Lots of ask slapping at $.10, someone wants in.
Bid/Ask
.03/.10
Even at the bid, up 100% today
Somethings happening here.
It’s mostly old news rehashed. Unless SIGO can get a rec license to replace the 10,000 sq foot of medical cultivation licensing they already have, I’m not sure how they can focus just on recreational.
Here’s the 8k from April 25, pretty similar.
On April 24, 2018, the company filed for its annual license for manufacturing with the State of California. The company currently has a temporary license issued by the State of California that expires May 1, 2018. With the annual application filed the Company may receive an extension of 90 days of the temporary license while the annual license is being processed.
2. The Company’s temporary cultivation licenses expire on May 17, 2018 and the Company expects the annual license to be filed within the next weeks. The Company’s attorney is currently working on the package.
3. The Company’s distributor temporary license for distribution was scheduled to expire on May 29, 2018. However, the license was revoked because the county now doesn’t allow distribution at the company’s address. The County only allows for self-distribution and not general distribution. Which means the company may only distribute its own products and not unrelated 3rd party products. The Company’s attorney is filing for a new temporary license while we prepare for the annual license filings for distribution.
What does that have to do with the a/c unit?
I didn’t say there wasn’t an a/c unit.
And now less plants is better....There were 1996 plants in Bay 1, and the pots were touching. Every inch of space with that many plants is over 166 feet.
I’m not real sure how much hotter it gets, but we’ve all driven in our car on a hot day with the windows up, feels like you’re getting baked, and not in the good way. The climate is pretty mild in Salinas, there will be some warm days this summer, but mostly in the mid 70’s, humidity can be brutal though, add in the moisture the plants give off and it will feel like the jungle.
The a/c units effectiveness is questionable in that environment, a/c only works with the greenhouse closed. They have large fans at the end of the greenhouse to bring in fresh air, with those running you wouldn’t use the a/c anyway, and I believe the roof opens automatically with the sensor push system they installed. Not positive about that though.
Pot grows just fine between 80 and 85 degrees so it may not be too much of an issue. Dryer is better though, too moisture will lead to rot and mold, and they get a constant moist breeze from the ocean.
Looks like it from the bottom of the pic. I see the metal, and one two by four for support to the left. Your earlier post asking if they’re the same bay must be a mistake on their part right? Can’t be the same bay.
You can see the ac unit in the middle in the second link. The picture is taken from the reverse, and it gets lost in the light, so it’s tough to see. Something has changed with the spacing though, the pots used to be touching, which makes sense if you have 2,000 plants in 2,000 sq feet.
From the beginning the REI deal was strange. The whole point of having a license is to prevent non license holders from being involved with cannabis, and that’s exactly what the REI deal was. Why couldn’t they get their own licenses, the state is handing them out to anyone that qualifies, or maybe they don’t qualify?
What a bunch of made up nonsense, and what does that have to with taxes? You just posted about REI making money from a 3rd party, and now 15 minutes later, it doesn’t matter? LMAO. I suggest reading the filings, we don’t need anymore misinformation.
What are you talking about? They can’t distribute anything REI makes from 3rd parties because their distribution license was revoked.
Property info is public record in Ca, but the name shows up in other sources too. Realtors can quickly get that info for no cost if you know one.
In California the terms on a lease are between a lessor (landlord) and lessee (tenant), but the words are commonly used interchangeably. In most cases the landlord is the owner, but many commercial lease are between a management company and tenant, and subleases of unused space are not uncommon.
They’re Battle Mountain’s landlord, but the owner of the property is Ryoji Onitsuka. He has a lease agreement with Lighthouse, who subleased to Battle Mountain, who subleased to VBF.
The primary tenant is actually Lighthouse Botanicals, they also lease another greenhouse(s) on the property, not sure how many exactly, they have several licenses at more than one location.
From what I could find they may be a father and son with the same name. The older Max runs a business selling test strips for pharmacies.
Good find on the job opening, I’m not sure what Turetsky’s role is gong forward since their agreement for the Pueblo farm has been terminated. Turetsky has ties to the lender with liens on the farm, and those guys have money to invest, whether Notis is a part of that, I’m not sure.
I don’t think Massachusetts has anything to do with the new plans. Max bought his shares on the open market when he could have gone directly to Notis and lent them money for shares at a 50% discount. He spent a huge amount of money averaging down, and very likely sold after the price peaked around $.0025, the price dropped quickly, and there were several days where close to a billion shares traded, and a few were over a billion.
