God bless those lost in Vegas, and a speedy recovery to those injured. Oy!
OWCP will go up tomorrow, or it won't. It'll go down.
It's one of the two.
Has anyone here ever been in a stock that rose rapidly in value overnight and in the days, weeks and months afterwards? Can you describe what that can be like.
Does the stock just rise and rise and rise, or can there be serious dips that makes you want to run? I'm assuming all of this. Just curious and excited. thoughts?
ya i think that's terrific as well. Thanks for doing so and for sharing.
nice to say, Tappy!!!
TenKay you're being to punitive. There are two parties here, one of which is Tom and the other is us, or part of us. While i agree Tom creates a certain environment here which is conducive to communication with him, he certainly did not set up this open communication to be taken advantage of. This is us, or part of us. Give the guy a break. He's pretty unique in his openness and likely will continue to be, during business hours.
nicely put!!!!
LEAVE TOM ALONE! Do it, firstly out of respect for the man and then secondly for yourself -- so you can benefit as much as possible from his work. Whether you believe in the fellow or not, it's crucial that a person has a chance to work and to breath.
I've emailed him a few times, just wishing him well, but I'll stop that too. I get his point.
ps. whether he's at all responsible for all the calls and emails, it doesn't matter. At the end of the day, he needs space.
where is their evidence btw, that owcp is touring nasdaq?
There are elaborate scams created but men and women of ill character.
But this is not BVTK. This is not Tom.
These are people who have thievery in their blood and absolute disrespect for humankind in their soul. While, on the surface, some of these people may seem respectable, sort of like Mafia Dons distributing turkeys to the poor during the holidays - in truth they are cunning, cold blooded insensitive blips of nature more comfortable in a hole in a forest than at the head of a church-committee.
This is not Tom.
I will not write a thesis on Tom's perfection because he is not that either. He is prone to hyperbole. He has left investors holding the ripped bag through RS's, and seems to be somewhat arrogant. However, he is also not the man who stays up nights plotting against those who have handed him money from the cut out pages of a book which acts as their safe.
Tom is a very mainstream man who does what normal mainstream people do, albeit those who are Type A. He fell in love, got married and had children. Normal and not suspicious. He worked in a particular field and gained expertise in that area. Pretty standard. Rising in the ranks people seemed to take notice of his smarts, his published papers and books and he was offered more than reasonable positions. That happens in our world, frequently.
Than simple, regular-old Tom became a real leader, an uber-expert in his area and headed companies and government departments, with brilliance and sometimes a mild-manneredness. Pretty standard stuff.
Today he oversees another of his ventures - BVTK and is neither performing magic or creating a dastardly blueprint to torpedo little old ladies fortunes, and those of citizens who live and will die doing awfully regular stuff.
Tom is Tom, a man doing what people like him do - achieving. Making missteps. Working hard. Showing successes after showing failures, then showing failures again, followed by a success, or two.
Tom is Tom. BVTK is BVTK. Both have flaws, however both have genuius. If anything the flaws are in us and how we need to see this man and this company. The flaws are in us.
Leave it at that.
How many reasons might there be for this past week's surge?
- Could it be, because indeed someone spoke favorably about the company at a party of rich people, or in a newsletter we have not seen.
- Could news have been leaked?
It's hard to say, but this past week's trading felt substantially different. There was strong buying; bold and aggressive buying. While the price came down quite a bit from the highs on Friday, the close was reasonable, and more than that, needed by investors. It was refreshing.
We seem to be approaching a cross-roads as the third quarter wraps up, which is an important time period for this stock. The last quarter is upon us and what OWCP does in the final few months of 2017 could just determine the real future of this stock. 2018 may begin with an OWCP looking at a substantially hire value. Good news, which should be coming, will do that.
Of the 7 or so stocks I"m holding (3 of which are on the Toronto Stock Exchange), OWCP feels like it will garner some of the greatest profits. It is the right time for an expensive MJ stock; the market is drooling to invest in a solid medical-MJ stock and the pharmaceutical companies are clearly on the hunt for the next big find/discovery in this industry - THC/CBD based medicine.
