To you too. LTG.
Keep up the good work. I enjoy your posts. I don't post often but I read them almost daily.
Let's hope B.B. will bring in the New Year right. I can't understand why the technology doesn't speak for itself dispite the bad leadership.
Q8
Happy New Year to all from Germany. It is 8PM New Years Eve here.
I started working with GE in Schenectady NY as a Junior Programmer in 1968 on GE's 635 line of mainframes running GECOSII. Didn't have any networking capability only batch input using cards. In 1970 I went to Paris France (my first wife was French) and worked for Bull-GE which later bacame Honeywell-Bull, still working on the GE-635 but running the GCOS3 operating system with a networking capability of 300-600 baud rate. Went up through the Honeywell mainframes from the H6000 up to the DPS8's all running the GCOS3 - GCOS8 operating system. Worked at NASA Kennedy SPace center on the Shuttle Ground Operation Support System from 1995 to 1998. Spent most of my career after that in Germany with the military's World Wide Military Control System (WWMCCS - Honeywell mainframes). Spent 6 years in Kuwait from 1994 until 2010 and returned to Germany in 2010.
I bought my first PC in 1983 when working for Tenneco Oil and Exploration in Houston, TX. It was a TRS80 with 2-5and 1/4 floppy drives running TRSDOS operating system. It's still in storage and I long to see if it still runs.
I sometime find it mind boggling as I set here with my laptop which has more power and storage capacity than many of the mainframes which I worked with.
Didn't mean to get this "wordy" when I started out. Just wanted to wish you all a Happy New Year.
By the way, I just received my first Social Security deposit this month.
I'm ready to see this thing take off. Come on B.B., get us going in 2012. Retirement is just around the corner and I'd like to not worry about the future.
Q8
Just picked up 200K shares.
Q8
What does that have to do with anything?
Q8
Chin,
Good find and an impressive ad. Only question is... "Are they running the ad anywhere other than their web site?". If police departments have to log onto LE's web site to see the ad, it's not going to drum up much business. JMO.
Q8
Vern,
My thoughts exactly! He needs to get his @$$ in high gear and get these produced and sold or some other company will come up with a "better mousetrap".

Good Morning Y'all.
I havn't posted for a long time but read the posts religiously.
I see Mr. Cotasaenz's appointment as a very positive move. Mr. Petty has too many ventures on his plate and seems unable to carry anything to fruitation.
Maybe Adrian is just what FMNJ needs to remain focused on its goals and hopefully, he will be able to keep Mr. Petty focused as well.
It's quite possible the board "strongly suggested" that Petty hire a President.

