Hi guys! Very exciting news on EIGH these days. Even though the divi failure was disappointing, I just see that as no gravy on the steak. And really, who eats gravy on a steak? Just a matter of time now before EIGH recovers. The uplisting should bring matters of share price to a head, along with an actual divi announcement based off earnings. GO EIGH! Have a good night...
Howdy folkenses, just popped in for a quick howdy. I'm still flabbergasted over the advanced class info. So much so that I decided to spend the rest of this week wrapping up all loose ends so I can devote total concentration to the paper trading. I did throw the FAS/FAZ charts up on the screen real quick, and ... and ... it's so beautiful!!! Words just escape me...
So, I bid you all adieu for the night. I installed a transmission in my truck today, and need to rest up for the transfer case tomorrow. I'm getting too old to be installing major vehicle subsystems on my back any more. What I need is a freakin' lift.
I am also waiting for approval for a certain other thing that will allow more freedom of speech, so to speak. See you there!
Yep. The FBI showed up too, first thing this morning. After a couple hours of taking notes, both agents signed up for the next basic class, then called their supervisors to say no laws were being broken and submit resignations. It was neat.
j/k
Nope, just 90 or 91 here. Might be 120+ at the next advanced in Vegas though.
Howdy folks, here I sit in Boston, just getting through the intros. Pens have been thrown. Kind of odd seeing Monk to the front, but hearing him behind me since the only speaker I can hear is directly behind me. Heh heh.. don't look for a lot of posts from me this weekend though, aside from this post I intend to devote my full attention to this.
Yes, it will make you money eventually. These plays aren't to be measured by profit in days, they should be looked at as profit in months or even years. Long term plays.
Funny, I read that as Monk himself doesn't make any money off the Monkinars. I see nothing about Monk's Den not making money. You know, like how Steve Jobs has a 1 dollar salary. When he drives to work on Jan 2, he's already lost money working for Apple. Does this mean Apple is a money losing company? I think not.
That's just great. Hopefully they can spin themselves a new coat. Winter's coming.
Yes you are a basher. You're a self-basher, and maybe one day you'll get some help for your peculiar affliction. Self abuse does NOT cure male pattern baldness.
From your link:
D. Are short sales legal?
Although the vast majority of short sales are legal, abusive short sale practices are illegal. For example, it is prohibited for any person to engage in a series of transactions in order to create actual or apparent active trading in a security or to depress the price of a security for the purpose of inducing the purchase or sale of the security by others. Thus, short sales effected to manipulate the price of a stock are prohibited.
Although some short squeezes may occur naturally in the market, a scheme to manipulate the price or availability of stock in order to cause a short squeeze is illegal.
Cute little guys! They're bigger than when we got our two though, they had barely opened their eyes when we found them. Good luck in finding homes, and thanks to everyone for their prayers.
Eventually, but mainly to the girls. He always stood off from the guys, which was who Furball preferred. Odd though, when Furry died Cuddles became more tolerant of the men in the house. But any other animals or any strangers in the house... he'd run from human strangers and attack if they cornered him. He'd just attack any other animals. When the cats were kittens we had them declawed, front and back. Furry was always a coward so he'd always run, but Cuddles... man oh man. We'd take the cats outside for fresh air, always supervised.
One day two fully grown Rotts came running around the house barking and growling. I went to intervene before they could get to my cats, but Cuddles was a damn sight faster. He started smacking the crap out of them and had them running before I could get across the yard to get between the dogs and the cats, and had them turned tail. I don't think the dogs were in the yard more than 10 seconds, and he almost chased them down the road. Luckily he stopped when I called him back.
About a year later, I was at work and the wife was sleeping in. When she woke up, she found Cuddles sitting next to a 3-4 foot long snake that had gotten in the house. The snake was dead, and was chewed from one end to the other, almost flat. No idea what kind of snake it was, and the wife said the cat was looking so proud he was almost floating off the floor.
Even in his old age he's been a monster. About 2 years ago I had him outside for some grass eating, when the neighbor's 3 year old outside, fully clawed tomcat comes around the corner, and it was on! Cuddles hauled ass to the cat and attacked, and the other cat tried to run. Cuddles tackled the other cat at a full gallop, and it was just a ball of fur rolling towards the privacy fence. The other cat managed to disengage and run up the fence and out of the yard. There was a line of fur, and I mean thick pieces, and not a bit of it belonged to Cuddles.
Still, to family members he was just as loving as a cat could be, before he fell sick. Now, he just lays in front of the litter box staring at the wall, eating almost nothing, and he's down on his weight by almost half. I just don't think he's going to make it, but we're going to keep trying to the end.
Cute little bugger. My daughter rescued a couple of strays while she was out on her own, and she brought them back in with her when she moved back in. She has a boy and a girl kitty, roughly 6 months old each. We just had them spayed and neutered last week. One's name is Salem, the other Sammy.
Thanks everyone.