Much luck to all. Go OWCP go!!!! None of this may come to fruition, but hell, things just seem right!!!
it wouldn't be the first time Bayer invests in Israel, albeit it on a bigger bases.

As I said, once i realized RBC would not take my orders, I went on the hub and asked people where i might purchase stock. The recommendations - about 2-3 of them - were Virtual Broker.
- I filled out the appropriate forms.
- I then waited for them for a few days to kick-start my account by having me send a small amount of money to them (it was a simple process that they launched)
- Once done and my account was ready to go, i transferred funds from RBC to Virtual. That took a few days, but when it was in place, I put in my order.
- I transferred funds 3 times I believe and waited a few days before i could use it.
- Once I bought all the stock I wanted all was good. The only thing I caution is that they do not transfer your CDN$ into american, or suggest you do, so I was called for a margin call a few times. I found that annoying not understanding why they transfer the funds, but that being said, I now do it every time my self using their software.
Virtual Brokers from what i see is fine. I don't care about the price for trade because it is miniscual compared to my overall investment and potential profit. A few bucks here are there is inconsequential.
Much luck
go BVTK go!!!!

Thanks. If equity investors by common shares whatbdonyheybdo w them? How will the
Number of shares drop?
But that big? We're talking 8 billion shares - plus.
I hear you thought and your positivity is inspiring. I continue to hold and look forward to the day when we can all party, and use our good fortune to fix the world.
I think your point is a good one. I believe Tom when he says he does not want an RS, which likely means there won't be one. That being said, how does he actualize a buy-back? Do investors purchase common shares and swap them for restricted shares, thereby the company dissolving those commmon shares? When do you think this might happen? what are the other options?
I suspected BVTK would rise more following the demise of the Stop Sign. not sure why it didn't, really! Thoughts?

Im with Virtual in Toronto. It was slow-ish and a bit of a drag waiting for transfers but i made my purchases and I'm good to go now. Make sure you you transfer your funds into US$ or you will be bugged for margin when CD$ changes. Otherwise, you'll be fine.
I have been holding OWCP for close to a year. I purchased the stock because of my interest in 0marijuana stocks which i knew would skyrocket and my love for Israel. I figured that OWCP was a good place to invest in an industry and a county i liked/loved.
When this company stock stepped above $3.00 I was making a decent amount of money. Then I gave most of it back. And I was disheartened. But I stayed with it and followed this hub and other forms of due diligence.
I never swayed. Never almost hit the sell button....because these are fascinating times we live in particularly in the area of medical research and to be part of OWCP was/is a buzz.
And at the end of the day, i think we're going to exerience a day(s) like ZGN_ investors are experiencing now. And it'll be fun. And many people will be helped, and I'll live for a few more decades, God willing, Fricking loaded :)
Go OWCP go!!!!
$5 million? There are times when i believe these nuances are going to be a problem for BVTK. But its clear, Tom comes through. The man, IMHO, would not sign off on this JV if he couldn't product his share of the $5 million. IN the scope of things - it's do-able. Thoughts?
It's crucial you have a strategy overall for buying and selling etc. AS per buying to own a stock, i.e. investing (which is what I'm assuming you're doing, as opposed to flipping), BUY THE STOCK. In other words, don't mess with a few point here and there. Set a price and purchase your 400,000 right after the opening (opening can be bananas) and whether you loose or few points or not, should not make a difference to you. You're in this for some decent profits, right so don't chase the market. Much luck my friend.
Stop sign down!
So I hopped into my car and drove to the corner expecting to see the big RED sign that had been standing there for an awfully long time. It was the sign that prevented drivers from driving through that intersection and even picking up speed.
So this morning I approached it and it was gone. Those who monitor and administrate these roadways felt the cross-roads still needed some sort of image to slow things down a tad so they replaced the STOP sign with a cautious sign, but that was good by me as I recognized, next time this thorough fair will be like the Auto Bahn....drive right through!!!!
So I kept on going, slowly but surely and went right through those roads. I was smiling the whole way through and even pooped my pants as I did. Those in the car with me understood and they pooped too :)
Wow, this is a morning we've all been waiting for and I am high as a kite (sorry Jeff Sessions). Congratulations!!! Mazel Tov!!! Way to go Tom. Way to go many of us that waited patiently and honorably for that sign to change.
