Troy201090, I always like looking at the negatives on a stock to ascertain its downside. After reading most of the posts on the board, the stock showed some value.
I would like to thank you for bringing potential weaknesses before the board for review. After reading your posts and the rebuttals, I purchased stock today. You really need to refine your bashing techniques a bit, you're posts are coming off edgy and you appear to be almost angry. Keep refining your style, you'll get there.
For anyone looking to get in, a seller is there and has shares. I put in a bid thinking a wait of hours or even days would be required to get all shares with a 3 cent spread. Using Ameritrade, the bid/ask showed .17/.20 and volume was only 5k at the time. It took just seconds, I have never purchased a stock on bid any faster.
Interesting stock,

For those who don't use Yahoo, this is currently on the front page. An article concerning alternative power such as wind or solar must also include LFG, all are environmentally friendly. You can see and feel the interest an acquantance has when you describe LFG to them and they ask for the ticker.

CHICAGO (Reuters) - A perfect storm of high energy prices, government subsidies and renewed interest from Wall Street is boosting investment in wind, solar and other alternative energy projects, said fund managers and other experts on Monday at a conference on renewable energy.
"This is the best time to think about energy technology whether you're a large equity fund, trying to get money for a company you're running or to make returns in the stock market," said Philip Deutch, managing partner of NGP Energy Technology Partners, a $150 million private equity investment fund.
Well known investors such as Goldman Sachs Group Inc., the Carlyle Group and Berkshire Hathaway Inc. have all made recent investments in wind and solar power, Deutch told about 75 people attending the conference in Chicago sponsored by Platts, an energy industry publication.
And Microsoft Corp. Chairman Bill Gates and venture capitalist Vinod Khosla are investing in ethanol.
Recent public offerings by SunPower Corp., a California-based maker of solar panels, and Q-Cells, a German maker of solar cells, have also caught the attention of investors.
But alternative energy is not without risk, primarily due to rapid changes in technology and volatile commodity prices, Deutch said.
He pointed to the fall in share prices of fuel-cell maker Plug Power Inc. and Capstone Turbine Corp., a producer of low-emission microturbines.
"Both these stocks have traded down almost to the single digits," he said. "Energy technology is not new and it is often overpromised. One has to enter this area with some humbleness and think about how quickly change occurs."
Despite the risks, the sector is gaining popularity with venture capitalists, said James Greenberger, partner at Chicago law firm Sachnoff & Weaver, which caters to venture and private equity firms.
Total venture capital between 2002 and 2005 has remained fairly stagnant at between $18 billion and $22 billion. However, the percentage invested in energy technology has risen from 2.7 percent in 2002 to 4.2 percent in 2005, he said.
"Clearly, something is going on," Greenberger said.
In the U.S. Midwest, ethanol and wind farms have received the most attention from investors.
Last year, U.S. ethanol production reached a record 3.9 billion gallons, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration. There are 97 ethanol plants operating and another 33 under construction and nine being expanded, according to the Renewable Fuels Association.
In 2005, U.S. wind generating capacity jumping 35 percent as companies invested $3 billion to bring an additional 2,400 megawatts online.
This year, capacity is expected to grow by another 3,000 megawatts, said the American Wind Energy Association, a trade group in Washington.
Peorge, AURC is drifting down, IMO it is much like PBLS in many ways. Some market maker manipulation (SHO list), some holders selling as it weakens and lack of news/follow through from management. Sound familiar? Obviously with much smaller volume and O/S it moves more rapidly.
POSITIVES:
*President has 25 years of experience as an Attorney and would be foolish beyond belief to risk his reputation and career on a hoax.
*Sarbanes Oxley stares seasoned Attorney Gerald Parkin in the face if he plays fun and games.
*ASM Top-Audit is one of the worlds largest Accounting firms and has/will provide verification of mineral assets and Financials.
*Approx. 7.1 million oz. of gold and 35 million oz. of silver, most of which is "proven".
*Mr. Parkin, the President has stated that much larger entities have made contact concerning a partnership/buyout based on the quantity of mineral reserves. He claims AURC is interested and will pursue such an alignment.
*Inexpensive and trained labor force in place and ready to go.
*Prior mining existed in several locations and production is purportedly currently happening on a small scale.
*Probably a small outstanding share base. We are waiting for into on the last mineral purchase. Many shares are series 144.
*Much like PBLS, we have many terrific individuals that are successful, intelligent, friendly and goal driven.
NEGATIVES:
*Management is understaffed, unproven and behind on promises to provide an active website, weekly updates and current financials.
*Location, Siberia area it is intensely cold and remote, limiting access and year round mining. (They want to go subterranean in the future).
*You can cost in about $100,000,000 in capital expenses per several locations to allow for infrastructure fabrication and equipment to reach mining objectives.
*The stock has naked shorts and has been on the SHO list for weeks.
IMO, this is a stock that has upside potential of perhaps several dollars per share. At the current price is obviously has little downside with a small holding. Some of our larger shareholders, Westeffer, rrufff, Benz, Treepeople, 2create and others are very astute successful investors. They have picked and held other strong stocks in the past. Management is the key to the future success. This stock has more "potential" than PBLS imo. Please fly to Canada and kick them in the butt.

