I sent General Mark A. Milley the box my SFOR Mobile Trust came in with the letter in Post # 98044 via Priority Mail for his (let's face it his staff officer's examination. How do I know this? I did a Pentagon tour of duty) All correspondence to the Generals or Admirals of the JCS was sent via Priority mail to underscore the urgency of the COMSEC issue raised by General Ben Hodges. It paid off in the Pentagon mailroom. I recently got a call from the Pentagon. I will share the background and good results of that conversation with you next week. Have a great weekend!
It's good to be back. But as you'll soon read I wrote 8 letters to Pentagon officials & the POTUS promoting SFOR's Mobile Trust COMSEC solution in the 8 weeks I was not here. I believe you'll find the response I got to be very interesting indeed! I'll post that next week. First I must inform readers of the 8 points of contact which generated it.
I agree that SFOR's Mobile Trust is just what our troops need to help protect them. But, they need your help getting it on their mobile devices. Please consider contacting the President and your members of Congress about doing so. Thanks!
I encourage you to support the troops by communicating with your members of Congress as I have. Inform them of the SFOR Mobile Trust solution to General Hodges COMSEC problem. Ask them to help get this defensive military grade software on their issue mobile devices. This will prevent their exploitation by hostile intelligence services. COMSEC helps save soldiers lives. Ask any combat vet! I informed our CEO Mark Kay I was doing this. Not only did he approve of my actions but he told me he went to his Representative's office in N.J. regarding this COMSEC problem and the SFOR solution. If we shareholders do this we can help our country, our company and ourselves.
I know our product has been selling outside of the United States.
I do not have access to international sales figures. Recently SFOR hired an individual tasked with business development & I assume international sales are part of his area of responsibility.
I like you expect to have info like that when the next Q comes out which I believe will be the third week of November. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
That's true but just 2 factor is not enough for a tactical environment. The Army needs the best multi-layered defense & anti-screen capture capabilities in addition to military grade keystroke encryption. If you read the Mobile Trust version 3 product information you'll see just how good SFOR's Mobile Trust is. Our troops deserve the best. According to "Silicon Review" Mobile Trust is it.
Dear General Mark A. Milley Army Chief of Staff (4-star). Honoring the Chain of Command I wrote him next as he is Lt/General Ben Hodges boss at the Pentagon. Since US Army Europe Commander General Hodges raised the alarm during exercise Anaconda that "I assume everything I write on my BlackBerry is being monitored" and Neither (unclassified) radio communications nor e-mail are secure." I initially stayed within Army channels. The content of my letter was essentially what I posted in message # 98044 with an Army slant. If you are a US Army vet reading this consider writing him about SFOR's Mobile Trust COMSEC solution as I did. In the lower left hand corner of your envelope write Attn: General Mark A. Milley the address is:
Joint Staff Public Affairs 9999 Joint Staff Pentagon Room 2D932 Washington, D.C. 20318-9999
As a vet your opinion is valued. Please consider supporting the troops who have taken our place. Help get them SFOR's military grade Mobile Trust to protect their mobile devices from exploitation by hostile intelligence services. Go ARMY! Go SFOR!
People are trained not to broadcast classified in the clear. However, you're absolutely right, mistakes are sometimes made.
You are also right again that those new I-phones the military is purchasing to issue have nothing but the manufactures inadequate defenses. That's why our troops need SFOR's Mobile Trust!
General Hodges, Read of your COMSEC concern during Anaconda. Mobile Trust may be the solution. Major Sleddogs USAF Retired former EUCOM member. That was all I could include in the note that accompanied the package of SFOR's Mobile Trust I sent to him via Amazon Prime at HQ/U.S. Army Europe in Wiesbaden Germany.
That was over two months ago. The package was delivered and never sent back to me. What I believe happened was this. Since I knew the right address it got there and landed on the desk of his Executive Support Officer who opened it & read the note. The Colonel then pulled my service record from the retirement section at ARPC Denver, CO to verify I was who and what I wrote I was. He then examined the package & its contents and informed his boss.
The task of verifying legitimacy, installing the software on a mobile device & trying it out would fall to a junior officer in Division Comms. His chief of Comms would have already had a staff officer researching a fix to the COMSEC problem highlighted by the General in the June AFN interview during Anaconda in Poland.
I did this to increase product awareness at the level of the issue out of respect for the chain of command. Continuing up that chain, as advised by my Congressman's senior staffer, I then wrote his boss. That is General (4-star) Mark A. Milley, Chief of Staff, United States Army at the Pentagon. I then informed our CEO Mark Kay. He understands my professional concern regarding COMSEC/OPSEC and appreciated my efforts to get our troops SFOR's military grade Mobile Trust defensive software.
