Quasi,Golferette, first I want to say I appreciate what you are doing.

In a way we are together in this - charts, PC troubleshooting, stockcharts(...).

I believe Golferette correctly understood what the problem is.

"from I can garner there was a TIMER ISSUE. i.e. if something takes too long to download the sender's download stops"

That's precisely what I am blaming as well.

The only difference is that I blame this squarely on stockcharts and not on my ISP.

1) - ONLY stockcharts is the site that cut my data off. Any other place/site would wait quite a bit, even around ONE MINUTE if need be before line is dropped. Cause of waiting is all the time them (the site) or rarely IE browser get stuck which I notice and close it and open a fresh one with problem gone in a second.
2) - my line is dedicated and fast! No way I make a site waiting. I can not be cut off from stockcharts data output because "waiting" was exceeded. NO WAY! As a matter of fact my data from stockcharts is cut off in about 1 (ONE) second !

So yes he is right IMO for data being cut off, but the twist is that it is not because ISP but it is because of stockcharts.

When it was Thanksgiving and only Canadian market was opened the charts were perfect all day. No cut off of data at all !!!
Next day when US markets opened they started cutting me off again !

There is no doubt the facts support the "theory" above !

-------------
In regard to dead's comments about java:
I have the common working version.
I tried out others. No deal. All the programs I have including stockcharts work best in this version. It can carry out multiple java programs opened at same time without any problems. Sorry, but another dead end.
-------------

There were instances where others complained while my charts showed. I think now I am the one let down by stockcharts.

I think the only time you will believe it is the stockcharts's blame is when your own charts won't show while having no other problems around (sites, pc, ISP, all OK).

So far I seem to be the only one posting about this problem.

And so far stockcharts "support" did not reply to ANY of my e-mails! Typical of them. But this time is different. Now they first let me down and then refuse to answer to any request for help.
Total darkness.

Now that is evil of them.
