problem update
SC seemed to have tweaked a bit
and then problem solved on my side of hardware-software
and
bottom line, no more red-x and garbage pages
It was a relief I tell you
I did few thing among of which I doubled my mem which was sufficient as it was. Wasted a lot of time wading through the net for info. It was quite frustrating to see any other site OK except stockcharts. Last thing I did was playing with the firewalls which apparently had a conflict (but just for stockcharts?????)
I assure you I did not delete/add stockcharts. It just started working.
Or maybe it was coincidental and in fact they stockcharts just finished their installations while I was "troubleshooting" my PC?
I am happy for stockcharts nightmare to be finished.
I have lost quite a bunch of trades because of this/them.
site of Microsoft in regard to red-x
(was not relevant for me as I had everything in good order)
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/283807#appliesto
No_3, how can you in same breath say "bars not showing up" and at the same time ask if "are prices shown reliable" ?
Something has to give
fwiw I am glad to say I can see my charts OK
If you see improvement and/or discover the problem please post an update
UPDATE of problems
Upon just recently changing trading platform (forced to) I have come across few hurdles.
This made me fight many things. This also made me realize more stuff happening.
Conclusion :
1) stockcharts WAS guilty of my charts not showing ! (unchanged conclusion)
(when stockcharts gave me problems I still had my old platform)
They did cut my data channel in 1-2 sec, which seems to be fixed now.
They are also guilty of ignoring and not responding to my e-mails toward "support". Worst customer service in the world you can find.
2) SC page looking weird (except for chart itself) has high odds of being caused also by interference of too big flood of data coming at once thus creating a bottleneck in pc thus wrong appearance between other things.
During troubleshooting the platform I did 2 things that either one had a marked effect on SC. a) in task manager I gave my platform a sub-normal priority (just ignore the windows warning blah blah popping up). This placed the flood of data behind any other in line, thus when I refreshed a page of SC I noticed a marked increase in both quality and speed. b) I came across what is the main cause of the flood of data and how to stop it. This also had a marked effect on SC page but less than prior point.
The main flood effect comes from window java with many many streaming symbols (20-30, especially if active). So I made some tabs (windows) with less symbols, and even one blank where I "park" it after checking around.
I still do not know if the flood of data affects/strains the memory/cache or the CPU capacity. Maybe someone knows this better as I'd like to fix this if I may. The CPU at 3 gig with just the static MS wordprocessor and static SC charts and streaming platform looks strained under flood, while MEM at 1.3gig looks available.
I gave back the platform normal priority as I think I need to be it like that, but I took away the flood as explained above.
I hope this may help others with their issues.
UPDATE
stockcharts seems to be working acceptable for day 3 now. Yesterday and today I was able to watch/use throughout the day.
I was scared for it to not go bad again as I got used to it to be bad and unreliable.
Another problem improvement is that the break down of buttons around, and page generally stopped.
I got "page not found" like twice but upon refresh it went away (about this one I'm not exactly sure if this would be caused by them as I'm about the other failures).
The waiting time from stockcharts remained in place, THANK GOODNESS, so stockcharts site did NOT drop the data feed.
The site did not break like in the past when the day advanced.
stockcharts problem update
Yesterday it was working acceptable.
It tended to break down as buttons around, page in general was looking bad sometimes, but with begging (more clicks) in some circumstances it did show the charts.
I also noticed an increase in waiting time from stockcharts. YESTERDAY stockcharts site did NOT drop the data feed after 1 (ONE) second as they typically did so far.
I noticed the channel of connection remaining ON and waiting as in the past (good ole times), and in FEW more seconds the charts did show. The waiting and not dropping the connection is the critical element from stockcharts, an utter unattended failure until yesterday.
It shall be noted though that I did NOT use the service all trading day as I needed to go out, so I have no idea what happened later in the day.
I am so deeply dissatisfied by horrible service to me for the past week that I do not feel being happy in any way until this stinky is evidently gone and charts are steady again.
Generally speaking the charts tend to be steadier and load in the morning and worsen as the day progresses to total break down near close (even 1-2 hour before close), and then working again after the close.
It horrible looked overall like an evil concerted sabotage and gross incompetence
Quasi,Golferette, first I want to say I appreciate what you are doing.
In a way we are together in this - charts, PC troubleshooting, stockcharts(...).
I believe Golferette correctly understood what the problem is.