Q8
Lush,
"ADD" exactly what I was thinking!
How many times over the past 3 years have we been hearing about joint ventures, memorandum of agreements, etc. etc. He can't seem to keep focused on anything.
Q8
Y'all,
Something to lighten up the atmostphere here since it relates to Tazer. My wife sent this to me.
This is sooooo funny!!!
ONLY A MAN
WOULD ATTEMPT THIS
Just try reading this without laughing till you cry!!!
Pocket Tazer Stun Gun, a great gift for the wife.
A guy who purchased his lovely wife a pocket Tazer for their anniversary
submitted this:
Last weekend I saw something at Larry's Pistol & Pawn Shop that sparked
my interest. The occasion was our 15th anniversary and I was looking for a
little something extra for my wife Julie. What I came across was a
100,000-volt, pocket/purse-sized Tazer.
The effects of the Tazer were supposed to be short lived, with no long
term adverse affect on your assailant, allowing her adequate time to retreat
to safety...??
WAY TOO COOL! Long story short, I bought the device and brought it home...
I loaded two AAA batteries in the darn thing and pushed the button.
Nothing! I was disappointed. I learned, however, that if I pushed the button and
pressed it against a metal surface at the same time, I'd get the blue arc
of electricity darting back and forth between the prongs.
AWESOME!!! Unfortunately, I have yet to explain to Julie what that burn
spot is on the face of her microwave.
Okay, so I was home alone with this new toy, thinking to myself that it
couldn't be all that bad with only two AAA batteries, right?
There I sat in my recliner, my cat Gracie looking on intently (trusting
little soul) while I was reading the directions and thinking that I really
needed to try this thing out on a flesh & blood moving target.
I must admit I thought about zapping Gracie (for a fraction of a second)
and then thought better of it. She is such a sweet cat. But, if I was going
to give this thing to my wife to protect herself against a mugger, I did
want some assurance that it would work as advertised.
Am I wrong?
So, there I sat in a pair of shorts and a tank top with my reading glasses
perched delicately on the bridge of my nose, directions in one hand, and
Tazer in another.
The directions said that:
a one-second burst would shock and disorient your assailant;
a two-second burst was supposed to cause muscle spasms and a major loss of
bodily control; and
a three-second burst would purportedly make your assailant flop on the
ground like a fish out of water.
Any burst longer than three seconds would be wasting the batteries.
All the while I'm looking at this little device measuring about 5" long,
less than 3/4 inch in circumference (loaded with two itsy, bitsy AAA
batteries); pretty cute really, and thinking to myself, 'no possible way!'
What happened next is almost beyond description, but I'll do my best.
I'm sitting there alone, Gracie looking on with her head cocked to one
side so as to say, 'Don't do it stupid,' reasoning that a one second burst
from such a tiny lil ole thing couldn't hurt all that bad.. I decided to give
myself a one second burst just for heck of it.
I touched the prongs to my naked thigh, pushed the button, and...
HOLY MOTHER OF GOD. WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION. WHAT THE... !!!
I'm pretty sure Hulk Hogan ran in through the side door, picked me up in
the recliner, then body slammed us both on the carpet, over and over and
over again. I vaguely recall waking up on my side in the fetal position,
with tears in my eyes, body soaking wet, both nipples on fire, testicles
nowhere to be found, with my left arm tucked under my body in the oddest
position, and tingling in my legs! The cat was making meowing sounds I had never
heard before, clinging to a picture frame hanging above the fireplace,
obviously in an attempt to avoid getting slammed by my body flopping all over
the living room..
Note:
If you ever feel compelled to 'mug' yourself with a Tazer,
one note of caution:
There is NO such thing as a one second burst when you zap yourself! You
will not let go of that thing until it is dislodged from your hand by a
violent thrashing about on the floor!
A three second burst would be considered conservative!
A minute or so later (I can't be sure, as time was a relative thing at
that point), I collected my wits (what little I had left), sat up and
surveyed the landscape.
* My bent reading glasses were on the mantel of the fireplace.
* The recliner was upside down and about 8 feet or so from where it
originally was.
* My triceps, right thigh and both nipples were still twitching.
* My face felt like it had been shot up with Novocain, and my bottom
lip weighed 88 lbs.
* I had no control over the drooling.
* Apparently I had crapped in my shorts, but was too numb to know
for sure, and my sense of smell was gone.
* I saw a faint smoke cloud above my head, which I believe came from
my hair.
I'm still looking for my testicles and I'm offering a significant reward
for their safe return!
PS: My wife can't stop laughing about my experience, loved the gift and
now regularly threatens me with it!
If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!
To all you "old timers"....
Do you remember way back when.... When FMNJ posted PR about selling the zinc to Japan???? Does something sound vaguely familiar with the sale of antimony to China? Smells a little funny to me.
Hmmmm.

Has anyone checked the Houston Obits? Maybe Billy is no longer with us. :(
Just in case you are reading these Bill, and you are still with us, Merry Christmas to you and all there at FMNJ.
Merry Christmas to all you fellow investors. Let's hope this thing pops soon.

NM, NJ what diffference should it make? In this age of technology we should still be able to contact him via email.
Q8
I posted this several weeks ago. I would have liked to email Wayne Armstrong to get his input to where this is in the evaluation phase. Wayne Armstrong is listed on LEI's web site as Sr. Vice President of Operations. He has been involved with JCSD business with ITT and is named as one of the contributors to the patent. If anyone knows what's going on with this, he would.
WHY IS HE NOT LISTED IN THE CONTACTS. IF HE IS SR. VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS WHY DOESN'T HE HAVE A FREAKIN EMAIL ADDRESS?
"Official reply from ######### states: "The JCSD effort morphed into a