Yes!!!!! Soon we can use our precious profits to fix the entire world, and yes, buy a red-hot Corvette convertible. Hugs.
Any ideas on what BVTK will look like in a year from now? Will it have a corporate headquarters with employees swarming throughout the building, going from department to department? Or will it be a small office with a dozen employees including a major sales person and a small staff, a back office and Tom and team putting together humongous corporate deals?
Is Tom's plan to create another Google or Amazon with square footage all over the place or will it be predicated on his expertise and contacts and remain a tight small team, similar to the way Trump operates?
I ask this because I'm curious what we're looking at down the road. Would like to envision it.
p.s. Great day! The feeling in the air of potentiality is palpable. Should I get a Mercedes or an Austin Martin, two-story condo or 5,000 square foot home? Know what I"m saying?
yes likely (smiles)
Don't you think that what Tom has promised recently is coming to fruition? It looks that way.
Re. the cult culture here, I believe are so incredibly enamored by Tom's accomplishment versus the average OTC (let alone a pinky) CEO that we've made him iconic, like Brando.
But that's neither here nor there, because when the going gets tough Tom could just as well be turned into an enemy. Investors here know that at the end of the day, my $1 turns into something better, or it doesn't and that is predicated not only the character and brains of the CEO, but the market and obvious other dynamics that affect all stocks.
Go BVTK go!!!!!
Do you guys have any thoughts on a post yesterday re. investing in Canada in places like Virtual Brokers? Know anything about it. A person was scared to do so saying the shares could be shut down, and it was high risk. I've invested in BVTK in a big way through Virtual Brokers and not aware of such risks. Thoughts?
is this a lot?
It is not bizarre or ironic that Tom is the CEO of a pinky. He is because he has chosen to be. It's becoming clearer and clearer, that his choice to drive this once very squeaky old jalopy was predicated at least in part, on his personal desire (and of course i'm speculating) to build something out of nothing.
People like Tom are type A characters, individuals who rarely stops (hence the 2 hour sleeps) and always has a project on the run. I am type B and within that realm I crave sleep and often want nothing more than to do nothing. Not Tom.
My guess is, this mid to late fifties very accomplished guy, with a wonderful family and friends and lots and lots of connections, looked around and wondered 'what can I do to make my life really meaningful; what can I do to take this old junky Chevy sitting in the back of the barn and turn it into a pristine, shining roadster?"
That's what type A guys do.
They are always chewing on that bit, asking themselves what it is that will set them apart from the other brilliant folk out there and ensure a cherished place on this earth. Tom figured it out.
He began by leaping into a company that could barely stay together. One which gave off splinters when you walked through its doors. And like most inventive people, like the inventor of the light bulb and the x-ray, he accepted the pokes and the bashing from those who thought he was bananas, and was willing to make some very hard and seemingly harsh decisions to make this car run. Over time, the rust started to fall off through his trips to Korea and India. The car began looking like it might actually move one day, and so it did.
None of what we are seeing today was a mistake on his part or by chance. People like Tom, those who are thoroughly driven to accomplish things in life and reach their goals, think and think more. They have a plan and even when they seem like they don't, they know how to get there.
Watching Tom and BVTK is like reading a book (one will likely be written about this journey one day; I've thought how interesting it would be to write one on this hub). There are pages and footnotes. Every chapter includes something new and delightful with characters and dynamics. Every line and paragraph can be gripping.
And the fact that we are all here is not by chance either. For some reason our life's-journey has intersected with one another, and with Tom. The car is roaring now, or almost roaring. The engine is turning over and all of us are driving that old jalopy.
At 200 miles an hour it is quite a vehicle. Go BVTK go. It's really something watching you Tom. You are an impressive mechanic and driver and I'm enjoying the ride.
Go BVTK go. Go Tom Go!!!!
good one!!! :)
In some ways BVTK is in the middle, or will be in the middle of the contentious issues in America.
Do you think Wall Street would or should take a knee?