"from I can garner there was a TIMER ISSUE. i.e. if something takes too long to download the sender's download stops"
That's precisely what I am blaming as well.
The only difference is that I blame this squarely on stockcharts and not on my ISP.
1) - ONLY stockcharts is the site that cut my data off. Any other place/site would wait quite a bit, even around ONE MINUTE if need be before line is dropped. Cause of waiting is all the time them (the site) or rarely IE browser get stuck which I notice and close it and open a fresh one with problem gone in a second.
2) - my line is dedicated and fast! No way I make a site waiting. I can not be cut off from stockcharts data output because "waiting" was exceeded. NO WAY! As a matter of fact my data from stockcharts is cut off in about 1 (ONE) second !
So yes he is right IMO for data being cut off, but the twist is that it is not because ISP but it is because of stockcharts.
When it was Thanksgiving and only Canadian market was opened the charts were perfect all day. No cut off of data at all !!!
Next day when US markets opened they started cutting me off again !
There is no doubt the facts support the "theory" above !
-------------
In regard to dead's comments about java:
I have the common working version.
I tried out others. No deal. All the programs I have including stockcharts work best in this version. It can carry out multiple java programs opened at same time without any problems. Sorry, but another dead end.
-------------
There were instances where others complained while my charts showed. I think now I am the one let down by stockcharts.
I think the only time you will believe it is the stockcharts's blame is when your own charts won't show while having no other problems around (sites, pc, ISP, all OK).
So far I seem to be the only one posting about this problem.
And so far stockcharts "support" did not reply to ANY of my e-mails! Typical of them. But this time is different. Now they first let me down and then refuse to answer to any request for help.
Total darkness.
Now that is evil of them.
charts down !!!!! GARBAGE
I hate them
not all charts are down
the simple ones do show albeit also with begging (more clicks)
I guess the free charts and the cheap accounts have no problem
maybe I should take a hint
IMO automatic refresh is not worth much
I only tried it a bit to check it out but sorry to say that I find it useless for most part.
Let them give us options for stream chart for intraday. THAT is something worth of lauding. THAT would be a serious step.
But as you can see red-x shows in many circumstances.
Basically the data stops being given to you (by stockcharts) and your pc being left down in the dark , for lack of choice replaces the graphics with an icon (red-x).
Yesterday the charts worked perfectly !
Today so far is same !
I hope they finally let me have the charts I'm paying !
Let's knock on wood.
Happy Thanksgiving
problem update
the charts before disappear - the page has all buttons/things around looking weird (color/size/shape/even words) or some even not showing. After a while charts will go down.
It happened today as I was writing the first post which pissed me off.
The charts disappeared completely a while ago.
I went to another computer immediately and tried this page and charts showed and I cursed (take a guess what).
Then I came back immediately to this comp to see what's going on (ready to blame myself this time around).
Guess what the charts were working.
They started working in the time I left the room to go to the other pc.
I will try with another PC in same room next time although I hope stockcharts leave me alone to have charts and do this to others for a change.
I am really pissed off at stockcharts
I can't make ST decisions on stocks this way.
Not fair
Quasi and Dead, interesting discussion.
Maybe you should ask stockcharts to dust their hardware as well. I'm sure it may help. We have no idea what they are doing.
Let me tell you one basic thing about human relationship. I should teach you something as well in return.
In basic relationship there are 2 ways.
1) You can approach a person in a normal way. In this normal way you treat the person with benefit of doubt. You regard the person as trusty, intelligent, good. UNTIL PROVEN otherwise, at which point you withdraw the credit for that particular thing.
2) You can approach a person in a COP (police, ward) way. In this cop way you suspect the hell out of everybody. You treat the person with suspicion that he/she may be a potential criminal. You do not give benefit of doubt. You regard the person as not trusty, likely stupid, no good two-left hand person, highly likely to be the cause of any of the problem around. UNTIL PROVEN otherwise, at which point you RELUCTANTLY still withdraw a bit of the suspicion and start to give credit for that particular thing, but ONLY BECAUSE FORCED by evidence.
One of the things in life I find is that the people tend to be COPs when it comes between institutions and individuals. This is silly and all too often proven wrong just because in institutions work also people which can be just as bad as Joe can.
Here in our debate this is another poster example of that.
You have no way to know if it is right to treat me with suspicion or stockcharts. Yet I, the individual am the one being placed under suspicion (of being wrong, ignorant, at fault and so on) and not given any credit, all the while stockcharts WHICH WAS PROVEN guilty so many times is given the benefit of the doubt. Case closed.
