Strong advice from my Senator's senior staff assistant 8/4/16
When Tim Gallant (a retired USN Chief) suggested I get in contact with the chiefs initially I thought he was joking. He wasn't! Due to the 1 October FY '17 Federal Budget release date he stressed time was short to get new appropriations in. He told me to bring the idea of Mobile Trust being pre-loaded on all those soon to be issued DOD I-Phone 6s to the attention of the highest level in the military. Yes, he was speaking of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, not their civilian bosses the civilian Secretaries. Also, bring the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs into the loop. O.K. Tim, you're not only a military retiree but you are now a beltway insider.
So, I'm going to follow his advice and contact them. I urge any fellow citizen concerned about the COMSEC problem highlighted by Lt/Gen Ben Hodges during NATO exercise Anaconda in Poland this June to do likewise at your earliest convenience. Especially, if you're a vet like me!
