Maybe I'm misunderstanding you on this statement. But according to my Bible we are to go out into all the world and teach them the good news. So I do care about what the non-believer believes.

It looks like you have had a rough time of it. Sorry to hear that. I can tell you this. When I went south for 16 years my parents got on their knees everyday pleading with God for me to come back home to his arms. Well to make a long story short I'm back home to my Faithful Father! So please keep on praying and believing. God works in wonderful ways.