I am sure you guys were treated like incompetent monkeys by "superior human beings" when you approached as an individual many times before. You can see you do the same mistake.
As for me now I have to work more on dismissing the suspicion on me as no one yet believes it is the stockcharts guilty just because I can not prove it yet and they don't admit to it (rarely they did and you know it!)
I regularly open the PC and vacuum dust.
I can hear if vent stops.
I can hear if it overheats as a 2nd fan kicks in and at a higher speed.
I can see if it's overheating from a temperature window.
I watch temperature regularly.
I watch programs working in my pc regularly (on watch for hacks).
I monitor as much as I can.
My protection software is updated few times a day and is from my trusty i-provider company which they do a good job in keep me happy payer!
I have router
I have a good router not a cheap one
I have straight access
I am the only one working on this pc
(did I leave anything out?)
Lastly , I pay real time and while the charts do work, for the most part of morning I got delayed time...
I doubt that was because the dust , my pc, or me being the bad ignorant one.
One thing about me is that my charts usually work fine, but I did pay attention to facts and because facts pointed to stockcharts painfully too many times , when someone complains about charts , no matter how good in my side may be at the time I tend to believe that individual. AND IT HAPPENED!
The person may be at fault but my experience taught me that the odds are stacked that the stockcharts is at fault.
AND IT HAPPENED!
My internet provider is one of the most trusty. When I have a problem in that area I myself then place the cop attitude on myself and my hardware because I do not dismiss their reputation.
Speaking for myself I always take in account available reputation and history of parties because I hate to end up being in a situation of an unfair bad cop.
---------
When it comes between 2 regular individuals, people tend to treat each other the normal way, compassionate and giving a lot of credit until proven otherwise.
This is the base for most of the problems and crockery going on between people as this undeserved trust is being abused (logic says rightfully so).
---------
FWIW I always look first in my side of things to see what could be wrong before even post in here. I'm positive Stockcharts (or any other institution) will not do same, they will not first look in their side but will first try to make me look like a fool and mess my own pc.
If I can't have a perfect world I wish we should have a good one.
Quasi, your chart loaded and fast now
both present and past
also my own load and pretty fast
when problem comes nothing works no matter how simple and small the chart is
even the 4 small charts with no indicators of this board would not come up but stay red-X
So size is not the problem, indicators are not the problem.
It seems to be what I said it was just that I can not prove it.
Point 1) I did (contact "support"). Probably they helped me because it only got solved after I contacted them today. I assume they broke the thing again later near close by doing whatever they are doing.
Point 2) I did (loaded your charts). It works (when it works).
Point 3) Did not do yet since a) I know it is NOT my PC, b) problem stopped , c) I'm afraid the other computers may have all kind of spyware since family run around the net (although I have decent anti-spywhare and such on all), d) wanted to try a different PC while the problem exists (but I wish it never returns)
Point 4) I had the net company working around few days back but no other net problem but StockCharts? Impossible to be them the net company. They did let me down for about 2 hours few days back but ALL the net was down at the time, NOT sellective. It is an all-or-none thing.
I will try posting a chart if God forbid it goes down again but like I said NO CHART of ANY KIND or SIZE loaded at such time thus it would be useless IMO to do so.
I think it is them stockcharts and I hope they let me have the charts I'm paing for.
Not trying to be mean but in a way I would like you to experience this for a little while and me to have the charts. Just to be able to corner this thing.
Let's hope nothing else bad happens.
I'm sure they might have some technical issues especially now but they are usually tight about letting us know.
back to working :^o
Charts show again
I lost trade because this up-down-up-down-up-down !!!
it is frustrating
back to NOT working :^(
back to charts NOT showing
all the while I did nothing
nothing different
Quasi, thanks for offering and help
Brother , friend (that you can call that) is probably the only exception when you can trust passwords and access to sensitive places.
As you understand is against policy to give away access to your account to others.
It doesn't mean you can not be a good person well intended, it's just that there is no way for no one to know who to trust on what.
I definitely can be trusted with this sort of things but there is no way you can tell that.
So we follow guidelines and policy to stay out of trouble.
Better safe than sorry.
I am appreciative for your help and suggestions.
I can not yet go to a place near by that has internet until near close (I do have few other PCs in the house but want a totally different place and PC). I looked into my settings and did not see problems (I use IE6).
As of now the charts came back and fully working.
