We can infer the "engineering units" provided to S4W worked well from the S4W site commenting on hours of flight time. Most drones of this type on the market today with similar features show 7 to 20 minutes of flight capability.
From this we could also "expect" that the Liquid Image trial would have yielded a similar increase in operation time. Current Liquid image battery iterations are yielding approx 2 hrs run time.
The rest of the dots have to be connected by D'Couto. With test data in hand he could hopefully be able to obtain operating capital.
Nothing from D'Couto in months, is he making progress ? is anything happening behind the scenes ?
Why isn't Argonne working on his battery ? If they are working on it, why do they not change the status on the DOE site ? Almost all the other projects are showing as active. We know he should be able to have provided one or more.
Lots of questions and very few answers from the company.

Whatever happened to the agreement between NEAH Power and PSN components ? Can they even manufacture what NEAH needs today ?
https://fuelcellsworks.com/archives/2013/03/15/neah-power-announces-sales-and-purchase-agreement-and-manufacturing-rights-agreement/
"Neah has also signed a manufacturing rights agreement with PSN Components (PSN). Under the agreement, PSN has first refusal to any high-volume manufacturing of Neah’s products and also the right to invest up to 51% in any future joint manufacturing venture. PSN has purchased 32,608,696 shares in Neah and as part of the transaction has Investor observer status privileges at all Board of Director meetings."
Did this agreement lapse, or is it still active, it happened during the " ION Geophysical debacle ".
Lots of questions..and no one to answer them. So Much for transparency.

New name for NEAH Power ? Or something else that may not be good for shareholders ?
The Dr. has been quiet for too long, the existence of the battery is good, will NEAH be able to manufacture it ?
The Bodycam to be available for purchase in Spring 2017, would be good to have batteries to put in it.

Mulla, that is true but on this one I cannot find anything by the company about the company and battery testing, so its totally under wraps.
Since it is apparently working for S4W it should definitely work for them, I did go through a lot of reviews of the Liquid Image products and a constant complaint was insufficient battery life, this should be a big consideration for them.
Here is hoping they got their 10 units and their later 100 units and all is going well.
Waiting for an update from NEAH.
JMHO
Bill
It could, that will take some affirmation by D'Couto. Although the stock has been quietly going up lately for "no apparent reason". Maybe the reason will become apparent soon.
I am not as concerned with short term price movements as I am with the fact that S4W has done testing with an actual Battery and or fuel cell. We are talking real world applications here. D'Couto stated that NEAH was to provide both to them. It is taking time but the blocks are falling in to place.
Real world results that can translate to financing, production and then sales is what will bring long term price appreciation.
JMHO

I agree , my 6 month jitters have been calmed and hopefully others can see and calm down also.
THANK YOU S4 Worldwide !
Maybe just maybe the behind the scenes work by NEAH will be realized soon.

Specifically to the Argonne scenario. Questions abound.
We now Know know for sure they had some manufactured batteries. We know they can scale them up to be able to power a drone. S4W was testing with them as D'Couto stated previously and they seem to have liked them.
So why would the Argonne project not just have started up and run and be at least 1/3 the way done now ?
Have they started and are just not updating their website ? or did they get a battery and somehow the scope of the project changed ?
Are they waiting to have an alternate scope updated in round 3 ?
Maybe the project was put off due to a change in scope and a different opportunity, it's all speculation at this point.
I really would like to see a comprehensive update from D''Couto at this time to clear the mud.
It all starts with one positive.
JMHO
Bill
Perhaps something is prohibiting him from saying anything. Something else in the works that would have to come out and then be construed as "stock manipulation.
Very tough to say without knowing and that is where we are at.
Like I said in a previous post. The SBV pilot has not been showing as started by the DOE, I read into that something was very wrong until I found the S4W update, then have since waffled to something may be VERY RIGHT.
Lets say that maybe starting with the $300,000.00 voucher kept NEAH from being able to qualify for a larger grant, say an SBIR/STTR grant which could be used for things outside lab time, like maybe actual company development alongside product development. If that grant were possibly many times larger, maybe he has a possible alternate path available. This is a "what if" scenario.
We do know this: S4W has test data for either or both the Power Chip battery and Fuel Cell.
I would think D'Couto would have had actual test data in hand when he went to the Defense Innovation Tech Challenge, that would be very compelling data. I have it here and I have it now and can make it available with proper funding is a VERY compelling argument.
Until we see the Filings which may have a hint, or we hear from D'Couto we will not know for sure. I know people are clamoring for Argonne updates and he is giving us nothing.
jmho
Bill
I feel the same way, why would D'Couto not PR these things ? That is why I posted what I found as soon as I found it. This at least gives shareholder's some hope of a future, not selling in disgust right at a time when we could be at the cusp of something big.
The S4 Worldwide web re-design was fairly recent as I had checked it very recently and it was the same 2 year old site.
Having to extrapolate and connect dots because the company won't.
The drones use NEAH power products, most likely the camera will, extended battery life gives huge competitive advantage. Extended power life for devices whether from batteries or whether from Fuel cells is the desired result for customers.
The camera will be available in the Spring 2017 - we are almost there.
The camera is marketed by VOXX electronics better known as Audiovox, they have very large distribution with well known brands. If "NEAH Inside" gives them a big enough advantage, this could be huge in both terms of market exposure and access to high volume manufacturing.
Like I said, I have my fingers crossed.