CAN PEOPLE SHARE A PLAN FOR EXITING THIS STOCK AS IT TAKES OFF?
CAN YOU GIVE US A GOOD IDEA HOW WE MIGHT APPROACH SELLING OUR STOCK
AS IT RISES? IT'LL BE INTERESTING TO LEARN FROM OTHERS AS TO HOW YOU
WILL LIQUIDATE. I FIND LIQUIDATION THE MOST CHALLENGING PART ABOUT OWNING A STOCK. THOUGHTS?
A few points to ponder;
I like this part of start-ups more so than the beginning. Stuff is actually happening. The roll-out has been tremendous and now what we're concentrating on re-purchases, which it seems are happening.
Not everywhere but in many locals. The wine is en vogue. The consensus is while it might be a bit too expensive for some, they are all good vino's and out on the market at the right time.
Rich has shown that he is diligent and a very hard worker. I know there are a bunch of people who do not feel the same about Rich but that's okay. If he delivers that'll change.
Go ICNB, go!!!
THE TOM/BVTK MOVIE:
Like most of us, I've been confident about my purchase of shares in BVTK, and like most of us, there have been times when I dropped my head in seeming disappointment.
Now, my view of this stock/company is very favorable.
Why?
Tom is at the age when you start to have that f____ it mentality. Its a recognition that, I'm more than half way through my life and I might as well chill and dive right in. I know this because Tom and I are the same age.
He is gathering up the nuts of his own experience and history and using them to build an empire. Tom's likely figuring, let me make some very serious cash, more than he can imagine, and let 'me really save the world, by drawing upon my contacts to build this entity called BVTK'.
Watch his demeanor, his way. He's pretty damn casual, but similarly very serious with great intent. If he were a younger man, you wouldn't see tweets like he puts out, nor would you see him responding to every one of us who emails him . He'd be too guarded, too worried about his reputation and future and about the legalities surrounding stock trading. Tom's a movie star, but more of a Dustin HOffman. He's already won the Oscar.
Right now Tom is living in the present, comfortable with his past and confident about the future. If you have tapped into this man's life, which you have by virtue of stock purchase, you're lucky because you're part of a ride which could be bumpy, fun and highly successful.
Could it crap out? Sure everything could. NASA could close tomorrow - it almost has over the years. Will it? Naw!!! Tom's way too bright, aware and has a business savvy that will take BVTK to the moon.
Past stuff....RS's etc.? Part of doing business. To build an empire you might start out with a corner store about to tank. That's what he did. It looks bad, looking back, but one day, when we watch the movie, it'll all make sense.
Go BVTK go!!!! This is fun. IN the words of one of this hub's participants, WEEEEEEEE! :) . Enjoy the film. Please turn off your cell phones.
excellent
This is what you call the development of a company. We have the privilege of watching it happen, under a microscope. That is both good and bad. Good because we are in some ways part of the minuteau, and bad, because watching every detail can help to create misinformation.
Go BVTK go!!! A fascinating company, and a most compelling watch.
It's pretty clear, this has to get current. The challenge is, Tom may not want that. This has been discussed ad nausea but that might just be the truth. It might be messier when the stop sign comes down, but on the flip side investors are going to be weary about getting in until that happens.
Bit of a catch-22.
I doubt Tom was actually surprised that the stock did not go up on news yesterday. I think it's part of his salesmanship...that's what they do. Go BVTK!!!!
BVTK is going to the moon. BVTK is a scam.
Tom is brilliant. Tom is a scam artist.
What partnerships BVTK has formed.
What bogus partnerships BVTK has created.
Very tiring.
Shana tova. Happy new year. And a very sweet bravatek year!!!!
WAY TO GO RICH!!!
I find that Tom uses a healthy dose of hyperbole, however that is not all he uses. He mixes in honest statements, with some that are cryptic but are meant to create a story in the investors minds. And i think that is wise. He should throw out stuff that going to keep us around. He's selling something and that's what good salesmen do. And he should provide us with honest to goodness information as BVTK inflates. Which he does. Tom is not a one-trick poney. Hes bright and he knows his way around. And yes, like anyone, he can be full of shit from time to time.