Draw your own conclusions.
They are working and I'm thankful for that and don't want to think any further of this horrible thing however tempting it may be.
Let's cross fingers.
I hope stockcharts announce something technical on the site and hopefully also something along "all clear and good from now on as all is installed and working properly".
Quasi, I have a good pc, no need to change
really
sure I can buy another pc and so do you for an upgrade but that doesn't mean I will gain a needed power for this.
I have strong pc with over 1gig mem, using XP
I use nothing other than 1 antivirus, 1 word processing, trading platform, and the stockcharts (which TYPICALLY makes problems!)
I have dedicated high speed connection.
For what is worth I did and can open and use way and above these tasks in a window 95 OS, with a generation 1 PC with ...60meg mem !!!
.... and even with dial-up connection!
I just threw that in the garage long time now.
I think in light of the above you will agree that there's no way I you or Joe have any need for any other PC new or otherwise.
I have to look into your suggestion of trying to open in other PCs in other places however silly it may seem.
Why silly - because prior to market open the charts worked fine !
In light of this I put blame squarely on stockcharts side.
In past some customers were screwed while others had no problems accessing charts. It may explain why you can have the charts while I can not.
I suspect it is my turn to be in the group of customers getting screwed.
Maybe it is a tactic to not have all alienated at same time.
No , your chart does not show. I can not even see settings which it appears of having none set. My charts show the settings but red-X.
Prior to open of market it was working satisfactory.
I'm not trying to push blame on stockcharts but evidence is stacked against them along with a insensitive incompetent non-responsive "support".
I put 'check for newer version of stored pages' on auto and it seems to help a little but I have a hunch it is not it.
Now I see an error on top of charts, even in member area in the middle while page is displayed more or less.

stockcharts do acknowledge in their last newsletter on Nov 16 they progress in work on the site !
Cush, I need to click numerous times on red-Xes to make chart show in lists
If would be my comp I don't even know where to look for such problem
It seems that the waiting-for-chart status is cut short
either from stockcharts or elsewhere
this causes the page (chart list) to be phased into as 'downloaded' status almost asap and comp stops waiting for more elements to fill up the page (charts)
it started hapenning today later in the day
I have like 8 charts in a given list
It is frustrating to have to click each one like 10-20 times before either it shows or I give up in frustration and try later
charts down ?
I hope it's because they work on the system
and not because the regular let-down
Deadb440 & Quasi, problem seems to be solved day 2 now
It could've been something in my PC or theirs who knows.
Sad fact is StockCharts did NOT reply.
thank you guys
Quasi, you are wrong about 'too much'
1st, the stockcharts offer this for premium
So they charge for it and then they offer it (supposedly)
I use Stockcharts for years and never had problems in this regard and I even had poor hardware and I'm sure stockcharts had poor hardware too at the time, and I even had modem connections.
ALL WORKED JUST FINE
So I am sorry but facts say we should totally dismiss your point about 'too much'.
2nd, I did NOT have problems so far until 5 days back!
I should add that stockcharts has better hardware, and I also have new very capable hardware along with dedicated high speed connection.
There is absolutely no way you can justify the down.
As for 'wow, too many and you need to simplify' I agree that simplifying is good and is one of my goals. I HAVE simplified and still working on it but almost all is rather essential.
Stockcharts do offer the possibility of many overlays for a reason you know. I am not the only one using many overlays so if you did not hear or see until now is not of much relevance.
I pay for service to maximum there is and as such in fairness you should not tell me to use just few indicators so 'we all have fast charts'.
And to highlight how unjust this is to ask from me I'll tell you that I only make a refresh few times a day ! Typically once per hour but oftentimes once per 2-3 hours.
I do have another charts (service) you know which I use heavily.
And even AH those daily charts from stochastics will not show.
And I notice 99% same speed (fast or slow) during market or AH. AH is just marginally faster.
If I'd 'show and tell' my charts you will agree that all is needed to be had even though 10% is used at any given time.
It's a lot to learn you know.
Simplifying is my dream and my goal though and any thing I added was not easy on my nerves because of that. But some things I added actually make me feel good.
Sorry for the long story and any friction that might have been.
I appreciate your help.
You are one of the good guys.
p.s. still no one from stockcharts reply...
I am sure when competition eventually will grow on them they will rise their customer service to standards.
They are playing with fire by frustrating and ignoring customers.
