I posted this in early November. Apparently nobody bothered to read it because there was no comment.

"Official reply from ####### states: "The JCSD effort morphed into a "Multi Mission Multi Threat Detector (M3TD) Technology Evaluation" to provide a broader look at threats and technologies. The evaluation program is under review at the JPEO CBD and awaiting approval. Once approved, results of the 18 month evaluation will identify candidate technologies for military utility in various missions (contact and non-contact) supporting the Next Generation Chemical Point Detector and other platform payload requirements as well as any additional mission capabilities identified."