Low, I'll throw in a grand. I'm not real happy right now but I'll do it. I get another stock to pop and get some additional funds and what happens as I exercise great constraint while waiting for CTUM to back up? Other people realize the value and push the price back up.
For Jagmans sake, I was hoping once, just once he would be right about the direction of this stock. But noooooo, he keeps his record at 0% and I have to get less for more.
For the record, I did not sell into this last rally but do want some shares for trading. I don't dare sell any core postiion. Today illustrates why.
Miffed,

Lowman, I for very selfish reasons hope this retraces some. I'm no technician, but it is very backing up very slowly under small volume. Some smaller flippers appear to be heading elsewhere. That is good. A consolidation like the last one will provide another step from which to rise. I now have some funds from other securities that can provide a 50% larger position and a lower cost would certainly make that less expensive to obtain.
Regarding Jagman, he is contra-indicator. A personal observation is, he doesn’t bash poor stocks, only quality stocks. Not to divert anyone’s attention from CTUM but he has gone after ALMI and BIPH when I held those. Both were well over ten baggers also and have bright futures IMO. I haven’t done it yet but I’ve have been tempted to check his history to see what other stocks he downplays. He could be a good source for finding other securities to buy. Yes he’s anti-social, yea he’s abrasive, and continually wrong, but he could serve a vital function in possibly confirming you have picked a quality stock.

LaDamian Thompson to get right knee Scoped................. (Not true) How many of us understand the meaning of that first sentence? The word Scoped is part of our every day vernacular. Thirty years ago as a young man that grew up prior to Orthoscopic Surgery, I watched many a friend get a minor injury but receive a major surgery, ending all athletic dreams. The concept of making a small incision, running a bundle of optic fibers attached to a small lens, and accompanying it by a laser or small cutting device to perform a tissue repair was dumbfounding and impossible.
Today as some of the local College or Pro athletes are injured with small tears, detachments or cleanup requirements, they get “Scoped”. I would wager 90 plus percent of you understand what “scoped” infers. It is a common procedure, for common folks, and a common part of our language. My father, a common man, had a knee Scope twenty years ago. Do you think the folks that invented and patented and invested in Scoping made some sheckels?
Where will Tissue Welding sit historically? I told a good friend about the technology yesterday. He said it sounded like a Star Trek episode. In thirty years it will sit in the same realm as Scoped. This is an historic procedure IMO. No infection, no scar, less healing time, no allergic reactions, no stitches and more capable internally. Worldwide rights? Yea. Yes, this is a story stock. But only the “short” sighted don’t realize where this is headed. In five years it will be an extreme value play. Oh, there is also the LFG thrown in for fun.

Sometimes, give Mr. Parkin a five minute call. He is usually a little tentative at first but warms up and is an easy conversation. Tell him of your concerns. He hears them from me every two weeks but it would be beneficial to get input from you and others. If he knows enough loyal holders are nervous or upside down, he may make a pre-empive move. It's worth a shot. I would love to hear your side of a conversation with him.

