Does anyone else speculate that there could be a reverse merger coming between KATX and BVIG as part of the uplisting process?
Excellent, thank you for the due diligence.
Good luck to KATX investors.
Okay thanks, pro.
Good luck to KATX investors.
Yes and apparently (rumor has it) there will be news this week on drilling results from the Rusty Ridge property, possibly accompanied by news of other issues hinted at in a PR of 7 Jan as follows:
KAT Exploration, Inc. Update on Company Events
30 days 20 hours 29 minutes ago - INW via Comtex
MarketwireKAT Exploration, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: KATX) www.katexploration.com
KAT Exploration, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: KATX) is pleased to inform shareholders and the public of its ongoing progress with regards to company events and distribution of the 1 for 4 BVIG shares to KATX shareholders.
The company is still waiting for the latest results from drill hole #2 on its Rusty Ridge project. As stated before in a prior press release, results have been received from the upper 50m of the 334m of hole #2 but results have not been received from the remainder of the selected sections sent for analysis. In speaking with Actlabs who are doing the analysis of these samples it may still be a couple more weeks before results are received.
Another 102 new claims have been staked around the original Rusty Ridge claims in order to protect the area for future exploration.
While much speculation has been raised as to why the delay in BVIG share distribution, the company wishes to assure its shareholders that we and our attorneys are working through the SEC rules and regulations in order to comply with all required filings. We realize that while many have been anxiously waiting for the distribution to take place, we ask for continued patience as the process for this procedure moves forward. We will inform shareholders when the distribution filing is approved by all regulatory institutions.
The company is also in the initial stages of filing a 15c211in order to move Kat Exploration Inc from the Pink Sheets listing to that of the OTCBB. As progress moves forward with these filings further updates will be made available to shareholders and public.
The company is also in the process of engaging a full service Investor Relations firm to assist in its communication with shareholders and public alike.
This press release contains forward-looking information within the meaning of Section 27A of the Securities Act of 1933 and Section 21E of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and is subject to the Safe Harbor created by those sections. This material contains statements about expected future events and/or financial results that are forward-looking in nature and subject to risks and uncertainties. Such forward-looking statements by definition involve risks, uncertainties and other factors, which may cause the actual results, performance or achievements of Kat Exploration Inc. to be materially different from the statements made herein.

Didn't someone say the IR firm replied that there would be a PR this week?
Good luck to KATX investors.
He's a market maker.

Good luck to CPOW investors.
Thanks.
I see NITE has the highest BID.
Good luck to CPOW investors.
KATX up 12% this morning.
Can you post a link for this? I am curious about that.
Are you saying that HDSN is covering? I am trying to follow...
Level II market maker snapshot please? Anyone got one for CPOW?
I am showing we were up .003 and now just .001 with a volume of just over 100,000.
Other than that, who knows.
First hour of the day is "amateur hour" IMHO. I don't buy or sell anything the first hour of the day.
Most certainly IF the CPOW JV with CGG came together and that plant got built, this would be serious competition for those conglomerates up there. Of course most of them have operations all over the world - so you'd think they would be gracious but don't really expect that.
Good luck to CPOW investors.
Yes, me too.
At bargain prices in the .02s range and with all the posting (KATX is way up on the "Breakout Boards" with the number of postings), a wave of new speculative investors may join up. Nothing like some new blood to breathe life into a stock.
A lot of attention has been brought to this stock by the negative posting. Some trade on fear. When others get afraid, get greedy is the saying I believe. I have held my shares with gritted teeth and swallowed disappointment. IMHO the negativity went too far and will backfire.
Good luck to KATX investors.
Competitors for CPOW are huge conglomerates. They are mentioned in this Reuters article, which I thought was slanted. As a note, the Canola Insight group mentioned in this article is a front group for those competitors as near as I can tell - it is pretty shadowy.

CPOW latest news.
http://www.marketwatch.com/story/clean-power-concepts-to-acquire-assets-of-alabama-bio-energy-llc-and-eagle-biodiesel-inc-2011-02-03
For some reason it does not appear in the I-Hub News.
News tomorrow on KATX?
It's been coming for awhile...
Video on GBE (subsidiary of CPOW) website.
Would like help from someone who is a techie to get this video into the I-Box. I cannot link to it directly and I downloaded the video to realplayer but having no luck embedding it to the I-Box.

