LEAVE TOM ALONE! Do it, firstly out of respect for the man and then secondly for yourself -- so you can benefit as much as possible from his work. Whether you believe in the fellow or not, it's crucial that a person has a chance to work and to breath.

I've emailed him a few times, just wishing him well, but I'll stop that too. I get his point.
