From the SBV vouchers project description and your previous post.

"Through the SBV Pilot, the company will utilize Argonne National Laboratory staff and expertise to determine the optimal metallization scheme for porous silicon as well as reliable and reproducible processes and insights into possible causes of degradation, capacity fade and dendrite growth. "

Degradation and capacity fade - hmmm when you charge and discharge a battery, how close to the original change does it attain as you keep repeating the process ? If not in the high 90% range no one will want to buy it. In plain english...the battery should not go bad too soon.

Dendrite Growth - problem with Lithium Metal batteries and other lithium batteries also, causes the battery to short if the dendrites grow too large. In plain english - battery gets hot, maybe catches fire maybe explodes...SOUND FAMILIAR ?

Not just looking for an optimal metallization to maximize power densities..trying to solve some PROBLEMS.

This is getting redundant as you try to pull nothing but positives and don't read into the complete issues at hand.
