Oops...you're right. I screwed up the symbol.
Thanks for the tip on WMMC, Thermo. Made 25% on it.
Hello All,
Not sure if anyone else caught this, but Belize posted on the WDRP board yesterday and indicated he still holds all if his shares. That message was there only briefly. Not surprisingly, that meassage was removed/deleted shortly afterward. It was a post between posts 38459 and 38462. I don't know if Belize decided to delete it or if it was deleted. Wouldn't be surprised if it was deleted by Mods or by Ihub. Not sure why...I didn't see anythong wrong with it...just the state of that board these days I guess, and it's the reason I don't post there anymore.
GLTA.
Hey blu. Love your signature.
Rock On!
GO IGXT!
Holding for partnership news.
GO IGXT!
Me too. Good luck to you.
I don't recall about when we should expect a PR, but I do remember the people who attended the meet and greet say that WDRP indicated that we should see the new website go live by last week or this week. So according to WDRP, website should be up by the end of this week...we shall see.
Hey TONY. Congrats on getting back to work. I'm sure it feels good to be back.
Hi Brant. I'm still alive too. Still holding and waiting patiently...just not posting on the other board anymore.
Then who could it be? I thought only the mod and Ihub Admin had the authority to change assistants. If it wasn't derek then it was Ihub Admin. I don't understand.
I think that was done out of anger. Jmo. I'm now scared for my investment because the board may now turn off potential investors. Very bad. I'm not sure yet whether I'll leave the board OR post until I get myself banned.
I didn't resign either...we we're simply replaced. I think Derek is fed up with WDRP and handing the board over to others. He even stated that today was his last post.
Thanks, Tony. I appreciate the report and the picture. I guess I was just surprised about the WAPP because I had a tankless for two years (before I sold my house) and I only adjusted it once in that two years. I changed the temp from 120 to 130 at the control panel. I can see a car door app being useful since you unlock and lock your car daily, but a water heater adjustment app seems like it wouldn't be used often. Having said that, if it includes status reporting to you and also reports required maintenance to whomever maintains it, I guess that could be useful.
Still Long WDRP!!!
TONY, did they mention the name of the pool heater manufacturer? I know that RHEEM makes pool heaters AND tankless water heaters. Not sure if their a big board stock though.
Long WDRP!!!
Thanks, TONY, for the update. The parts I like best from your brief update are the additional potential contracts and the big board company.
Something that we didn't know was that there a couple of countries ready to sign contracts when we deliver the unit. One of the manufacturers that Wdrp is talking to is a big board public company that manufactures pool heaters.
OK, thanks, 2ez. I stand corrected. I'm not an Apex member...just a regular TDA member. I did buy 150,000 shares last Thursday (or maybe it was Wednesday), but sounds like the change happened today. I agree, let's hope it doesn't last long.
Long WDRP!!!
Can anyone go in and enter apps in the Android Market? ...sort of like Wikipedia? I just don't understand why you'd want an app for your tankless water heater. I seriously thought it was a joke when it was first mentioned today, and then I was amused when people believed it...but there it is in the Android Market...complete withthe new slick Wanderport logo. Sorry, I just don't understand.
I can't see the app being useful for home use (POU and POE), but is it possible that this app would actually be useful with one of the other non-residential applications? I do believe that this unit technology will lend itself to applications beyond residential heating of water.
GO WDRP!!!
I thought the WAPP was a joke. But it is there in the market. Seems very odd to me.
Exactly. I have the same issue with TDA. I ususally have to wait three days for funds from sales to clear before I can place a buy order...it's a bit annoying. Anyway, it makes it look like they're not accepting orders even though it's not an issue with the stock.
Long WDRP!!!
Thanks Tony. Appreciate it. Any idea when meeting will end?
Hi Erin. I'm in the Bay Area, more specifically the South Bay. I'll be checking the board for the full hour, but I doubt anyone at the meet and greet will post anything in the first hour. We'll see. Should be a very exciting day.
GO WDRP!!!
Big day for WDRP investros. Let's hope all our questions get answered. I like BeerIsGood's thought that the surprise might be a UL sticker on the unit. That would be sweet.
GO WDRP!!!