Quasi,Cush, now day 4 let down from stockcharts
no response no improvement
now things got worse
now some of the weekly charts started to be red-X since mid day
thanks for sympathy
I wish I could post the charts, I really do. This way we could really see what's going on maybe.
The thing is that I have all kinds of sets that I feel not comfortable making them public. I am sure you understand.
Taking few things (indicators) off will not help.
Let's try this, maybe /hopefully will help:
on Daily chart that stays red-X I have :
23 different overlays
15 different indicators - of which 3 have overlays
range 1 year, smoothed , candlestick , size 1280 , color Mohave (changing away from Mohave into default helped it show although sometimes I need keep clicking on "show chart" over the red-X)
on Weekly chart that stays red-X I have :
19 different overlays
12 different indicators - of which 1 have overlay
range 'fill the chart', smoothed , candlestick , size 1024 , color Sunset
(during writing this post the weekly chart came back from the dead. Daily chart did NOT, for the 4th day now)
Thank YOU guys for being nice. Far cry from Stockcharts outright let down "support" experience I have.
day 3 , no one cares at "support"
not even a reply
NOTHING
that's their way of appreciating people and customers
Quasi, red-X are advancing in fact
It's like a disease
Forget of getting better it goes Down
Yesterday's charts red-X remain solid in red-X
More charts I have are now red-X
What can I tell you, bad and bad
I asked for explanation and help in wrong place it seems aka "support"
e-mail to "support" is not answered day 2 now, nor the issue has been addressed in any way
meanwhile, like I said more charts start going down into dreaded red-X
If I reduced indicators which I should not be doing , it did not help, yet it seems that if I put color to default they start coming back from the dead. I hope at least for them to stay like this and not also go to red-X later. It's horrible.
I like to hear good news but fact is I have no idea if after they are done with this telco circuits if I can have charts normally.
I pay fully yet I was told in the past to use less indicators if I want charts to show , even though I was not using to max (!) in spite of their promise of service saying you can use such and such numbers of features and indicators if you pay premium.
When I asked how comes it did not got answered...
Not funny
Not happy
red X charts $#!@
NO charts :0(
red 'X'es
NO update on the issues on the site (they do NOT care)
so this looks like Stockcharts is back to their ..."normal"
how can we trade ?
how can we be satisfied ?

Waves: Ride the Market or Ride your Emotions, You Decide
Study finds day-traders with cooler heads prevail
Ari Kiev in this NYMEX presentation (Second link from top, "Psychology of Risk") says, "When you feel trading anxiety, start the stopwatch". What he means is that emotional impulses are waves with a very short time cycle. Simply timing your emotional response (be it anger, panic, euphoria, elation, or any other "emotion") will prove it is short lived.
Knowing this, it becomes useful to recognize your particular "emotional forms" earlier and earlier in their cycle. By witnessing your impulse to display anger, dejection, euphoria, etc, you see its arrival, its peak, and its passing. You become free to choose instead to not react, clearing the way for a rational response. You begin to experience for yourself that level-headed trading has a higher probability of success.
Our intellectually focused work has literally put us "out of touch" with our feelings. Traders are from Mars! By observing how your body responds during an emotional impulsive wave event isn't touchy-feely. With focus and persistent practice, it can speed you towards your goal of being a Trader in the Zone.
"Traders with extremely intense emotions had the worst overall trading performance, researchers found. Traders with the best performance had reactions somewhere in the middle, stronger than those reporting little emotional response, but not intensely happy when their trades did well or down in the dumps when they didn't.
'Having an intermediate range of emotion response seems to be the sweet spot,' said Lo.'
Researchers also found there isn't necessarily a trading personality marked by aggressiveness, for instance. The researchers said that suggests "different personality types may be able to perform trading functions equally well after proper instruction and practice," provided they don't get too emotional about profits or losses."
As a trader, you don't need academic proof: you have lived it daily, perhaps at times even been a victim of your own emotions. Looking inward can be just as useful as charts and technique if improving your performance is what you are after.

is this a common thing?

re: 'get rid of f'ing Thomson'
While it became painfully clear that we can not expect reliability from SC service whatsoever
I have to add that we do not know for a fact what is truly happening
We do not know if Thomson is worst or even bad!
We do not know if other vendors are any better ! ...or any worse !
It may be that Thomson also struggles with this issue and we are caught in the middle.
If the proper switches are going to solve the problem then there is no alternative really. If so , probably even if going with a different vendor but with same lousy switches will give us the same problem -- hence no point in doing so.