Good luck to CPOW investors.
This is an important article because it talks about the 2 stages of the potential CPOW deal with China.
1) provide cooking oil right away - secure sales contracts between CPO and CGG for this.
2) create and implement a joint venture between CPOW and CGG involving the building of a high-capacity crushing plant somewhere in Western Canada.
Thank you, Steve5.
Good luck to all CPOW investors.
Thank you for your due diligence, Owl.
Go KATX.
I definitely would like to see someone work out the math on this.
I do believe the Alabama plant would be crushing soy, so that should be taken into account in doing the calculation.
This recent article is related to corn/soy:
http://af.reuters.com/article/energyOilNews/idAFN0424768320110204
What is your opinion then on why the TA is gagged?
I believe the assets of Alabama Bio Energy/Eagle Biodiesel will be vital to any arrangement between CGG and CPOW.
China needs cooking oil now - particularly the Chongquin region. There are articles in the I-Box about the cooking oil situation in China. Anyone who is a fan of Chinese food will know that it just can't be made without cooking oil. 1 billion mouths to feed. 3 meals a day. That's a lot of cooking oil.
If I am not mistaken, the Alabama Bio Energy company was crushing soybeans. Rapeseed and Camelina are not grown in Alabama that I know of.
Refresher for newbies to the board: Canola stands for "Canadian oil, low acid".
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canola
If the CPOW/CGG deal to do a joint venture and build a crushing plant comes together, this will help supply the demand for cooking oil. Remember that cooking oil can be made from soy as well.
While the proposed plant is being built, the combined output of CPOW making canola oil and Alabama Bio Energy making soy oil would help supply the cooking oil demand.
Notice the word "Assets" was used in the PR. "Assets" could also include any patents or technology plus established business relationships, lines or credit, etc. not just equipment.
Good luck to all CPOW investors.
I will continue to keep the CPOW I-Box updated as new things come along.
If anyone has anything they would like to see posted in the CPOW I-Box, let me know.
If this is something you would have to email, I now have an email address dedicated to just my I-Hub traffic.
Good luck to CPOW investors.
Opening bell: 9:30am EST.
Good post.
Of course, Biodiesel is just one facet of CPOW's production and potential.
CPOW is not a 1 trick pony.
Plays:
1) Cooking Oil.
2) Biodiesel.
3) Eco-lubricants.
4) Livestock feed.
5) Nutraceuticals.
and, apparently now with this possible acquisition of the assets of Alabama Bio Energy, we would have for CPOW the crushing of soybeans, unless they are planning on sending canola down to Alabama to be crushed.
Good luck to CPOW investors.
Just as a note, the agreement between CPOW and CGG was signed in China, not in Canada.
But it was signed nonetheless.
And more good things could be coming if all these plans come together.
Good luck to CPOW investors.
Thank you, Steve5.
It certainly would be beneficial to CPOW investors if the deal between Chongquin Grain Group and CPOW comes together.
The clock is ticking on that.
It looks like we have a FEW future agreements to come together. Not only the CGG deal (60 days from the Memo of Understanding) but the Alabama Bio Energy deal (15 March).
Good luck to CPOW investors.
Elaborate a bit for me/us on what you consider is a mythical problem.
I do not know how you could be sure that the TA being gagged has nothing to do with BVIG distribution.
If things have changed behind the scenes, you never know how this could be related to the float and the TA being gagged.
There is always the possibility of a merger/reverse merger.
If investors are mad that Handcamp went from KATX to BVIG, maybe there is something going on related to that involving shares.
I don't know. You don't know. No one knows.
I'm just sayin' no one knows why the TA is gagged except KATX management. Any statement that it has nothing to do with such and such is opinion, not fact.
Good luck to KATX investors.
I am sorry, that's not what I meant.
I meant, what would be the PURPOSE of a number of investors putting in a sell limit order of $1.00 on their stock?
Does this end up affecting the bid/ask somehow?
Some CPOW I-Box updates have been done.
Good luck to CPOW investors.
What would it do to set the sell limit order at 1.00? I am not sure I am following.
Why doesn't this give the promoter name that did the promo on 2/4/2011?
Thanks, Gildersleeve.
We should have an update on the CPOW short interest on otcmarkets.com soon.
The last data is from Jan 14.
I would think part of the reason the TA is gagged right now is because of whatever is happening with BVIG and the uplisting process. There may be KATX float changes or other changes that would cause confusion if the share structure data is released without an accompanying statement/PR from the company.
Next week is the week for news. I feel it. Whether its good news or bad news remains to be seen.
Maybe I will get an early valentine's day gift. Maybe I won't.
IMHO I am not overly concerned about the TA being gagged right now. If what is happening is what I HOPE is happening, this is actually a good sign.
As a note, I bought into KATX later and will not get BVIG shares. But I do believe (my opinion) the next PR will not only have RR results but news of BVIG distribution and possibly also the uplisting.
The 7 Jan 11 PR was a bone for all KATX believers. Some didn't like how the bone smelt and walked away. Others (like me) see it as trying to reassure us that good things are coming.
This stock is, IMHO, as low as it is going to go. If some large shareholders are still gritting their teeth and holding their shares, just how much more selling can be done?
Unless it's short selling.
It is not "news" that makes a stock go up or down - it is buying and selling. N'est ce pas?
Thanks, Palms.
Yes, this has to be 600,000 annually.
This is an old article about another company that is competition for CPOW.
Per this article, written at the time their plant was being planned, the plant would crush 2,000 tons a day. Making it possible to crush up to 730,000 tons of crushing per annum depending of course on if the plant is operating at full capacity every day of the week.
http://www.gov.sk.ca/news?newsId=9b5a530d-972b-4c96-a00d-d1b94c1b8abc
I am only posting this to clarify the point on CPOW's daily crushing capacity.
Good luck to all CPOW investors.
Thanks Palms.
It's definitely winter in Regina but it's not the Artic Circle.
http://www.bugbog.com/images/maps/arctic-circle_map.jpg
I am not sure how that works to be honest. If canola growing is like some other farming, farmers grow when it is warm and store when it is cold. Stored canola in huge silos could allow for winter crushing.
Maybe they crush in the winter right now at CPOW and maybe they don't. I am not sure, we could find out.
