I strongly believe at this point, that the company is NOT a scam. Note that they reference Utility Marketing Concepts explicitly and pronounce that the water heater WILL BE branded with the Freedom line already in production. Either Dave Myers is 100% sold on the product, or he is 100% involved in the "scam."

Now, we wait and see if it comes into production. Apparently Dave Myers believes it will. I would love to see his share count...

these are both reputable brokerages charging reasonable fees. Not stock-king.com or cheaptrade.com or some other fly-by-night that can't figure out how to make money.

IMO, your discount brokerage company is a uninterested in trading in penny stocks. They make next to nothing as it is on a regular trade if they are charging you less than $10. With that in mind, they actually lose money on penny stock trades because there is a cost per share to actually trade stocks which is usually covered by the commission unless you are trading massive amounts of shares. So if they can find a reason to stop trading pennies, they will.

The "big board" company he is talking about, may be Water Furnace, a Canadian company that has a major location in Ft. Wayne, Indiana... JMO

I agree dilution "could" be necessary, but if you have an amazing product then the manufacturer would be apt to "loan" the funds.

I guess the problem with that is that a greedy (business savvy) manufacturer would probably demand equity = dilution.

Is it outlanish to anyone else that UMC is currently assumed to have revenues of $2.5-$5.0 million per year ( look it up: http://www.manta.com/c/mmgw580/utility-marketing-concepts-inc) and they are assuming they can sell about $50 million ($238mm divided by 5 yr projection) worth of these water heaters per year?

How can they project numbers that big when they are NOWHERE near that size of a company. They only have 5-9 employees. Anyone asked Dave Myer that?