"Bothell, WA (Sept 16, 2015) – NEAH Power Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: NPWZ) (“NEAH POWER”) and S4W Worldwide Technologies (“S4W”) have announced a teaming agreement, by which both parties will work together to integrate NEAH POWER’s patented power generation and energy storage technologies with S4W’s industry leading security and defense products.
Under the agreement, NEAH POWER will deliver commercial units of its patented formic acid reformer fuel cell (Formira HOD™) and engineering units of its PowerChip® fuel cell and PowerChip® Battery. Here is one for you Bull.
S4 Worldwide has a newly designed web site and announced a new Streaming Camera with VOXX at CES 2017.
10 Hrs battery life with HD recording, 120degree viewing and the live streaming. Is it a NEAH battery ? Can't say for sure but 10 hrs with HD recording AND Live streaming, other cameras last 2 hrs tops with that action.
At the NEW website S4W still lists NEAH Power as a partner so they have not dumped NEAH in the last year. Something must be going on behind the scenes.
The camera will be available late spring 2017.
Lots to speculate on.

One more positive not directly related but there may be some potential for NEAH if the follow through is there.
http://www.forbes.com/sites/jeffmcmahon/2016/12/05/argonne-selects-two-next-generation-batteries-to-succeed-lithium-ion/#5c6fa22d646d
This is not NEAH's battery but one of the two chosen is a Lithium - Metal Battery and this is after evaluating 22,500 ingredients.
This shows NEAH is on the right track.
D'Couto claimed to be exchanging technical information with Argonne about the battery then shifted to attending the SBIR/STTR Technology acceleration challenge to try to get a different grant. Is there a method to his madness ? Has there been a change in his strategy or business plan ?
The other possibility: Did NEAH re-apply to shift SBV money to the fuel cell in round 3 and that is causing the delay of the SBV project in round 2. He only gets $300,000 total for either or both.
Questions abound. Maybe the late SEC filings will show some information. If they are ever submitted, why so late ?

I also own oil company stocks after the latest downturn in an IRA and my family trust has land with 2 oils wells in the Permian Basin that was just 3D Siesmic studied again last summer.
I am okay with that strategy as well. Drilling was proposed a few years ago to different zone but was pushed back due to the oil bust, as far as I am concerned I get to win with either strategy.
Keeping in mind that SBIR/STTR that D'Couto just attended was for DOD technology development, I am thinking the new administration will open up some defense spending as well.
The DOE has many aspects tied to the DOD and the new head may be ignorant of that fact, but I think he will become enlightened in the future.

