Sold half my BP Calls for 60% Gain !!!

As I mentioned here yesterday ... I bought the July 35 Calls @ 1.70 late on Wednesday. Sold half today @ 2.70 for a 60% gain.

Question: sell the rest now or wait til Friday (or later) ...? Thnx!

DJIA Strong into Close/ See Our Options Tips

Looks like the markets will close strong today.
I mentioned here yesterday that I was buying the July 35 Calls for BP @ 1.70 ... now up to 2.70.
Together with a recovering BP stock (if possible) market will continue upward.

BP July 30 Calls ...Tempting!

I'm quite tempted to take a nibble on some July 30 Calls for BP.
Currently trading @ $4.35.

BP Support @ $30 (more or less)

I know these guys are hitting bottom ... but what a tempting opportunity at these levels!!!
Gotta keep in mind, BP brings in about $600M revenue daily and only paying out about 1% toward clean-up. Sure, they will pay ... but it's not the end of this company.

increase or remove liability caps for deep-water oil drilling.

BP plc (ADR) (Public, NYSE:BP) trading at 14 Year Low !!!

No doubt these guys have some liability issues ... but BP has not seen $33 since 1996 ... yes 1996 !!!

They earn about $600M/day ... and currently spending about 1% of that (per day) on cleanup. Sure, they will be forced to pay, but I am staking out an Option position for this to be the bottom.

Brightpoint, Inc. (Public, NASDAQ:CELL) trending UP quick!

These guys are UP about 4% already, trading @ 7.63 with a 52-week range of 5.14 - 9.29 and a PE of around 15.

Plexus Corp. (Public, NASDAQ:PLXS) hitting lows ... Bounce Play?

These guys are heading down pretty hard ... could be a possible bounce play soon. Currently trading @ 29.57 ... they have a 52-week range of 18.87 - 39.66 and a PE of 19.

We were just recently a Yahoo Group … and have now developed our own message forum and interactive financial website with a rather simple goal in mind: to avoid all the pumping, bashing or political chatter that's so common on many message boards.

This is a grass-roots developed site to alert fellow investors of potential short-term investments in time to make their own decisions and to hopefully make profitable trades! Too often, many of my fellow investors and friends discuss these ideas "after the fact" … even though some of us had the "tip" early on. So I think what I need is a scan that looks for relatively high volume during Pre/Post Market.

Reason why Pre/Post Market Highs and Lows don't work for me is because there could be a hot stock moving either UP or DOWN in extended hours trading and they might not reach HIGHS or LOWS. Therefore, I just want to know where the action is.

But how can I scan for just Pre and Post Market VOLUMES?

Essentially, I just want to see what the hot stocks are that are trading pre and post.
