smart money pumped it up and sold calls above $1560 and made a bundle. OI was huge and they laughed all the way to the bank. Did not get fooled this time...bought puts when it didn't clear $1558 on the early bounce. We had a similar setup a few weeks back...have a good weekend...next week should be fancy with google, amazn and facebook reporting.

I really don't know at this point...I just take it one day at a time....that's cool you can trade SPY well...I always seem to lose money on SPY...You think JB will hire me now? Between my PCLN calls, TSLA puts on a $50+ drop and amzn...he should put me on salary don't you think? haha

amzn I was right on with the high of the day so far at $1352 it turned around...made nice on my puts...but TSLA was even better off the lows...had the $305 calls did well on those. Looks like they are going to hold amazon up at $1426 so far...but I think I'm done for the day. Alot of chop!

GL on your tsla put...that was quite a run up from yesterday. My broker, TD Ameritrade took money from me yesterday when their system crashed and they their quotes were messed up, almost a 10 minute lag. It affected many people BUT get this they aren't responsible for their quotes because they come from a 3rd party vendor (low lifes), and they have a DISCLAIMER, lol, saying they are not responsible for giving you shitty data. It's all in their favor...Anyway good luck on your trade. I would go with Interactive Brokers but they want a minimum $10,000k to open an account and I don't want that money tied up.

Exactly...with options it's all about timing...I'd rather daytrade stocks myself but not willing to do it on margin. Same thing happened with me on TSLA this week...could have been a lot bigger than it was...conviction and timing...still working on those two things.

AMZN got the $1460s at $6.00, just one contract and sold at $16.50...that was nuts...got in at the first low and then we had the double bottom bounce so timing wasn't the best. Nutty today...that first drop was unreal premarket!

yes, that's my issue too. I put a stop order in and intended to keep raising it but then had second thoughts and sold before the big leg down on tsla...left more than half of the trade on the table.

my entries are good, it's my exits that hurt me...once the trade goes my way I start looking for the exit, instead of waiting for my target...those spy puts would have been nice!