Since we get nothing from D'Couto here is a positive.
I have been looking at Lithium Metal battery information and have posted some of the things here to the biggest shortcoming of the battery which is dendrite growth.
I never heard D'Couto talk to this aspect of the battery, maybe he is just a terrible marketer. But reading the project description on the DOE website there is a small tidbit that I did not remember reading initially. It states as follows:
"PROJECT INNOVATION + ADVANTAGES
In addition to utilizing existing manufacturing technology, the battery uses existing materials for the anode, cathode, the separator and the electrolytes. This reduces the risk of new materials adoption and testing. The technology also includes a unique approach using microchip geometry to control dendrite growth. The understanding acquired through the project will improve the manufacturing of the porous silicon, in particular the metallization process. This will help the company achieve target metrics on cost, and performance, and allow longer cycle lifetime for the battery.
If they have dendrite growth under control this is the major obstacle that has been solved.
So why have they not started the analysis ? Are they looking at this from a different angle before they do that ? Did they get a battery and are running it through a thousand charge/discharge cycles first ? If they did something like that this should count as being active.
D'Couto really needs to give us an update on all aspects of the battery, why is there not a section on the website for this ? All the other battery companies have comprehensive presentations about their batteries.

If you look at IHUB, Yahoo, NEAH's Facebook and Twitter there has been noting even remotely looking like pumping action, mostly unhappy shareholders venting. Nothing positive about that.
Yet the stock is quietly going up, a double from its lows, a little each day and nobody is unloading. That is what he is talking about.
So this is not a social media effect.
Is something happening, who knows, D'Couto has not given a true update on his various touts from the past, ever. He loves the words "excited" and "ongoing" too bad "completed" and "sold" are not in his repertoire.

I really don't think that the "honest" folks at NEAH want us going to their twitter page to ask one by one about all the past PR's about contracts and deployments that went nowhere.
Would it really matter ? Nobody follows them but us unhappy shareholders, although they apparently picked up some new bagholders with the DOE grant.
Last year D'Couto made it sound like the National Lab had evaluated the battery and was pursuing DOE funding with Neah. Yet the SBV program is an apply for aid program for small businesses where the application is evaluated (this was after the March 2016 deadline) and then the small business is paired with a a lab afterward.
D'Couto seems to have an almost supernatural ability to drop the ball and slink away for long enough that shareholders get desperate enough to believe the next bit of fluff.

So far nothing on the Argonne Project, not even a start from reading the DOE status.
D'Couto stated work related to the Grant has started, and that they are exchanging information, yet the DOE does not appear to agree.
Who is telling the truth ?
SEC filings may or may not contain information related to the project and or the "alleged" trial with Liquid Image which was stated in a previous SEC filing.
Since we know "FUNDING" is paramount to this company moving forward with anything, and in last update funding was the failure point, we can safely assume that nothing has happened that is noteworthy in the last 4 months.

NEAH POWER starting out 2017 worse than all the other past years in it's long history.
1. - No finished product to sell to anybody.
2. - No Funding to complete a product to sell to anybody.
3. - No Employees to work on a product to sell to anybody.
4. - No one who wants to lend money to them to work on a product
to sell to anybody.
5. - No office, no change in their story. Always a reset of
priorities in a different direction in order to reset the time
clock for deliverables which are never delivered.
Same old same old for NEAH.

Well since nothing gets done ( on the technology ) unless someone else is doing it, we can probably safely assume nothing has been done in the last half of the year.
No Money and no future expectation of funding unless Argonne can hit a home run for him..and as I have been saying all along, they still do not show the project with NEAH as active..4 months gone by and they still show the status as "12 months".
Why has it not started ? No Battery to study ? no funding by NEAH of the required 20% ?
Why is there never a complete follow though on ANYTHING that this company ever begins ?
The latest pffft story is Liquid Image...what happened with their testing ? their comments on facebook were present tense "with Liquid Image which is currently testing Neah Power Systems PowerChip battery."

The following is from the 10Q for the Quarterly period ending in March 2016 and filed August 22, 2016.
"The Company entered into an agreement with a prospective customer to provide 100 batteries. A $10,000 deposit was received, with the balance of an additional $10,000 to be paid if seven prototype batteries pass tests and certification. Then the order would be completed for 100 units. "

"Q.3 How much funding is available?
A.3 Qualifying businesses are eligible to receive individual vouchers worth between $50,000 and $300,000. The number of vouchers for each program area varies based on available funding."
"Q.3 How much do the vouchers provide?
A.3 The scope of work for each voucher depends heavily on the technology area and implementing lab. In general, a $50,000 voucher will provide approximately six weeks of service and a $300,000 project provides access to one full-time employee for 12 months."