West, this is disappointing to see drop to these levels but I'm not going anywhere. Once I feel it has stablized, I buy more. I remember buying 70K at 7.51 and being very irked I didn't get a comlete fill.
OT FROM THIS POINT ON
CTUM has been very good for me. Entry .048 and all shares now paid in full. AURC and CTUM are my faves right now with EMFP a strong follower. Bird flu will be huge and their mask is by far the best. I also think PBLS will finish basing this spring and have a nice run. Love energy stocks.
I find the best way to be patient is to forget about a stock I like, own and have over studied. CTUM and EMFP have done that for me. I have had a great week with the exception being AURC. Also got some SPZI several days back. They present their options platform late next week and I expect a run.
Been very nice kicking around with you this week. I read alot of your posts and weigh what you are saying. You are one from whom I watch and learn. Thank you,
Airdale
Bobs, obviously someone agrees with you. Selling is still an option for you even now. From my angle, it gets a little old watching people worry out loud every day on a message board. I personally use these boards to read the insights of posters I have grown to respect, they often offer information that provides an eduction. Selfishly, it becomes a waste of time IMO reading about what our CEO is having for lunch, this is a pos, or what tics the stock is making on a minute by minute basis. But, I suppose all of the above are what makes a message board.
The reason I call AURC every two weeks is to be proactive in ascertaining the feel and direction of the stoc from people involved in the operation. I also get insecurites about stocks if I don't. If you don't feel good about the stock and consider it a piece, it is your money, preserve what you can and find a better stock.
Best of luck to you,
Airdale
Low and Skid, I'm more than happy with the thought of leasing the product. That's why cars are leased, there is far more money in renting someone a car, ensuring low mileage and condition with a contract and then selling it within a certain timeframe. Initially, it takes far more capital without the immediate infusion of cash a one time sale generates. This probably guarentees we will need a large partner(s), to provide this large infusion of cash. We will give up a portion of the revenue but in return get the capital, immediate name recognition, power to push the FDA, (or other regulatory agencies worldwide) instant market penetration capability, and a healthy boost in stock appreciation. I would hope a group of partners with regional strengths will become a reality. Next week would also do. (;^)

If you have more info than I do on any issues I bring up, feel free to correct me. I am simply trying to take peak into our future.
That being said, I don’t think any Tissue Welding Equipment will ever be sold outside the U.S. The U.S. allows patents on Medical Processes but most countries including Canada and Western Europe do not. Therefore, to earn royalties, the equipment will be leased IMHO. Here is why I believe this:
This article from the World Medical Association talks about Patents for Medical Processes. This is exclusive to the U.S. CTUM’s tissue welding application and equipment could both be a billable items.
http://www.wma.net/e/policy/m30.htm
Article on an Inventing Physician that has Patented and enforced a Medical Procedure. There is no device involved and he is still earning revenue. One would imagine having a device only strengthens the revenue process.
http://cache.technologyreview.com/articles/98/03/shulman0398.asp?p=1
An article that details an eye operating procedure that parallels CTUM in many aspects. No scaring, and probably the lease of the Doctor, equipment and procedure.
http://www.pbs.org/newshour/bb/health/patent_4-23.html
Article detailing how the U.S. is mostly alone in allowing Patents for Medical Process’s. Europe, Canada and 80 countries disallow the Patent process and therefore royalties. Sounds to me like the equipment will get very expensive to LEASE in those countries.
Patent Opponents
Historically, the medical profession has considered patents on medical inventions as contrary to the philanthropic nature of the physician's practice. Almost 80 foreign countries, including Canada, Britain, and most countries in Europe, currently ban medical procedure patents.
The patent system in the United States has its origins in the U.S. Constitution. The constitutionally mandated goal is to promote "the progress of science and the useful arts." Congress implemented this directive by granting a 17-year monopoly to inventors who disclose their discoveries. Although it grants a legal monopoly exempt from antitrust constraints, the patent system serves the public interest by creating economic incentives for the development and disclosure of new technology and for investment and innovation. Many new techniques would not exist without the promise of patent protection. The social and economic benefits of granting a legal monopoly, therefore, may well outweigh the costs. Alternatively, many procedures would have been developed even if a patent were not available, and the monopoly price may not be justifiable.
The American Medical Association (AMA) House of Delegates voted in 1994 to oppose the practice of medical and surgical procedure patents as unethical. The patent system, to the extent "it keeps new procedures secret for long periods of time and limits free access to information that improves patient care," according to Nancy Dickey, M.D., on behalf of the AMA Board of Trustees, conflicts with the principles of the Hippocratic Oath, which calls upon physicians to share their expertise freely and to teach their colleagues for the benefit of patients. The House of Delegates viewed the method patent trend as contrary to the medical tradition of an open exchange of information without the expectation of financial reward and expressed concern that it might have a chilling effect on medical practice and education.

West, I read that and have one more reason for owning this baby, thanks.
I see the larger income base being Tissue Welding over Landfill Gas Plants. The rights for welding are worldwide versus North America, welding will revolutionize surgery and have tens of thousands of potential applications versus probably dozens in the near future. The cost of startup equipment is far lower for welding. Build time for surgical instruments versus a gas plant, much less. Gas has the head start but welding is coming on fast.
I have been trying to ascertain the royalties on every operation performed. Here is what I believe is the going rate for Medical Royalties:
MRI safety and image compatibility and covers multiple product lines including vascular implants, catheters, guidewires, and implantable devices, with royalties ranging from 3% to 5% and multi-million dollar milestone payments on some products.
When CTUM names a partner, we will move much like BIPH they did when they teamed with Boston Scientific.

