You want to know who the real MK is? Look him up on LinkedIn. Then do a little research on his posts and articles there. He started pumping this stock before he was "hired" by the company. The price at that time was $0.004 prior to the Million-to-one reverse split. To put that in perspective it would be a $4,0000 price post split that he was pumping and encouraging his followers to buy. The price is now down to $6 or $0.00000006 presplit. Not long after his ridiculous pump at absurd prices he was "hired" by the company and given a bunch of free shares, most likely to cover his short position.
Talk about selling your soul! This guy used to be a respected analyst, but has now sold his reputation and integrity to participate in this scam. All for the dollar. Curious how that makes MK feels when he contemplates eternity?
So instead of investigating if the statements are true you instead try to focus on if I'm short/long/or bystander. Typical. Can't discuss issues, only the person delivering the news.
Did you know that prior to Mr. Kovacocy officially joining BRKK he was on Linkedin pumping the stock (July 19th & 20th of last year). The price at the time of his pump was $0.004($4,000 post split). In the days following his posts pumping the stock the price plummeted (July 22nd thru July 29th) to $0.0001 ($100 post split).
A few months after him pumping the stock he was introduced as special consultant for the company in an official capacity. Thing about social media is there are always people paying attention. Something smells amiss with this guy.
He is an intelligent guy. I enjoy chatting with him from time to time.

Seems that CDMO happenings are not near as important as that of some individuals who post here. Those buys at $2.36 are looking o.k. at the moment. Tough lessons learned with this stock, especially believing all they hype over the years. They were good lessons though and taught me how to eek out a profit. Seems that for some that credibility is only given to those who buy and hold forever.

Why on earth would someone be criticized for trading, especially considering the pain we've endured from this company? All of us are traders, some just have different time horizons for how long we are willing to have capital locked up in a stock. Only criticism I've seen (and mostly from me) is from those who publicly announce their shorting campaign in an effort to bring PPS down. Thankfully that overseas activity ceased when the prior BOD resigned.

Since you asked though, I took a small loss on these shares by selling at $3.30 prior to the huge gap down. Bought again at $2.30 and sold those at $2.50...repeated that process twice, and made a nice progit. The only shares I currently hold are in my IRA, not my trading account. Those are woefully underwater, having bought at $1.42 pre-split.
I do plan to buy today/tomorrow as we usually have a small run-up to earnings. Those shares will also be flipped prior to the conference call.
I asked those who made the claim here to give me examples of what he's done to do that in the past. Still, no one can answer the question
I feel confident in saying that most investors believe Mannkind will succeed in becoming a profitable company largely because of the eventual success of Afrezza, else we probably would not have invested. The real question is "can Dr. Kendall help accelerate that timeline and does he have the experience/knowledge to navigate all the complexities?"
Again, according to what we do know about Dr. Kendall, the answer is yes he is VERY qualified. To more pointedly answer your question "what specifically has he done?" You're answer was given with his background if you care enough to read.

Generally when Senior Executives are hired, and there is a public press release, we do not get a list of specific projects the person led and delivered. Most people who are interested are intelligent enough to understand that a person with 30 years experience, served as Chief Medical Officer with American Diabetes Association, and VP of Global Medical Affairs for a multi-billion dollar BP, has accomplished everything necessary to earn those roles. So your presumption that just because an investor hasn't listed those specific project(s) Dr. Kendall worked on during his illustrious career that he never really did anything seems pretty far removed from reality. This is just not the way business works.

New investor here, but have followed for quiet awhile. Let me see if I understand your presumption. You're intimating that Dr. Kendall has not done anything in his career that would be beneficial to Mannkind, therefore this hire is a waste of resources, or at best a non-event?
From my experience working for large multi-billion dollar corporations, senior executives are not typically not given positions of responsibility if they are not extremely bright, capable of developing & driving strategy, making effective change, and in the case of public companies, build shareholder value.
According to the press release, and documentation subsequently filed with the SEC, the general consensus about Dr. Kendall is very different than yours.

This information seems so much more reliable than an anonymous message board poster who continuously spams negative opinions about Mannkind. In my opinion, Dr. Kendall joining MNKD is a very positive sign that he sees real promise.

Of course you know that no single stock has a 1 to 1 ratio with percentage of market movement right? Not making a judgement on recent activity with CDMO, but making the assertion that a two-week, broad market sell off will have no impact is a bit naive.
Possibly, but I think this has more to do with the broader market sell-off. Literally every stock I own is getting pummeled at the moment. Timing of the drop was the same across the board. I had several stops hit today.

Not exactly PW. Ronin started buying at $0.30. They were the reason it climbed to $0.80. Not making a judgement based on their recent selling, but just want to make sure we get the facts straight. Goodness knows there's enough revisionist history from the folks still working to create a legacy for the old criminals.