Only to a licensed distributor. We still don’t know when the license was revoked, from the state’s point of view the license was never valid, but I doubt they’ll do anything.
Mirrors reflect heat so they won’t work, Mylar has been used for years, reflects the light, and the heat passes through it. Not sure it’s practical in an operation like this though, maybe for the corners.
I’m talking about their greenhouse, not an indoor grow, light distance matters regardless. You said they were on a pulley system, so you agree distance matters.
How do these leds affect the plant photophysiology more than the sun? On instagram they said it was for shadows, which makes more sense, but still useless at such a distance with so few lights. They’ve added far less lights than they said they would in January too, and money’s not a problem, they’ve borrowed several hundred thousand this year.
They don’t appear to be on a pulley system, and we’ve never seen them lowered. At that distance they are completely useless, and I’m sure you know the whole point of leds is the lower heat output, allowing the lights to be closer to the plant.
Fair enough :)
That would put the 10K filing at nearly the same time the toxic debt will be unrestricted. How did you hear about that?
I could think of several reasons someone would want the price to stay up. Someone that’s down a lot would benefit from the appearance of buying interest, it could also benefit some insiders, or just about anyone with a lot of shares, and $40,000 in their Etrade account . My guess is that if/when the 10k comes out there will be a lot more buying for a few days, but until then a giant bid on a low float will have to suffice.
It’s not just an algo, people see a bid like that and they’ll trade accordingly, some won’t even put in a sell order. A real buyer would have taken out the ask without showing his entire order, or sat on the bid with much smaller blocks.
That’s exactly what it is. No real trader shows 50k on a stock that trades one fifth that. The mm’s immediately raised the ask, and when the spread was tight he didn’t even ask slap.
Lol small detail. I never really thought about which bay is medical and which is recreational. #whichhunt
Yes, or a dispensary that sells medical cannabis. Many dispensaries sell both, but not all.
The prices are lower because the taxes are lower, and it’s a huge savings for the end user, but not cultivators. Their prices are based on supply, and there’s a ton of it right now, and I don’t see how the size of the market matters when you can sell 100% of your product. VBF only has 5,000 sq feet of recreational cultivation license vs the 10,000 for medical, and they can’t distribute for REI anymore because of the county rule. Maybe they’ll change their mind with the new lower tax rate, or maybe the state will adopt this proposed regulation: “Highlighted among the proposed changes is that applicants may now complete one license application and obtain one license to conduct medicinal and adult-use cannabis activity. Additionally, licensees may continue to engage in commercial cannabis activities with other licensees regardless of designation as this provision is no longer limited by time.”

New owners control 144 million shares, or 90% of the company.
ASAE to become GBOX next month
Big move on name change news.
You save a bunch of money in taxes, at minimum 15%, but some places are eating the entire tax for medical users, saving up to 35%. There’s no statewide database of medical recs, some counties and cities would issue plastic id cards, but not many.
Google did a pretty good job on the translation.
I don’t know what happened with Goh and Pyatt and the PCH deal, the board signed off on it, but at some point they realized it was a terrible deal. But that was after the board approved it, now they cancel the Trava deal and it seems like they were the only ones that knew what they were doing. Now who’s going to grow hemp on the 100 acres, Aeon?
Actually I didn’t say all that. Here’s my actual post: https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=134171424
Also Goh and Pyatt were fired, and it was Travesky that had the experience growing hemp not Notis.
I couldn’t think of a way the SEC could enforce something like this and not have a 1st amendment issue. When he said “forever,” I knew he was full of it. Most penny CEO’s would love to keep subpoenas secret forever :) MGT has told a lot of lies and the SEC doesn’t seem to care, and McAfee has bigger problems than the SEC, he seems to think someone’s going to kill him soon.
Video of John McAfee formerly of MGTI, talking about the company’s SEC subpoena from September 2016. He claims that he’s not allowed to talk about it, and that he has committed a felony by doing so. He claims it’s the SEC preventing him from discussing it, and that by law he can’t discuss it, forever! It should be noted that John seems more paranoid than usual, but when you’re a drug addict and alleged rapist/murderer, life can be stressful.
The video is not very exciting, and I was hoping it was a new subpoena for his ICO/Crypto pumping, he will take money from anyone willing to give it to him, and say anything. Terri Bueuhl posted the subpoena last year, some of it was about Barry Honig, now that they settled with each other her articles have been pulled down.