I'm on the West Coast, so I will take an hour lunch at 11:00 am PST (start of meet and greet) and stare at my smartphone for the hour anxiously awaiting any feedback whatsoever on the board. I'm very excited about tomorrow and wish I could be there. I'll definitely be there in spirit.
Go WDRP!!!
8.5 hour drive with a cast on your leg? You're a trooper! Drive safely. Go WDRP!!!
Good point, Beer. You could be right...if it's open to the public then they may not need a corresponding PR issued. I spent about 1/2 hour on the SEC website trying to find it and I couldn't. I stopped because I wasn't finding it plus I needed to get up to uncork a nice Syrah.
Good point, Wrinkles. Let's hope that the release of material info, if any, is done fairly. I completely agree with you on that. I hope the new website is up and running on Tuesday.
Regarding glasses half full or half empty...I'm an engineer, so for me, the glass is twice as large as it needs to be. :)
Long WDRP!
Really? 24 hours? Thanks, Beers. Wow, that's a whole trading day during which some would have material info while most would not. Like, I said, I'm not an expert and have no clue. Where would this rule be found..SEC website maybe? I'll look because now I'm curious.
Lond WDRP!
Agreed. Even though I don't expect it to be up and running prior to Tuesday, I still check it a few times each day just in case.
Long WDRP!
Agreed. Thanks for that addition.
Long WDRP!
OK, since many others have expressed their thoughts on whether or not a demonstration of the unit should be performed at the meet and greet, I'll express mine. I know mine is probably in the minority and most may disagree with me, but I personally wouldn't need to see it work. I would rather see the finished unit with the pretty skins (perhaps with a logo), take the skins off and look inside, have Robert explain the inards, the components, and their functions, and have Robert discuss the measurements and their comparisons to the competition as well as point out all of the competitive advantages. I'd want to know what the cost projections are (price to customer as well as total cost of ownership). Those are the important pieces of info for me. I really don't care to see cold water go in and hot water come out. That doesn't tell me anything. I realize that the flow rates and delta temps could be measured to prove that it works, but I believe Robert and Design 1st are honest and I'm willing to take their word for it. Just give me the measured efficiencies and other relevant technical data and I'm happy. Please don't misunderstand me, a demo would be a bonus but it is not necessary for me to judge whether or not we have a winner. I don't believe that lack of a demo will break the company. Sure, some investors won't be pleased and may bail, but not me. I haven't invested more than I'm willing to lose and I don't lose any sleep at night over it.
Again, I wish all who are traveling a safe trip.
Long WDRP!
If there is an announcement of a manufacturer, I would consider that material info and they would then need to issue a PR simultaneously with the start of the meeting. IMO. I'm not an expert and I certainly don't know for sure...but I would think that would be the case. Again, IMO.
Long WDRP!
I really wish I could attend but can't due to work. I wish all who are going a safe trip. I think the list of questions to be asked is very good and thorough. Hopefully they will all get asked and answered.
Wondering what the surprise will be. It's been indicated on this board that the surprise is related to the unit itself and not to contracts (sales or manufacturing) or buyouts or anyhting of that nature. We will see. If it's material information, then I would imagine we'd get a PR issued at 2:00 pm EST to coincide with the start of the meeting. We'll see. Have a great weekend everyone.
LONG WDRP!
Blast from the past. Thanks, nitwit. I'm revealing my age, but I used to watch that show as a little kid.
LONG WDRP!!
Thanks, Pete. I vaguely remember hearing the technical term for it, but I just couldn't remember it or find it when I searched. So no sandwiches we think...excellent...sorry Wrinkles. GO WDRP!!!
Thanks for the responses. I think the MCMHU will have many technical advantages. Let' s hope it is cost competitive. GO WDRP!!!
Is thermal overload overheating of the heating element that is in direct contact with the water? Does it turn off briefly to protect the heating element from damage? If so, does that mean that the MCMHU may possibly not have that problem since the water is directly heated with micorwaves and not through conduction from direct contact with hot elements? Or do we know if the MCMHU uses both direct heating from microwaves AND conduction from hot elements?
Hi TONY. It was always after the water had already been hot for awhile. After I expereinced it a few times, I started asking around and doing a little research online and I found that other tankless heaters had the same problem. I don't know if all tankless heaters have that problem. I had the temp set at 130 degrees. it was a whole house unit (i.e. Point of Entry).