Note also that DHS is involved in JCSD-like technology in the LISA (R) Man-Portable. This is also an ITT Corp developmental item and employs UV laser and RAMAN technology also.
If interested, you could probably find more information from ITT Corp.""
Why do you assume I wouldn't know what sociopath means?
Q8
LTG,
What's with the "why would he listen to a dumb azz penny investor whos upside down." comment?
I haven'y ever critisized anyone on this board even if disagreed with what they were posting.
Q8
LTG,
Of course I know that! The only ones that are of any importance are the DL and JSCD. I used his failure to do as promised as an excuse to contact everyone at LEI and let them know what we think of his dumb A$$.
Q8
Nobody said I didn't like the tech. If I didn't, I wouldn't be here.
I don't post much but I've been here since LEI first anounced it completed the Proof-of-Concept contract worth $481,268 with ITT.
Problem is, the mismanagement could put everything in the crapper.
Q8
Y'all,
November is almost over and still no update from Battis on LEI's "other technologies". I sent the following email to everyone on their contact list. If true to form, Mr. Lavine will be the only one to respond.
All,
First of all, thank you, Mr. Lavine, for responding to my last email. Out of all you fine folks at LEI, Mr. Lavine was the only one who had the consideration and professionalism to respond.
Having said that, November is almost history Mr. Battis. What about those "more important developments on our other technologies in November" that was stated in your last FM?
Last year we, the shareholders, received a HAPPY THANKSGIVING" message from you in your Nov. FM. You must have been too busy out "beating the bushes" this year drumming up sales. That's OK, we know the thought was there just the same.
Here's some more food for thought that might give you some idea why your investors are losing confidence in LEI:
"As I have stated, our sales pipeline exceeds $1 Billion in potential sales." The keyword here is "POTENTIAL", to date there has not been a single sale!
What happened to Isreal? That little tidbit seems to have dropped of the radar.
June 23, 2010:
"Many countries and organizations that wanted to make smaller trial orders to conduct pilot programs were not able to place orders." Where are the orders?
"This great relationship allows us to focus on SALES – SALES – SALES!" Where are they (the SALES)? What about that relationship? Has there been any DL's roll off the assembly line? What about the 1000 that were anounced several months ago?
Nov. 25, 2009:
"TRT Technology - We have made an offer to a business development VP who has great experience in consumer electronics." . Without mentioning any company names, what's the latest response from that VP? Sending an unsolicited memo to some VP hardly constitutes anything worth mentioning in your FM. Sounds like more Battis BS to me (that has a certain ring to it, doesn't it?).
"Remote Sensing – We will be receiving several patents on the new DP Green Pumped Alexandrite
Laser for Remote Sensing of Chemical and Biological Warfare Agents." OK, What's the real deal with ITT these days? Is LEI and ITT still in this together? What about Mr. Armstrong??? As "Senior Vice President of Operations", I would think he would have an email contact along with the rest of the "Executive Team". I have made my own inquiries into the JCSD and have been informed that
"The JCSD effort morphed into a
"Multi Mission Multi Threat Detector (M3TD) Technology Evaluation" to
provide a broader look at threats and technologies. The evaluation program
is under review at the JPEO CBD and awaiting approval."...
I would be interested to hear Mr. Armstrong's views on where this business opportunity stands.
"Photo Acoustic Imaging using our BrightStar FLP Alexandrite Laser is a project we have been involved with for nine years." OK, after 9 years, is it producing any revenue? Is anything producing any revenue ourside of your investors.
""The Laser Energetics world class team is working hard to achieve World Class success!
Laser Energetics – A place where “Good Guys & Girls Stick Together™ – Win Together”
and why “Winners Never Quit and Quitters Never Win™”. Two sayings I live by and the
reason why the future is ours.""
I would like to believe this last quote, but with the lack of sales and not seeing any of the business opportuities come to fruitation, you have to understand why your investors are losing cofidence in LEI, not to mention the falling stock prices over the past few month. We can only assume that there is more here than meets the eye.
Best regards to all,
Good Luck to all this week!