The difference is that the info you wrote of is not real-time operational info that can be exploited by hostile intelligence services in a tactical way. What field COMSEC does is to enhance OPSEC during ongoing operations. The bottom line is that COMSEC saves lives in conflict. Ask any combat vet. SFOR's defensive software can help save the lives of our soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines.
That concludes this briefing it was unclassified. Are there any questions? So ended my last presentation on SFOR's Mobile Trust being the solution to Lt/General Ben Hodges COMSEC problem. My audience was the senior field staffer for Congressman Bruce Poliquin, Tim Gallant a retired USN CPO. "Major sleddogs, I think you should contact the Chiefs about this" Are you serious? "Yes, it's a matter of national security they should be made aware of."
This advice blindsided me! All my military career I stuck to the chain of command. But here is a retired Chief Petty Officer and senior field staffer who knows how Washington works advising me to go straight to the top. O.K. Chief, I'll do it! So began my letter writing campaign to get Mobile Trust on the mobile devices of every soldier, sailor, airman and marine. It started, as you saw still honoring chain of command protocol with Major General James Marrs the J-2 for the DOD (please see message #98044) since the exploitation of bad COMSEC by hostile intelligence services is an intel matter. It ended in the west wing office of the Commander In Chief, President Obama & the encouraging response I got from the Pentagon. I shall detail all this over the next few days.
Dear Major General James Marrs, (DOD/IN)
I’m writing you at the urging of my Congressman Poliquin’s senior field staffer Tim Gallant, a retired USN CPO.
As a retired USAF intelligence officer & EUCOM member I was alarmed when I read Army Lt/Gen Ben Hodges AFN interview in Poland during NATO’s Operation Anaconda field exercise in June. In it he stated “Neither (unclassified) radio communications nor email are secure” & “I assume everything I write on my BlackBerry is being monitored”. I believe he’s absolutely right! This COMSEC problem can become an OPSEC one with dire consequences in the near future. Even mission failure is a possibility.
As you are aware, off the shelf mobile devices have inadequate protection against cyber-attack and exploitation by hostile intelligence services. Enemy targets intelligence officers can use our bad COMSEC to help build their target folders. Fleeting targets of opportunity could also be located and destroyed by them using this.
This winter I became concerned about protecting my personal information & financial information from hackers. I found out that the available anti-virus programs fail to protect my data against the zero day attacks, key loggers and click jackers use. I wanted the best, multi-layered defense & anti-screen capture capabilities. I read that “Silicon Review” recognized Strike Force Technologies as the world’s leading provider of patented, military grade keystroke encryption, out of band authentication and 2 factor authentication. I purchased their defensive software on-line through Amazon & installed their Mobile Trust product on my mobile device.
Mobile Trust is now being sold in half of the Target stores nationwide. It was easy to install, costs $30 a year for two I-phones, does not slow things down or cause any other problems. In full disclosure, I was so impressed with the product I then bought 2 million shares of SFOR sub-penny stock. I did this shortly after Strike Force Technologies settled with Microsoft over patent infringement in late January. Now that I have initiated contact with you and other government officials, using my retired rank and specialty, I am forbidden by the honor code to add to that 2 million share position. My Senator, Angus King who sits on the Senate intelligence sub- committee stated “The next Pearl Harbor will be cyber”. Don’t let DOD people’s mobile devices enable that! Please consider getting them some vendor’s defensive software to fix this tremendous COMSEC problem. I don’t even care if it’s Strike Force Technologies Mobile Trust! There are other vendor’s defensive software to consider. This country’s soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines deserve something better than just the standard consumer encryption Apple provides their I-Phone 6s. It is nowhere near the level of protection they need!
Realizing the gravity of this COMSEC problem, I have briefed the senior field staff of the entire Maine Congressional delegation. I was informed by Michelle Michaud, staff assistant to Senator Susan Collins, who sits on the Senate Armed Services Committee that the delegation will jointly address this issue. I also wrote POTUS.
Thank you for considering proposing this to be considered for the DOD budget. If I can be of any further service to you in this matter please don’t hesitate to call me at home and cell phone numbers written as was my address.
Regards,
Major 4sleddogs USAF Retired
Thanks for clearing the air once and for all! The SEC documentation you posted cannot be disputed.
Mark Kay has always been a straight shooter with us! We stockholders are fortunate to have a CEO as experienced, honorable and competent as he is.