West, if wish I had half your knowledge about driving stocks and 1/10 your assets. Nice job today bringing your well heeled friends in on this.
The story on this stock is just beginning to unfold. One mention of going for FDA approval, one more gas contract, one PR about a partner for Tissue Welding and this is again in full motion. Tomorrow could be another explosion.

Thank you Penny and Noth. I have a larger percent of assets tied up in this than I should and am standing pat. Many "investors" are in such a hurry to make money, they don't have the patience to wait for the huge gains. This stock will be very frustrating for us at times, much like the last several weeks. However, With the small float it will move rapidly both directions.
If Mr. Parkin were to announce a partnership/buyout with a well known entity, this would blast off like a rocket. Personally, if a buyout were to occur, I would want to wait for at least a year from last January. Long term capital gains will be in place by then. I also expect the price of Gold and especially Silver to be at higher levels at that time. More money for our pockets
Best of luck to you both,

Gee Bobs, exactly what is the purpose of your last post? To call this a POS must mean you have some inside information. Please, bring it forth and share with the board, will you?
I just got off the phone with Mr. Parkin. Interesting to note his parents are from the Ukraine, (Russia at the time, sounds like a Wayne Gretzky story), they immigrated to Canada prior to his birth. Because of this he has maintained a casual interest in the Russia/Ukraine area.
He is fully aware of the costs involved in purchasing equipment for each site. Priargunsky and Salairskiy apparently have milling and smelting equipment sufficient for their needs. It will be bulldozers, draglines, trucks, and moving equipment that are needed. The Japanese are now entering the picture and may squeeze out the Germans.
He said financing equipment or partnership are very viable options for them. IMO a partnership will be reality not conjecture.
The release on basis given for the Klyon Maple mine will be forthcoming shortly.
You can hear the phone ringing in the background when talking with him far more frequently than the past several months. He is getting to be very busy. He has cut short my last several conversations for meetings. He mentioned that he would be working all weekend on the Website. I stated that they were very shorthanded, his retort, you realize I am funding the office costs and we are a bit short only here in Canada, the Russians not shorthanded.
He mentioned that most news presentation of Russia in the West is negative. He reiterated how easy the Gov’t is to work with and how his partner called the Russians punctilious. Very prompt with promises and honoring their “word” with actions.
I queried him regarding his feelings on being on the SHO list. He still has no worries. He said they didn’t want to artificially pump up the stock price until everything to sustain it was in place. When they start making announcements, the shorts will cover because of the value the company provides.
I remain very optimistic,
Airdale
Can anyone here provide a level II quote for me. TIA Airdale
I certainly concur with him. Your commentary is inane, pumping of your board with each post gratuitous, and apparently your stock picking horrendous. Thank you Creede.

The following is per Mr. Parkin. The Top-Audit NY office contacted him regarding this Russian gold play. (This sentence per me, some here, in frustration, speak disrespectfully of him but Top-Audit holds him in high esteem). Hence, they are working with multiple Top-Audit locations, NY and Moscow. Why the referral from Top-Audit? He has taken other companies public in the past. If Top-Audit has other private firms as clientele that want to go public, to whom do they turn? He has created an element of competency and trust with his Accountant. We could be aligned with a bigger player than we recognize.
Is he understaffed? Yes. Underfunded? Probably since he and a partner are footing part of the bill. I personally will give him some latitude and time to create this company. Could I be wrong? Absolutely, but I sure like the odds.
AIMHO

It may be puzzling to you or I, but we don't know what is going on in the background. IF a Barrick or Newmont were to partner or buyout AURC, they wouldn't be doing so based on our share price. It would be a transaction focused on making money, and that is 7.1 million ounces of AU and 35 million oz of AG. What would happen to a naked short if a buyout took place at $30 per ounce. It probably pushes the price toward the .75 per share mark and toasts an effort by a Hedge Fund to make a quick buck.
We can worry and stew over our current price or we can look at this security like the experienced TROPS. If the reserves are there and management is good, it will eventually reach its value.
Why would TOP-AUDIT allow their good name to be aligned with a small firm like AURC if they felt something was amiss?

Nice to see you here West. This stock has more potential than any I have seen for a while. When tissue welding becomes commonplace worldwide, this will generate huge revenue. Then there is the provincial little North American gassy thing.

