Part 2 Phone Conversation with D.C. senior policy staffer. (Sorry for the delay, responding to people's e-mails here) Anyway, while reviewing our product literature (Mobile Trust) as a potential solution to the military issue I-Phone 6s security gap I cited the Silicon Review. It recognizes SFOR as the world's leading provider of keystroke encryption, out of band authentication and 2 factor authentication. He started to ask IT questions I was out of my depth to answer as a plain vanilla intelligence officer. I did not serve in US Cyber Command. We agreed that the geeks must be brought in to the discussion. I asked him to go to horses mouth, call the company directly & speak to Ram because at that point I was feeling unqualified to continue the discussion. He appreciated my candor & not trying to fake it. He said there was a USN intelligence officer on duty there since my Senator is on the Senate select sub-committee for intelligence. No, I don't know the officer. I said great! If anyone knows the COMSEC/OPSEC implications it's him. The staffer assured me that the officer would be assigned the task to research this issue & produce a report on possible solutions to the problem. I'm confident Mobile Trust will be considered. Tomorrow I'm off to the last congressman's office in my state. Although he doesn't represent me the staffer at my reps office strongly encouraged me to go so "the entire delegation is made aware of this COMSEC/National Security issue".
I will report results of that meeting to you all upon my return.