Regarding that accumulation line that I've been watching to, can you say Singapore Telecom! IMHO.
Smart move IMHO Wolfe. With what could transpire in court 8/11 one would be foolhardy to jump the SFOR ship now for a modest profit.
There's one 11/8 scenario I would like to add to your excellent piece. That is Singapore Telecom buying shares at these depressed prices at the last minute. A lot of shares! In fact so many, they walk into court in a position of strength having 51% of SFOR's shares. Case dismissed with a healthy profit for us! What do you think? Could this happen? Or would the number of preferred shares force them to purchase even more common at the last minute skyrocketing the pps but still being chump change for the likes of Singapore Telecom.
Strong advice from my Senator's senior staff assistant 8/4/16
When Tim Gallant (a retired USN Chief) suggested I get in contact with the chiefs initially I thought he was joking. He wasn't! Due to the 1 October FY '17 Federal Budget release date he stressed time was short to get new appropriations in. He told me to bring the idea of Mobile Trust being pre-loaded on all those soon to be issued DOD I-Phone 6s to the attention of the highest level in the military. Yes, he was speaking of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, not their civilian bosses the civilian Secretaries. Also, bring the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs into the loop. O.K. Tim, you're not only a military retiree but you are now a beltway insider.
So, I'm going to follow his advice and contact them. I urge any fellow citizen concerned about the COMSEC problem highlighted by Lt/Gen Ben Hodges during NATO exercise Anaconda in Poland this June to do likewise at your earliest convenience. Especially, if you're a vet like me!
Best Congressional Office Visit Yet! On the urging of Pamela J. Trinward field representative for my US Congresswoman I scheduled a meeting with the senior staffer of another Congressman. I did this even though I am not in his district. Pam wanted me to brief him on this COMSEC matter of national security. She wanted the entire State delegation to be aware of Lt/Gen Ben Hodges concerns, their implications for OPSEC and possible solution, Mobile Trust. Needless to say I complied with her request. As usual I first called and had the college office intern pull the articles on General Hodges concerns voiced during Anaconda, the ARMY PR regarding the change from Androids to I-Phone 6s and of course, Strike Force Technologies Mobile Trust. Once more I left in the early morning to travel to the other end of the State. I arrived after lunch and was well received. I was introduced to Tim Gallant the senior staff assistant. Once he said he was a retired Navy Chief I knew we were on the same page! He had read the materials the office intern pulled so I could dispense with reviewing the basics. His questions were deep. My answers detailed. I mentioned that My Senator on the select sub-committee for Intelligence has a USN intelligence officer assigned to his staff. He told me he would contact him directly. Our CEO Mark Kay also contacted that office by telephone this AM and arranged a phone conference with the senior policy advisor in two weeks. This will be to research options such as Mobile Trust to solve the Armed Services COMSEC problem with those I-Phone 6s being issued to soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines. Know that our CEO is on top of & working this issue. I'm tired & going to bed.
Artmanic I do not have PM ability so am partially answering you here. Another poster will have to fill in the details as they did previously. Yes, the definitive agreement cited by Stargazer 1945
back in 2015 between Trustwave Holdings and Singapore Telecom was completed. That deal was consummated and another poster here provided the details and dollar amt. (If you're reading this please repost, thanks!) I see this as a repeat of the situation of Microsoft having acquired Phone Factor also acquired our patent
infringment lawsuit. Mr. Wolf our lead attorney must think the same since he's litigating this and the other two cases on a contingency basis. His strategy is simple and effective. Wash, rinse, repeat!
Part 2 Phone Conversation with D.C. senior policy staffer. (Sorry for the delay, responding to people's e-mails here) Anyway, while reviewing our product literature (Mobile Trust) as a potential solution to the military issue I-Phone 6s security gap I cited the Silicon Review. It recognizes SFOR as the world's leading provider of keystroke encryption, out of band authentication and 2 factor authentication. He started to ask IT questions I was out of my depth to answer as a plain vanilla intelligence officer. I did not serve in US Cyber Command. We agreed that the geeks must be brought in to the discussion. I asked him to go to horses mouth, call the company directly & speak to Ram because at that point I was feeling unqualified to continue the discussion. He appreciated my candor & not trying to fake it. He said there was a USN intelligence officer on duty there since my Senator is on the Senate select sub-committee for intelligence. No, I don't know the officer. I said great! If anyone knows the COMSEC/OPSEC implications it's him. The staffer assured me that the officer would be assigned the task to research this issue & produce a report on possible solutions to the problem. I'm confident Mobile Trust will be considered. Tomorrow I'm off to the last congressman's office in my state. Although he doesn't represent me the staffer at my reps office strongly encouraged me to go so "the entire delegation is made aware of this COMSEC/National Security issue".