LTG,
The following from BB's Oct 29 FM leads me to believe that they are not yet being manufactured by GD:
Laser Energetics is building the first units for production. Laser Energetics will then transfer the know how to produce the units to GD-ATP. GD-ATP purchased units from LEI which are being produced for GD-ATP by LEI. These units will be for training purposes. LEI has also produced assembly equipment and test equipment for testing the electronics and assembling the GUARDIANS. The series of pictures shown below shows several steps of the Guardian being assembled.
The completion of the transfer of the technology of the GUARDIAN will be made over the course of the next two months, with trials being done in the first quarter 2011. At that moment in time, LEI will move on to complete the DEFENDER. The extended product line of Dazer Lasers will continue with further news coming in the near future.
GLTYA
Q8
The problem is they don't have the redsigned version ready for manufacturing. Has it been certified yet? My guess, it has not.
I sent out a whole list of questions to everyone at LEI (which I posted on Saturday #23132) based on the latest FM. Mike Lavine is the only one who responded.
On another note, I just put in a buy for another 100k. I can't pass up these prices.
GLTYA
Q8
I know what you man by being out of time. I'm approaching that myself. However, from past experience with other "enterprises" it's remarkable how% things can turn around so quickly. They can run 300%, 400%, 1000%, or 3000% at the drop of a hat. I've seen it happen with scams that have little or nothing to offer.
At least we have something solid here. BB may be a BS'er but the technology is there or else GD would dump him like a hot potatoe.
I think he's counting on someone else, in this case GD and for the JCSD ITT to make it happen.
Hang in there.
Q8
bmoondoggy and kingthorpe,
I can't say that I agree with either of you. I still believe this company is going to make it (someday).
Having said that, I was somewhat pi**ed at the Oct29 Founder's Message and ended up sending the following email to all the contacts posted on their web site. Unfortunately, the one I wanted it to go to was not there. The items noted were in response to BB's FM:
"This big anxious group of prospects is chomping at the bit for the new Dazer Laser GUARDIAN to be demonstrated"
Where are they? Who are they? Specifics... not just "DOD" or "Police Departments" or "prisons". I would like to know
WHO and where in these organizations have shown interest.
Your investors who have a lot of hard earned money in your company are chomping at the bit for sales and results!
"As I have stated, our sales pipeline exceeds $1 Billion in potential sales."
And I have a potential investment of $1 Billion to invest in your company. Do you believe me??? Where's my proof, you ask?
"All of these groups require us to show them the “production GUARDIAN” prior to ordering."
Makes sense to me. I would require the same - SO WHERE IS IT?
"Hence our goal is to get many of these first units in the hands of our team and our Distributors and Reps"
Where's the 1000 units that were already produced by GDthat was reported several months ago?
"our new team of Advisors for US Department of Defense Sales and Law Enforcement Sales are poised for rapid growth."
First I've heard of "our" new team of advisors. Who and where are they? How are they being paid? For that matter, how
is anyone working for LEI being paid? Is there ANY income from any source other than your investors?
"With the hiring of John Harvey from General Dynamics, we have one of their best people now working very effectively on
DoD business along with our team of Navy Seals."
So far I agree with this statement and I think that John Harvey
brings to LEI a level of professionalism that was sadly needed. Just my opinion - the jury is still out.
"Laser Energetics and I want to thank all of our great and patient shareholders."
That should have read "not so patient shareholders".
Noted also was the lack of reference to any other projects that LEI has reported on in the past. Have these been dropped
and you now have all your eggs in the DL basket?
It's impossible to tell from the pictures what this guy is doing. Looks to me like he's trying to unclog the kitchen sink.
It's things like this that raise doubts about the
the company. I dislike saying it, but he whole message just sounds like so much B.S. Again, just my opinion.
I want to see a series of pictures detailing the steps from beginning to the finished product!
What is the status of the other projects reported on in the past (TRT, Remote Sensing, Photo_Acoustic Imaging)?
The following is from an email I sent to Mr. Lavine, whom I assume still works for LEI. I received a 1 liner in response
saying he had forwarded my email to Mr. Harvey and Mr. Battis. Not even a "thank-you" or "KMA" for taking the time to
obtain the information. Nor did I receive any response from Mr. Harvey or Mr. Battis if the email was, indeed
forwarded to them.
"Official reply from ######### states: "The JCSD effort morphed into a
"Multi Mission Multi Threat Detector (M3TD) Technology Evaluation" to