This stock is very interesting with regard to timing. I bought intending to hold for a two year minimum, and that time element is still in place. However, several items can reduce that to almost nothing, those being a large name partner or a buyout. Also, Mr. Parkin knows the costs involved in procuring and placing equipment for each mine, as these costs are considerable. I know substantial firms have made contact with AURC but don't know the depth of serious discussion or the direction of intent. So, a two year hold stays in place with hope in the back of my mind that this could explode at any time. For me,one item reinforces the buyout/partner theory. Mr. Parkin has said he isn't worried about naked/legal shorting. If he is going after financing to build the infrastructure, a higher stock price would certainly enable him to obtain the monies far easier. But two years is still my plan.
I have placed two posts in the past regarding surface mining, the method they have employed in the past at Priargunsky and the Salairskiy. The intent is to prepare these areas this year for subteranean year round mining. On would assume Klyon would be the same.
AIMHO
Airdale
West and Benz, superb posts. All we have are the mineral rights at this point, lots of them. They still have to build an infrastructure and create the system to extract the ingots. Klyon is a start from scratch as it has absolutely nothing. Priargunsky and Salairskiy were mostly manual labor production setups.
Why is this stock so cheap?
Because it's such a long way down the road to large production. Only the patient will be rewarded. You want a stock that is shooting to the moon right now. You have the wrong stock. Good luck in finding what you're looking for.

Legitimizing CTUM’s patents and applications for patents, here is a website that won a 2005 eHealthcare award and claims to be the leading internet source for Medical Professionals. It shows a mid 2004 report on Tissue Welding in the U.S. and Australia. At that time, 2000 tissue welding operations had been performed. That means they have performed approximately 5 operations per day since then to reach the 5000 level, as stated in a recent news release. IMHO, that shows great confidence in the equipment, the surgeon and the procedure

Here is an information form regarding medical device regulation in the Ukraine. I find it interesting that the U.S Department of Commerce is listed on the bottom left of the page. This basically reveals to me that there is cooperation between the U.S. and Ukraine regarding products in the medical area of commerce. One has to wonder if this tie will help in the sharing of information regarding tissue-welding history. A developed history of operational success the Ukraine could be shared with the FDA and other U.S. agencies.
http://www.ita.doc.gov/td/health/ukraineregs.html
Here is a parallel news story in the Ukraine regarding the order of 10 tissue welding units. This order by the Ministry of Health seems to be the equivalent of an FDA order here in the U.S.. This is the medical regulatory agency for the Ukraine procuring revolutionary surgical equipment. IMO, an organization of this magnitude by testing and approving tissue welding will place the word “legitimate” all over this procedure and device. This has worldwide ramifications.

Lowman, you are correct Sir. It is very tough closing out there losing short positions.
I also think that with the maturation of the Internet, bashing has less and less effect. Each of us has gained greater depths of experience observing bashers and their methods of operation.
They are like the study on television ads. An ad at origin creates buying interest for X amount of time and then become ineffectual very rapidly. The loss of interest applies to everyone, not just the intellectually gifted in society. The creator of the ad has to change and strengthen the message to regain interest. Thanks to structured message boards like IHUB. Basher’s cannot recreate stronger attack means to get our attention without breaking the rules of the board. Built in truth in advertising. As the price in a stock rises, their credibility drops.
Shareholders of OTC securities are also more educated than a decade ago. Just look at your DD section at the top of the board. A complete research section in condensed form. Ad in your response to every inaccurate statement or insinuation and the “unbiased truth-seeker” is exposed.
Thanks for all you do,
Airdale
Jagman, why do you use so many question marks? Why do you whine like a spoiled six year old princess when Lowman questions you? Why do you maintain your short postion when you are losing your knickers? Why do you never acknowledge the positives in this stock such as insiders purchasing shares on the open market? Why do you ask so many questions regarding due diligence, are you inept or too lazy to find answers on your own? Why do you post so much information that is years old and no longer pertinent?

Lowman, I believe one of these numbheads actually has a semi-realistic scenario. The local landfill in my area is built in a ravine and is about 30 years old. It is deep, wide, broad and has to be full of gas, again much like our numbheads. The local county also is the owner. I could seed them subsidizing a portion of the construction costs to get more quickly into the gas production mode. I use the word semi-realistic, because the governments in my state tend to leave any ventures competitive with private industry alone, with some rare exceptions. It is possible this could be one of them. Either way, it will happen some day.
It’s too bad the Internet and the creation of the automobile weren’t in the same time frame. This trio of clowns would have made great entertainment belittling that venture also.

Jr. basher Jagman (aka weekend warrior), let me help you out here. There is a nifty little list called the SHO and it very convieniently lists all the shorted stocks. Drat, CTUM didn't make the list, but keep trying little guy. It even has some really cool explanations of what is going on. Please feel free to ask quesitons if you need help. Below I have listed links to aid you. Please feel free to ask if you need additional assistance. Best of luck with your bashing endeaver. I, like Ninja would like some more shares at a lower price.