I will report results of that meeting to you all upon my return.
O.K. as a fellow blue suiter I appeal for your help here. My son-in-law recently deployed with his AF Reserve unit. In the equipment line he was issued, you guessed it, a brand new I-Phone6 without a protective package like Mobile Trust. Please help our Air Force. Contact your Representative & Senator about this issue. Together our voice of concern can get through to the decision makers.
Sorry Judy but due to the possible classified nature of this subject I cannot dare to answer your question. I could actually get in official trouble addressing it and worse yet endanger our troops. That I will not do. Please understand. But I think you now understand why I am so desperate for them to get some sort of key logger protection & encryption package. Even if it's not SFOR's Mobile Trust! There exists a chink in the COMSEC armor highlighted by US Army Europe's Commander Lt/Gen Hodges. With God's help it will be plugged.
I think you're spot on with that analysis. I concur with you that the behind the scenes SFOR pps manipulator is offshore
(read CHINA!). I hate those Chicoms don't you? Then again old tiger has an ax to grind with the communists. When a cub, old tiger was told by Elonka, his Hungarian grandmother, of the '56 revolt "When we kicked the Russians out!". She informed him of her people's longing for freedom and how they were crushed under the treads of Russian tanks. Also his Romanian grandmother told him of the loss of he family farm to forced collectivization when the commies came and loss of her niece to a forced labor camp.
I hate communists!
This old airman would like to add another possible organizational name to the list of manipulators of the SFOR pps. That is the Peoples Liberation Army of Communist China. IMHO their agent or agents based out of Shanghai and/or CONUS as graduate students will try to hinder SFOR by pps manipulation. They want SFOR to dry up and blow away. They do not like the possibility of our military grade Mobile Trust winding up on hundreds of thousands of soon to be issued I-Phone 6s. They realize Mobile Trust on them seals the chink in our COMSEC armor that they can exploit. Unit 61398 known as the "Comment Crew" is not stupid. I believe a member or members are active on this message board now. We cannot allow them to prevail!
Part 1: I had a good phone call yesterday with a DC office senior staffer
for my Senator. My Senator sits on the Senate select sub-committee for intelligence. When I called he had pulled my service record. He knew who/what he was talking to. He also had the articles I requested he read previous to our scheduled call.
They were: the June AFN interview of Lt/Gen Hodges taken during the Anaconda NATO field exercise in Poland where he said "I assume everything I write on my Black Berry is being monitored" and "Neither radio communications nor e-mails are secure". and the PR that the US Army is switching from Androids to I phone 6s in FY '17.
I was pleased he pulled Strike Force's Mobile Trust information as we spoke for reference. In short order, with my briefing, he fully realized the implications of the Army's potential massive COMSEC problem. He had no doubt as to the potential OPSEC disaster in waiting leading to possible mission failure. Realizing the gravity of the situation of our military members texting without zero-day key logger protection and encryption he
informed me of his plan to address the situation.
No Volcano SFOR investors are not naive. It was you who were crying the other day after exploding theon the SFOR message board. Did the domestic security guys in the upper floors of the Shanghai based cyber unit in the heavily guarded 12 floor military tower near the airport hassle you? I'm so sorry their internet sniffers picked up those nasty red flags on your account
(NOT!). Did they haul you in front of Colonel Sun Kailang and demand an explanation? Did your comrades in Unit 61398 known as the Comment Crew throw rice balls and hurl green tea at you in the cafeteria during lunch? Is your junior Comint officers uniform
now stained and in need of dry cleaning? How sad. Sadder still that you and your comrades are failing in your mission to prevent SFOR's Mobile Trust from being considered for installation on our military's soon to be issued (FY '17) I-Phone 6s. You'll know more when I post details of the good conversation I had with a senior policy staffer in Washing D.C. yesterday. Know that his Senator sits on the Senate select sub-committee for intelligence. Until then I hope you develop large armpit stains on your little Mao suit. I've got to tell you Volcano that Old tiger enjoys batting you to & fro between his paws. It helps keep his claws sharp!
I see a huge red on the board also Volcano, you, not SFOR. Did this vison of a negative pps closing come to you while your were doing your Tibetan Buddhist meditative chanting in front of the picture of His Holiness the Dali Lama you have on the alter in your bedroom? Or did this come to you while doing your exercises in the forest with your Falong Gong group. Inquiring minds would like to know.
