?

From another board. Interesting comments.
RE: Market Opinion........
I sure can't tell the future. Who can? Not me! But I can tell you what I've been doing. I went back to the summer and fall of 1998 (Aug.-Nov.) and read hundreds of posts on various yahoo boards to see how people were reacting to the markets and their board comments during that time. Many Greenspan comments back then as well. All stating Allen Greenspan has way too much control over the stockmarket and he manipulated things back then to go down, as well. Many Many Doom and Gloom posts during those months as well. "Wont recover for years, everything, even blue chips being hit hard, etc...end of world...". Read some of the stuff, it's interesting.
In November of 1999, when he started raising rates in succession....the market kept going up...1 month, 2,3,4, and then month 5 it hit a High and then something happened all of a sudden. The real drop started. It was somewhat drastic too. Look at the chart.
My question is.....what happened in March of 2000 to make that initial huge drop occur. What was the factor that caused it??? Was it disappointing earnings? Was it unemployment or inflation? Was it the economy? Was it the bursting of the internet bubble? If it was the inital burst of the internet bubble, why did it start then? What happened in March that made things turn to the downside like they did??? Something must have happened??? Things don't happen for no reason.
Now, it's March 2001, soon to be April. People are comparing this ecomomy to 1929 Dow depression where it will take 20-25 years to recover. Many are saying the same thing will occur here and it will take decades to recover.
My question is this.....is our underlying economy in that bad a shape? Are we officially in a recession yet? Are things more similar now, in our nation and globally to 1929 or 1998..??? What about the sheer number of people involved in our economy Now to 1929. That was 72 years ago. There was No technology. There was no global communication. There were no millions of investors involved back then.
Right now, $3.8 Trillion is sitting on the sidelines in the moneymarket at bond funds. Fidelity Investments put 70% of the $25 billion it received last month (Feb.) alone in the money market. An all time high. By the way, Fidelity Investments was a Huge cause for the stockmarkets decline. The took billions out of the Market in 2000 and this same money will come back in soon. I am a Long Time Fidelity Customer and I have my own Personal Advisor.
Here is what I am trying to say. What took a generation to occur back in the 1920's, will only take a year to occur Now. The market cannot reach a bottom until everyone is Pessimistic about the future. OK, I'll say I'm pessimistic just for the sake of conformity, but in the back of my mind I know the truth. Techology is the future. If it's not, what is..?? Greenspan has more power than you think. The Federal Government could support the market if it was so inclined or halt trading all together. These guys have got power. Probably more than I know. I'm speaking of Financial Power. But the thing is, "They work for you and me"!!!
That is why I have let my congressman and the news media know how I feel about what's going on and the blatant manipulation of the market by the Federal Reserve. Interest Rates are DIRECTLY related to Everything that moves the markets to rally or sell off. Don't ever think any different.
Since it took 5 months for the rate hikes to show up in the market in 1999 and 2000. I say the same will occur in 2001.....meaning May or June. I will be accumulating my favorite stocks for the next couple of months and sending money in bit by bit to my Fidelity account. I wont look for a recovery in 20 years. I'll look for it in 20 weeks.
This is all just my opinion, based on reading many many articles and board postings of the past.
Hope that helps.