From the SBV vouchers project description and your previous post.
"Through the SBV Pilot, the company will utilize Argonne National Laboratory staff and expertise to determine the optimal metallization scheme for porous silicon as well as reliable and reproducible processes and insights into possible causes of degradation, capacity fade and dendrite growth. "
Degradation and capacity fade - hmmm when you charge and discharge a battery, how close to the original change does it attain as you keep repeating the process ? If not in the high 90% range no one will want to buy it. In plain english...the battery should not go bad too soon.
Dendrite Growth - problem with Lithium Metal batteries and other lithium batteries also, causes the battery to short if the dendrites grow too large. In plain english - battery gets hot, maybe catches fire maybe explodes...SOUND FAMILIAR ?
Not just looking for an optimal metallization to maximize power densities..trying to solve some PROBLEMS.
This is getting redundant as you try to pull nothing but positives and don't read into the complete issues at hand.
JMHO
Bill
You actually need a class in reading comprehension.
I stated as from the article and what the Argonne team lead does and his people are equipped to do and what the NEAH PRs say is a deconstructive analysis. THATS WHAT THEY DO...
Your buddy SPIN is the one who said they needed to build a battery not analyze a battery.
As for the TRL ratings those came from an entirely different site for DOD not DOE where D'Couto went to ask for money. He had to disclose where he was at with regards to development, they posted it, it is what it is. Hopefully they grant him some REAL money to get from TRL 4 to TRL 8 at least...private funding will jump in at that level maybe before.
If D'Couto's battery were truly at 5X as is and ready to deploy/manufacture reliably he would have the world banging at his door.
What D'Couto has not addressed is where his problem most likely lies with the battery but you won't ever get him to fess up, is how many charges can he get before dendrite growth shorts it out.
You are making it sound like they have a 5X battery ready for mass production but are taking the time to go to 10X. While it would be a great thing if this was true, its just not.
They have the same HURDLE at 5X that if it can be cleared can allow them to get to 10X...however, that hurdle is not about the power density, that hurdle is about how many times you can charge the battery before it fails and how much of that ability to fully recharge it retains.( these are the problems they hope to get insight on in the Argonne project )However, these problems are DEAL BREAKERS...no fix, no battery.
Do I think Argonne can solve a problem that has kept battery tech where it is for all these years and at a cost of 100s of millions of dollars with a $300,000.00 voucher ? No I don't. I just don't think that is enough resource.
Is the problem solvable and has it been solved in different pieces and different batteries, the answer is yes. Do those other batteries ( research examples )have the 10X promise and high 90% efficiencies yes, are those batteries NEAH ? NO.
jmho
Bill
I'm gonna take each of your comments section by section.
You talk around things and don't really specify anything to create confusion and then declare victory when the last 10 years of this company history prove you wrong in the most absolute way.
For your paragraph 1. D'Couto has touted many Teaming agreements and more than a year have passed on all with no change in status, you claim the other companies are doing the work when NEAH is the fuel cell expert ( supposedly ) and should be doing the brunt of the work in modifying the NEAH fuel cell to power the other Co's equipment.
As for D'Couto telling the truth, that is subjective, his truth is true at the time and maybe not so much later. As for his insinuations that his products are commercial ready, well we haven't seen anything go commercial. THAT IS A FACT.
Paragraph 2 - Stuff takes time, yes it takes time when it is being actively worked, it takes even longer when it's not. That's the status of NEAH product development - They say it in the filings all the time," we do not have the funds to execute our business plan".
As for Tech readiness:
TRL 4 - defined "Component and/or breadboard validation in laboratory environment" This is where the Defenseinnovation and Technology Acceleration Challenge website put the Battery. This summit just ended on Dec 1
TRL 5 - defined "Component and/or breadboard validation in relevant environment"
TRL 6 - Defined " System/subsystem model or prototype demonstration in a relevant environment"
TRL 7 - Defined "7. System prototype demonstration in an operational environment."This is where D'Couto insinuated his equipment was at with the Liquid Image PR.
TRL 8 - defined "8. Actual system completed and qualified through test and demonstration."
TRL 9 - defined "9. Actual system proven through successful mission operations." Mass production and marketing campaigns begin after this is achieved....NEAH is a way off from here and not by months.
As for the Washington news, what I brought up about it is the key Team lead from Argonne and then listed from the Argonne website what teams he leads and what those organizations do. That is all factual and not a slick word play.
Not including D'Couto's 10 times pie in the sky is also not slick word play, its just not including outlandish comments that a $300,000.00 voucher may not accomplish.
Lets talk about the $300,000.00 voucher you and others of your ilk claim Argonne will solve all NEAHs problems with. Well as I posted earlier from the SBV Q and A. $300,000.00 dollars buys access to 1 full time employee for 1 year, that also probably works out to 3 months for a team of 4 or 6 months for a team of 2 then once you include equipment time the actual project time grows even shorter.
All NEAHs battery problems will not be solved in less than one year.
What are those battery problems ? ( it seems dendrite growth ) is happening when that silicon is metalized. " The below is from some really smart individuals who work or worked at Pacific Northwest Labs ie. another NATIONAL LAB.
Lithium (Li) metal is an ideal anode material for rechargeable batteries due to its extremely high theoretical specific capacity (3860 mA h g-1), low density (0.59 g cm-3) and the lowest negative electrochemical potential (-3.040 V vs. the standard hydrogen electrode). Unfortunately, uncontrollable dendritic Li growth and limited Coulombic efficiency during Li deposition/stripping inherent in these batteries have prevented their practical applications over the past 40 years"
Keep em coming nojay...
JMHO
Bill
Seriously,
You believe these other companies are STILL working to "integrate" NEAHs tech ? And that its on them ?
I think you really do understand that in these fuel cell teaming agreements NEAH is the fuel cell expert.
The other companies are the Robotics experts, the surveilance experts, the body camera experts, they just look for something that powers their equipment for longer periods of time.
NEAH is supposed to provide that, in the dimensions the customer specifies and with the power specs they specify...they just hook it to their equipment like they would any other power source.
With no employees, NEAH is not working on any of that.
Just like they actually got an order for anaerobic fuell cells for a sub company and threw the opportunity away because they did not have money to complete.