Wow slam4202! I sincerely hope you're right. But, could you please share why you think the pps will be so high so quickly? I was thinking it might get there after the 3rd Q results (with summer sales figures) are released in the third week of November.
I am in perfect agreement with you regarding SFOR. However, I ask you not to take the Lord's name in vain on this message board. The Almighty does not take kindly to that (it says so in the Bible) so you might want to exercise caution in regards to this matter. Thank you for your consideration.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the January MSFT settlement gave SFOR two years of operating capital.
IMHO you're wrong. It's not a small fund. I believe it is Singapore Telecom! As you'll recall SFOR is suing Trustwave Holdings for patent infringement. Back in 2015 there was a definitive agreement for them to be acquired by Singapore Telecom.
It is now a done deal. They of course are a venerable 130 year old company which happens to be Asia's leading communications group. Take a peek at their assets, they have deep pockets! You are also aware of the 11 August face the music court appearance where our lead lawyer Mr. Wolfe from Blank Rome is waiting to pounce. I believe SingTel has been quietly accumulating shares in preparation for this to lessen the cost of a possible buyout. Or, place them in a greenmail position where they walk into court in possession of 51% of our company's shares and have the court case consequently dismissed. What do you think? Am I out in left field on this? All I know for certain is that all will be revealed during that 11 August court appearance. I'm not selling my shares. Are you?
Good phone call with Mr. Mark Kay CEO Strike Force Technologies this AM 8/3/16.
He is once again leading by example. Due to NJ being such a densely populated state (in comparison to mine) he has had to wait patiently for return phone calls from busy Congressional field staffers. His phone calls have now been returned and Mobile Trust presentations scheduled. Mark will stress Mobile Trust is the COMSEC solution Commanders such as Lt/Gen Ben Hodges US Army Europe are looking for as noted in his AFN interview in Poland during June's NATO Field Exercise Anaconda. Let's wish Mark great success and God's speed! Also during the phone call I updated him as to my most recent Governmental office visits/communications. He thanked me for my efforts and hopes others are doing the same as I am. Go ARMY! go SFOR!
Minuteman MX as a fellow blue-suiter I ask you to forgive me with the revision of the last stanza of our song due to SFOR's recent pps move North. "We live in fame, go down in flames (God forbid!)
Nothing can stop our company Strike Force!" Insert victory roll here.
It was a simple code Moeclay. I will not lie, cheat or steal or tolerate those who do. I've tried my best to live by it. Not mentioning SFORs competitors would be cheating in my eyes.
JFK forgive me but OTC Penny King I must request you to ask not what SFOR can do for you but what you can do for SFOR and our troops.
Reread my posts where I address FELLOW SFOR investors. But to be honest, I don't care whose key logger protection and encryption gets on those Army I-Phones! Due to the honor code I ascribed to as a cadet I am compelled to mention our competitors as other possible solutions to General Hodges COMSEC problem and I do so.
Consequently, this will cause the US Army to try before buy, a Pentagon purchasing policy. (I did 1 tour of duty there) I believe we have the best product that will stand on its own merits and win that contract. Time will tell.
baldeagle1 I think you are a fellow believer. I carried the Gideon's NT/Psalms in my field jacket pocket for 20 yrs (gave a couple away) & small flat cross between my dog tags. The Officers Christian Fellowship was a blessing throughout my career. I posted earlier about Putin being in league with the devil & my flat tire episode hampering travel to a Congressman's office to promote the SFOR solution to General Hodges COMSEC problem. As a brother I ask you to pray for travel mercies for me later this week as I do so again. Thanks!
slam4202 I don't have PM ability either. Just to get access to internet I have to travel out of the woods to a local library that has limited hours and is closed Sundays. If you reread my postings about my visits you will see: General Hodges has a COMSEC problem, US Army is going to issue I-Phone 6s to all its soldiers without any zero-day key logger protection or encryption.
This portends to be an epic military COMSEC disaster with the next conflict which will lead to OPSEC problems causing the unnecessary deaths of lots of our troops and possible mission failure. SFOR can help prevent that with Mobile Trust because COMSEC saves soldiers lives. That concludes your briefing, it was unclassified, are there any questions?
pmello3 thanks for the applause but what I'd really appreciate is some help here! Call/e-mail the President like I did, communicate with your Federal Government Reps & Senators on the troops & SFOR's behalf. Together, I believe we can create the reality of an Army contract at least for beta testing say 30,000 Mobile Trust units being sold to General Hodges US Army Europe.