Cowboy, his name is Cuddles. It's one of those Boy Named Sue things, but he was named by my kids who were 3 and 5 at the time. Now they're 19 and 21. Time flies. His brother's name was Furball.
No worries, it can sit there a while longer. Any idea how long it would be if they were going to yank it back?
I'd like to take a moment to ask for prayers for my cat. He was diagnosed with congestive heart failure last week, but was pulled through by the vet. This week is going to be critical for him, if he can rally and fight then he'll have another year with us, if not we'll have to put him down. He's fighting the good fight, and we're medicating him to help his heart and lungs recover, but he's 16 years old and his body may not be up to what his spirit is demanding. I know he's just a cat, but we've had him since both him and his brother (who died a few years ago) would both fit in the palm of your hand, and we're pretty attached. Thanks.
Morning all. I know many of us have seen EIGH divis in our accounts. I notice that I still have the divi in the account, has anyone else had them yanked as was rumored by the differently abled folks on the EIGH board? I also notice using Monk's basic setting the EIGH is turning upward, for all that it's supposed to hit .0001 as stated by those Special people.
It's when you use the P&D words that they get upset and start yanking posts. Still holding long and strong, and will be off to Boston next week. EIGH will recover and will still squeeze.
Yes, lots of people lost money, myself included. Sucks, but I'm still holding on because I bought for the squeeze, not the divi. This is a minor setback. Had the divi not been announced, it's likely the runup would not have happened, nor would the crash.
Same here. Jerry's a pretty smart fellow, and he knows that there is far more to be made by making this work than in setting a pump and dump scam. Anyone claiming to be a team member that's bailing because of the cancellation of the divi wasn't actually a team member, or they forgot why they got into this to begin with.
Nope, not blind. I won't feel ticked about this unless I get to Boston and there's no instructors. This is a mite upsetting, but should be easy to recover from with the advanced class.
Also holding, still see the potential. Jerry's classes alone are worth a bundle to the company.
Now that that's been said, where's that ignore button...
Panic sellers will help them cover. Anyone panicking and selling now was not in the team and not holding for the squeeze, they were in it for the divi. The divi would have been nice, but was never the goal. Still holding long and strong here. Yes, it's painful today, but then I said long and strong, not long and weak. Even now, now that the divi folks have bailed, EIGH is trending back upward. Slowly, but surely.
Boo hoo hoo... now blow...
Hey folks, have to admit this is a real confidence killer, but still... having met Jerry at San Antonio I can't see how he'd be mixed up in a scam. Seemed to me like he was well enough off on what he's done to date that he'd not need to be scamming people. That being said, I'm still holding my shares in the FLDs and will not be panic selling.
So far as a certain Canadian, the instant he opened his mouth at San Antonio I knew what he was, and I've been proven right. Karma indeed.
Next question... has anyone heard whether Boston is still on? I'd really, really like to get that advanced class. The divi was a disappointment, but I was never in it for the divi anyway.
Last post of the day.
If the MMs choose to continue selling naked shorts, then yes, they would come from the MMs. Otherwise, they would come from divi divers who just bought for the special dividend. If neither of these options are available, then nobody will be buying shares with divi money. It won't be from lack of trying though. As for me, I'll use the divi to buy neat stuff.
On the whole "where's the dividend coming from" thing goes, we are almost at the end of the quarter. The previous quarter may not show the funding, but then the previous quarter's filing is not going to reflect this quarter's profits earned, nor will it reflect the Monk's Den profits.
A special dividend may not prompt the cover, but it's going to sting those who hold an NSS position. The real killer will be if EIGH goes through with the possible quarterly dividend. If they do start paying a quarterly dividend, it will force a cover. It would be to EIGH's advantage to go with a quarterly dividend as this will drive the price of all their stock up into the multi-dollar range. There are a lot of people who hold stocks strictly for dividends, myself included, as they provide a nice income with no effort. Even with the recent share price reduction adding to the value, at this point a share shorted at 40 cents would lose half the gained value if the dividend is 10 cents. If it is more, you know... Anyone shorting this stock is currently betting that if the value suddenly drops by half its value that feelings of capital preservation are going to be overpowering, and they are counting on this to cover their shorts. If those holding will hold past the dividend and the coming cover, this strategy will fail and those with the vision and preseverence to stay with it will be very happy people.
EDIT - Thanks for that information PizzaClown, I heard that was the case too, and that the ubers are limited to 10 people at most to give personalized attention.
Hi everyone! New poster, long time lurker. I have a fairly large amount of EIGH stock from before the dividend announcement. My DD showed this to be a possible gem. I'm also pretty excited about my investment after seeing Monk's Den get bought. I figured it up according to the schedule posted. At the rate Monk's Den is growing, the average attendance should be 100 per basic, 150 per advanced, and 10 per Uber. With the current price of 1000 per basic and 1500 per advanced, with there being about 10 basic classes and 4 advanced, we'd be looking at 1,900,000 dollars earned next year just off Monkinars. Any idea how much the Uber classes are?
