When you buy stock you assume the risk of whatever happens to the company and your shares. The SEC's job is not to protect you it's to protect others who haven't jumped in the boat yet. The difference with people who are able to recoup some of their money ,like say Enron/Madoff, is that those companies, although fraudulent, did have money sitting on their books and did have assets to liquidate. Look at ACLH's financials; if you are FINALLY able to accept the fact that it's a shell then you'd realize lawyers are not going to want to pursue a case where there's not much of an $$incentive$$. Shareholders usually get their money back when it's a high profile company that has gained a lot of media attention which forces either the SEC to do more or attracts a lot of hungry lawyers...you're on pinks; most of the stocks are scams/pumps. Brush it off and move on. As far as prosecution goes...I expect that to happen but there will likely be a lot of stalling from the company's legal team before that happens.
My FINAL post, lol yeah right!!, anyways...the great thing about following this board is being able to sit back and say that I was right. Some of you may still feel that it's necessary to prove me wrong, but fact is that the ball's jumped out of your court. I think that most people are going to be sitting in shock wondering as to what their next move should be and over-analyzing any and all news that falls in front of them and being too scared to jump back in. The pinksheets are about getting your feet wet and learning from your mistakes and eventually being a profitable investor. I'm someone who doesn't have time for patience and that's what led me to trade on the pinksheets. I say the worst of this stock will be a good lesson to you only if you are able to pull yourself back and look at the big picture. Money comes and it goes...it can be lost and it can be gained. Losing 27K was probably my biggest hit, but even then I've still had days of losing 10k and making back 15k a day, because I knew that the risk would be favorable. I want everybody to just open their eyes for just a moment and look at the picture in front of them. Everything that you are trying to defend is in vain and while you're busy waiting on a worthless/useless stock...you could have been recovering and making a killing in another worthwhile stock. It's not bad to play the pumps but there is something wrong when you decide to place devotion over a stock that you don't have a long enough history with; a stock that will end up stripping you bare. You are not a long term investor only someone trying to make money out of a stock. You want/need money and don't you ever forget that.
No, THRR was a SCAM inside and out!! You'll find almost the same exact reasoning for the deals falling through and they always want to trace it back to the "imaginary" buyout company.
Xplosive stocks...the same newsletter that pumped THRR...hmmm
Come on you guys!! This is a flat out and repeating scam with the pinksheets. Cashout on Tuesday, because this is going to drop on you so fast that you will hate yourself for a while to come. Don't get roped in. Look at THRR, IHSN, EWRC, PGYC...look and research. It isn't going to happen. I'm not a basher, but if you label me that just know that I'll be here with you warning the newbies. Lots of money is being lost with these cons.
Reverse splits are not going to turn out the way you expect them to. If there is warning of a reverse split everybody hurries to sell; if there is no warning then as soon as trading begins there's going to be a selloff anyways. The PPS of the stock usually goes DOWN when trading starts back up and something that you'll find out is that often times there is a huge gap between the bid and the ask leaving you with little choice but to accept a loss and I'm talking 50%+ if you can't get out within the first couple days(My only and suprise reverse split ended up being a 80% loss in the first three trading days). The stock continues to go down until it's another rinse and repeat with a forward/reverse split.
WHY did the SEC target
these guys. They didn't protect my investment. Maybe they protected short investments.
Well from what I can gather; the SEC doesn't do much to help CURRENT investors, probably because you assumed the risk when you put your money down, and the outcome or new rules that may be applied after an investigation are directed towards helping FUTURE investors.(I think I'm right. Am I wrong?)
My guesses as to why ACLH was pulled...
1.Huge disaster/lots of attention/More potential for fraud means more eyes locked onto questionable claims/PR's.
2.BP...,if I was an unknown broke pinksheet stock, trying to sell some paper, the last thing I would do is pull a bunch of well known companies to back up my profile without having any evidence of prior provided services or involvement to show...but... that's just me.(this should be my #1)
3. If either of the above doesn't sway you, well, you can always fall back on alphabetical order.
I thought MOPN would be first, but let's see if #3 works out.