military utility in various missions (contact and non-contact) supporting
the Next Generation Chemical Point Detector and other platform payload
requirements as well as any additional mission capabilities identified."
Note also that DHS is involved in JCSD-like technology in the LISA (R)
Man-Portable. This is also an ITT Corp developmental item and employs UV
laser and RAMAN technology also. If interested, you could probably find
more information from ITT Corp.
Is anyone staying on top of this? Where is Wayne Armstrong? Is he still associated with LEI and if so why isn't he
on the list of contacts? How can I contact him?
What's the status of the Israel testing/evaluation?
The general consensis, is that the leadership of LEI (our company) is so arrogant that they consider us, the investors
a bunch of bafoons and they can throw us little tidbits of BS to keep us happy. GUYS, it's not working. Just go to
the LNGT board on Investors Hub and see how happy we really are.
In conclusion, I sincerely believe that no one in LEI will have taken the time to read this, much less respond..
I received the following response from Mike Lavine:
I understand your frustration and I may only speak on behalf the DL team. We do not have anything to do with the other
aspects of LEI. As far as the DL is concerned we have been working diligently in bringing this product to market.
Numerous sacrifices have been made by the team in order to do this. I know you want answers as to who we are dealing
with but due to NDAs and contract negotiations we are unable to disclose until the contracts are finalized. As soon as
this occurs announcements will be made. As Bob stated please be patient, good things are coming to us and without the
support of our investors we wouldn't be in the position we are today . I appreciate your emails and input, please stay
the course and continue your support of LEI. Thank you for your time.
Regards,
Michael Levine

This time, we've been here only 7 months. My wife and I have spent approximately 20 years over here total (at different times)K-town, Ramstein, Stuttgart and Baumholder.
We were also in Kuwait for 6 years before coming back to Germany, hense the "Q8investor" handle.
Aside from that, I emailed Lavine with the text that I posted and asked if he had any additional information and would Wayne Armstrong be able to provide some insite also. I got an email back from him simply saying he had forwarded my email to Harvey and Battis. What a piece of work that guy is. He didn't even indicate whether he was aware of the study or not. PRINCETON, NJ – August 12, 2008 – Laser Energetics, Inc. (Pink Sheets: LNGT - News) announced today that the Company has successfully completed the Proof-of-Concept contract worth $481,268 with ITT Corporation (NYSE:ITT). This contract supports the U.S. Army’s initiative to develop an all solid-state laser for the next generation of chemical warfare agent sensor currently being developed by ITT. This contract provided LEI the opportunity to design and demonstrate a high power all solid state Alexandrite pumping concept, which is now part of the Laser Energetics’ BrightStar™ product line.
The ITT contract to Laser Energetics follows the Army’s selection of Laser Energetics’ BrightStar™ as the laser technology of choice for remote sensing of chemical warfare agents. The technology was selected in 2007 by a government panel following the panel’s evaluation of 20 different competing laser technologies from 18 laser companies. The panel’s evaluation and decision was made in part by Laser Energetics’ report on this all solid-state Alexandrite laser and the technical advantages of this tunable laser technology over other lasers.
The Laser Energetics’ BrightStar™ is covered under Laser Energetics Patent filings PCT/US06//015339.
Q8
Good morning to all. I'm in Germany so you are all probably still snoozing.
I believe that the Joint Contaminated Surface Detector (JCSD) is what will eventually make it BIG for LEI (and us). Recently, I submitted via email a couple of inquiries and received the following interesting response from one:
"Official reply from ######### states: "The JCSD effort morphed into a "Multi Mission Multi Threat Detector (M3TD) Technology Evaluation" to provide a broader look at threats and technologies. The evaluation program is under review at the JPEO CBD and awaiting approval. Once approved, results of the 18 month evaluation will identify candidate technologies for military utility in various missions (contact and non-contact) supporting the Next Generation Chemical Point Detector and other platform payload requirements as well as any additional mission capabilities identified."
"Note also that DHS is involved in JCSD-like technology in the LISA (R) Man-Portable. This is also an ITT Corp developmental item and employs UV laser and RAMAN technology also. If interested, you could probably find more information from ITT Corp. ".
The "DHS" reference above was to "Department of Homeland Security". I had asked specifically if there was any interest in this technology from DHS. In light of the recent events, it would seem that DHS would be all over this like a stink on s**t.
I need to find a contact at ITT now.
GLTYA and have a great day.

DL,
If you remember some of the photos taken at previous shows, the team did not look very professional. We probably have Harvey to thank for that. They've done a 180 as far as their professional appearance is concerned.
IMO these photos portray a professional team with a serious product, not just a gimmick. There's a nice case on the table for transporting the product as well as literature about the product. All very professional.
Great job Harvey!