The biggest moronic thing and they should pay for it, is that Thomson did not take in consideration data overflow. (or maybe wasn't them but SC!)
Given the serious problems and that they can not have proper switches they shall scale back completely their changes until hardware is in place. I am sure they can obtain a waver from whomever to do this need be.
But since SC actually ordered the switches as per their update! ... then I think the ball might have been entirely in SC side the whole time (hence even less blame for Thomson!)
I didn't run out of possibilities and things to say (!) , but in conclusion so far, I think that while we may hate them all, it is stupid in our part to jump into conclusions and assumptions, and we better stick with cold facts that we know for sure.
We can look to SC statements and updates and hold them to their saying.
We can look to history. How things went and how SC handled us the customers all along. (this board is a fair testimony to that)
We can look to other charting services how they "cope" with "overflow" of data...
I think customers that hang around SC deserve a SERIOUS compensation and I think it shall have to cover at least this entire dark period. It would be nice if they could also cover losses caused by this non-professional period of let-down, but at least not make us pay for it !!
I am really angry at this situation
I feel I shall add this :
I think that difference in interest between the two currencies shall be imposed (computed) , but in my case I'd be trading the whole thing on margin so since practically I'd be borrowing ALL the funds anyway , so I'm confused if I deserve to be paid interest (since all that 100K is borrowed anyway).
please help me out here with this
thanks
can someone explain this interest thing pls
since it is a big interest differential between USD and JPY(almost zero for JPY)
in USD/JPY pair
if I have base in USD , but not much, and go and I buy 100k USD on margin and hold for 20 hours , would I pay interest $11 (or so) or I'd be receiving the interest ?
still have to click 2-3 times for the chart to display instead of the dreaded red X
... and today it is just Canada open !!!
It doesn't bode well for tomorrow !
:0(
thanks Casey /e
this is bad again as usual ! :0(
as usual :0(
tdium mentioned Prophet.com but I see no charts there whatsoever. Maybe he can offer some link.
BigCharts may be another alternative. Not the best but highly reliable.
I find platform charts of high quality and have great features.
Ironically my brokers always offered me features in charts that stockcharts suck big time (besides reliability!).
I use stockcharts for features the others don't have. Rest assured I'd move immediately competition moves in as I believe it can not be worse reliability than these guys.
I am absolutely positively sure that stockcharts is not the end of charting and sooner or later other competition will cut in and in a big way, maybe even free from our own brokers, with more and more features. This is just the beginning and stockcharts may fall strongly due to relentless screwup and letdowns.
Meanwhile I plan to move on to Forex and may dump stockcharts' pain and unusual punishment.
I still have plenty left of my subscription but feel like I threw the money away.
Today I had ...real time delayed..
It is just horrible
A second week screwed
..... and we've been "prepared" to look forward to yet another FOUR MONTHS of this horrible thing !
:0(
horrible
thanks guys for help on limit orders
needed to understand to be able to plan for orders
so if I see a likely support I'd have to basically place orders above it by at least spread distance
how waiting limit orders are executed?
Can it be that bid can drop just by half of the spread bellow my limit buy order and I'd get filled?
Or NO WAY, no such thing, and if I place a buy limit, the bid MUST go bellow my limit order by total amount of spread so it will be filled ?
Does ask MUST to come down to my limit order 100% of times for me to get filled ?
(same question for selling)
I am new and try to gain few infos
thanks
does this make sense to you?
> surge of data/volume cause problems
> We expect to have (hopefully minor) data issues for the next couple of days - especially with low volume, less popular stocks.
> We also placed the order for the larger circuits we need to completely fix the problem. No one knows how long it will take to get the new circuit in place however.
(this speaks for itself)
> Ultimately, StockCharts.com is responsible for what does and does not appear on its website.
> StockCharts.com did nothing to cause the problem and could not have known in advance that the problem would occur.
(this implies StockCharts is NOT responsible ! -- tries to wash/diminish previous statement of them being responsible especially so because being tactically placed after that)
also in the beginning they say:
"Saturday, June 30th - 12:30pm Eastern: We are currently unaware of any data or performance issues at this time."
While I GUARANTEE you that THERE ARE ISSUES !! Charts can NOT be saved , NOT added , NOT modified !
I complained ONE WEEK ago BEFORE this "Thomson" problem happened and STILL NOT SOLVED !
But hey, they are "not aware" of ANY issues.....