No see I've been following this board and the unrepentant pumping daily. "We're breaking .06" "We're going to shoot past .07" "We'll see .10 easily". I've been here and have laughed from the sidelines. You guys wouldn't have seen those numbers and today wouldn't have been any different from the past week and a half.
You guys have been screaming 6's 7's for the last week or so. Give it a rest.
THERE!! BP NEVER ASKED FOR THEM, according to the revised PR!! They're in the same position as MOPN was, but they actually backed down lol.
Purported TRUTH that can't be backed up.
That is just beautiful, LOL. No contracts and no involvements in the oil cleanup coming in your future. I'm going to contact IR of the mentioned companies on their website to see what they make of being used to commit fraud.
Post a link, don't be shy.
There never will be a BP contract, there never was a BP, Exxon, Conoco..etc connection. Their mystery product/technology(which most investors can't even name) doesn't exist. The funny thing about THRR though was they actually did have one verifiable patent. SHOW A PATENT AS THEY CLAIM!! Show PROOF!!
Ask these fraudsters to provide proof of their relationship with the major oil companies. While you're at it ask them for a patent number too!!
Ask these fraudsters to provide proof of their relationship with the major oil companies. While you're at it ask them for a patent number too!!
HAHAHAHA!! What a loser company. You're actually holding your money in this? ROFLMAO!!
Anyone who's still sitting here telling people to buy or blaming MM's, shorts, bashers, or trying to put a positive spin on this deliberate, planned, and undeniable SCAM should be considered a nutcase and added to your ignore list. This stock is not going to bounce, pop, or come back. It's going to continue to go down and that is the truth.
That was faster than I thought just read the PR!! In all honesty though, if you hold after today just know that it will not be touched with a pole. It's DEAD!! If you want to blame anyone, blame the company, the pumpers, and yourself. We tried to warn you but being thick is something you've got to learn to get over sooner or later. Better sooner though...right? No buyout with these stinking pinks are real. Remember that.
What did I tell you?
Two's faaaarrr out of the way and you should be fullout subpenny by next week and thereafter trip-sub after the ceo announces that they were unable to perform DD on the potential buyer(the plans are already laid out in the PR). If you listen to those who keep telling you to hold rather than look at what's in front of you and make a rational/commonsense-backed decision then you deserve to be scammed...it really is a good lesson that you won't soon forget.
I told you to mark my post.

I would also like to revise and say that it'll plummet after too.
You've BEEN in the RED and I call this week for the last time you will see the 2's. Subpenny soon and you guys will get a GOOD life lesson.
I'm going to go with the one that I'm familiar with(not sure if the BIGGEST) and that is Clean Harbors CLH
Maybe it's because the news you got today was a rewash of the May 12th PR and a lot of people will want out before the CC.
Thanks for the insight. I though will always call it a scroll bar, something that annoys me.
It's a SCROLL something I usually ignore on most websites. Sorry but dealing with stocks to me a ticker says a stock symbol.
EDIT:
It's the scroll bar no wonder I was looking for a ticker symbol. Go crazy guy. I apologize.
take it back
Going from a 20yr chart and I will have to disagree with you.
Look at ACLH and look at CLH..really?
And then plummet right before or after.
Mark this post.
Innovative Health Sciences, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: IHSN), announced today that the Company has completed and submitted its final request for due diligence to its prospective buyer, pursuant to an offer received on April 29, 2010 to purchase 100% of the Company.
"Once we receive a response from the potential buyer, we will work prudently and expeditiously to review the information and update shareholders with next steps,"
Boy are you guys going to be in for a rude awakening!!
Be careful holding your position going into the CC. You can always buy back in with good news(anyone who says otherwise is full of it), but it's hard to get out with more than you put in if you get the worst.
MOST people didn't buy shares of this company, because they believed in it or wanted to go long in it. They bought into it to make money and flip it based on the oil news/results. The only way this stock is going to keep moving higher is through more lies about a connection with BP.
Not as frustrated as the longs in this room right now. It'll be interesting to see what the rest of the week looks like without more hype news.
Dude, I daytrade for a living and have done quite well. Putting 27k heck 150k in a stock will not kill me. Frustrated with getting caught in a scam and passing it along will not make me feel bad at the end of the day.
I'll stick around until I get the last word in. Can you tell I like a good laugh?