TRL 4 basically means D'Couto has a lab experiment, that has potential.
I am not saying that I want news that will pump the price as I don't believe NEAH has anything to say that will pump the price, I am saying they won't have anything for YEARs if even that.
The problem I have with it is that D'Couto let out those articles which point to a product and sales when there is nothing of the sort on the horizon. Not even close.
NEAH power tweeted, " Our battery could change the world " actually they did not say that, they worded a vague phrase that people could take to mean that. What they actually tweeted was "We Think New Battery Architecture Could Change The World " Which can be construed to be a true statement in general, but is not necessarily about NEAH.
There was a slant that was created by D'Couto about having a battery on the cusp, lots of insinuation but no direct commentary on the subject so he is legally in the clear. That is why everyone is harping for news, they expect NEAH to announce something big, soon, when nothing is on the horizon.
Its too bad, this is the same NEAH that it has always been.

Yes lack of transparency.
1 - What stage of development is this battery at ? D'Couto insinuated by Tweets about Samsung's exploding phones that he had a current solution.
There is no information about the battery on the website except PRs.
A Current solution would be able to be produced today. This Is FALSE.
2- D'Couto shows up at the SBIR/STTR challenge to convince them to give him money, and he can't lie to them as to where his battery is at on the development stage. On their website they put it at Tech readiness Level 4, which is a DOD/NASA designation which is clearly defined. No slick wordplay here, that only comes from D'Couto and the vague excuse mongers on this board.
3- No FUNDING. If D'Couto had a compelling ready to deploy product would he really have that much trouble getting funding ? In this case actions speak louder than words.
4- Argonne/DOE does not show the project as active, if you run through Argonne's tweets, when they have something that is really news, they put it out. While they have put out plenty of battery news, nothing on NEAH or it's astounding battery.
5- Does D'Couto really even have a battery ? He has been claiming testing for over a year. First 10, then 100 to be built. Then Corporate shill SPIN comes on saying that what the DOE is doing is trying to build a battery to study and not that D'Couto has a battery that they can study. OOOPs !!
I could go on and on, your pitiful excuses and personal interpretations that don't jive at all with what is factually listed does not help NEAH.
A123 systems spent more than 100 million and failed, and you think a $300,000.00 voucher is going to finish NEAHs development work to produce a battery that beats all others on the market.
