I would not say benefit but influence. More attention is going to be directed at bio-fuels, solar and wind power IMHO. The images of those power plants in Japan are the latest on a chain of incidents that started with Three Mile Island and continued through Chernobyl, etc. After awhile, whether these plants or safe or not, people aren't doing to FEEL safe. And they are going to vote accordingly. Clean Power had a history of solar and wind, when it acquired General Bio Energy by reverse merger. The company could eventually expand its operations to include wind and solar again but it has to start by getting profitable with the cooking oil deal. IMHO.
Good luck to CPOW investors.
That I knew.
However, even enemies should show compassion and usually do. Even during the Cold War the U.S. gave aid to the U.S.S.R. when needed.
This will quickly go off topic. However, suffice to say I certainly agree with you that the fallout from this disaster could influence this stock. It has already driven the Dow below 12,000 while driving specific individual stocks up.
The nuclear power industry may never recover from the bad news coming out of Japan.
Good luck to CPOW investors.
Good point.
I wonder where the market will take it if CPOW were to INK that deal with Chongquin Grain Group.
Good luck to CPOW investors.
Hey Palms.
Welcome back to the board.
I still think the Alabama thing will happen because the Doctor that owned the plant was appointed to the board. I THOUGHT that all that was really left to do was work out the logistics - how much or how many shares and such. Perhaps I am wrong and you are right. Not sure but the company will have to tell us either way.
I was thinking the Montana plant would be for canola since canola can grow in Montana.
I was thinking the Alabama plant would be for SOY coming from Brazil and that that was the point of hiring that guy that has connections in Brazil.
Now that you mention Japan that brings to mind that I don't think I have heard a PEEP out of China on doing anything to help them. Maybe I just missed it. Japanese cooking requires oil too.
Good luck to CPOW investors.
Yep we need financials and the next PRs and I am hoping they also take me up on that idea to get an IR firm with teeth to protect the shareprice in this time of expansion for them. THREE PLANTS they will have.
Good luck to CPOW investors.
I don't know why, but CPOW has a tendency to announce news after hours. I don't know that this signifies anything or even matters - companies on every exchange release news before, during and after hours. Here's the newsfeed to show it:
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/recentnews.aspx
But don't be surprised if any news comes after hours today. IMHO.
Good luck to CPOW investors.
Whoops! It went the OTHER direction.
Good luck to CPOW longs.
Support is a technical term and I am not good at technicals. This stock also seems to move mostly on news. But if someone has skills with technical analysis, I would love to have a t/a on CPOW.
Good luck to CPOW investors.
We have indeed levelled out here in early afternoon trading of CPOW. While the Dow is down 200 points so far today, we seem to be doing pretty good over here in the OTCs and Pinks.
Alright, let's recap what this company actually DOES and what irons are in the fire.
Company's Products & Markets:
1) Cooking oil from canola.

CPOW #24 on the breakout boards:
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/hotboardsrelative.aspx
Remember 30% of yesterday's volume was Short Volume. Shorts have to have this stock go down to cover.
About now would be the time for the next series of PRs.
Additionally, a whale investor (from China?) or two would be awesome.
Good luck to CPOW investors.
The best person to answer this is CEO CPOW, Mike Shenher.
His email:
ir@cleanpowerconcepts.com
Good luck to CPOW investors.
P.S. IMHO there is more room for this to go up. We're still waiting on the 'Bama deal and the Chongquin deal, plus financials which HAVE to be better than the last ones that were pretty awful.
Now THAT'S a full house.
Thanks Qtip.
Good luck to CPOW investors.
1.4 million volume in the first 45 minutes of trading.
Good luck to CPOW investors.
Monday's short data from the Reg SHO list:
Date Ticker Short Vol Short Exempt Vol Total Vol
20110314|CPOW| 1619662 | 0 | 5631339
By the way, interesting tidbit. NASDAQ stock quote shows a total volume of: 5701839.
http://quotes.nasdaq.com/asp/SummaryQuote.asp?symbol=CPOW&selected=CPOW
The difference is: 70,500. Look familiar? The difference is those 2 T-trades after hours totalling 70,500. NASDAQ reports them, SEC doesn't.
Good luck to CPOW investors.
Oh believe me I have been banging that drum for months. I have been pleading with the CEO of CPOW to get a professional IR firm to help them. I am sure he tires of my emails. Uplisting requires a lot of time and money including certified audits. It can and should be done but I think it would have to come AFTER the Chinese deal closes and the company starts being profitable. Good luck to CPOW investors.
Did anyone else notice all those transactions in the LAST MINUTE of the day on the SELL side of the ledger?
http://ih.advfn.com/p.php?pid=trades&symbol=CPOW
Lest we forget, a SELL = the TRANSACTION was closer to the BID than the ASK. It does not necessarily mean the shares were sold.
These could have been buys that were sold closer to BID.
Now why would I say that, might you ask?
Because a little earlier today I bought 1525 shares of a stock that was trading at 18 cents and I told him I was willing to pay .181 for them. The generous market maker sold them to me for 3 cents cheaper, I guess he was in a good mood, right? Surprise, the stock went down 3 cents on my BUY.
Clever folks these market makers. Too bad for them it is looking like CPOW is on a genuine roll. More news and better financials from them and a heavy-hitter (Chinese?) investor or two and IMHO this stock will leave the "teens" and start trading at higher, more respectable, levels.
Oh yeah and what's with that 70,000 in trades after hours - Form T?
Good luck to CPOW investors.
W-O-W! Well done to you guys over here on the PELE board. That's quite a jump today.
This is really something.
CPOW was up 32% on Friday and 32% today, closing now at .14.
Well done CPOW longs. Hang in there, IMHO. We still need news on:
a) Alabama Bio Energy asset acquisition.
b) Chinese cooking oil LOI. This is for the oil itself.
c) Joint Venture with Chongquin Grain Group to build a Canola Processing Plant in Western Canada.
Good luck to CPOW investors.
If only he had bought CPOW. They make a fine lubricant line of products under their proprietary MOPO brand. And it comes from canola oil which is sustainable. But then again, Warren Buffett is not someone I admire at all. But that will quickly go off topic. Good luck to CPOW investors.
Good luck to you Frank.
I would not be entirely surprised to see it go down a bit from where it is by the end of the day, IMHO. Action may be taken by a market maker to curb the buying.
The volume is 4.2 million and there is 2 hours to go.
But in the next couple of days we will have to have news on the Alabama Bio Energy plant acquisition and most likely financials, if not news on the Chinese deal. If the news is positive we should see continued pps growth.
IMHO.
In case anyone still had any doubt that the market maker is up to mischief, my order for 1525 shares at 18 cents was filled at a discount. He sold them to me for 15. Even though the ask only went from 18 cents to 17.5 cents. That was nice - it saved me about $46.
Thanks, Mr. Market Maker. That's $46 more I can use to buy more TelVue.
What did I do to deserve this supreme generousity? I didn't know that I was your brother-in-law, neighbor or college buddy.
Somehow that buy at 1525 produced a volume of 5,000. I wonder how? Did someone else have in an order for exactly 3475 (interesting number) at 15?
Good luck to TEVE investors.
Did you get your foot in the door on CPOW?
The volume on CPOW is awesome today. Just broke 4 million.
Good luck to CPOW investors.
Um, yeah I am in the same place. Nice to see a stock going up but sometimes a bit sad when you don't have more money to chase it. Good luck to CPOW investors.
CPOW in the top 15 of the Breakout boards.
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/hotboardsrelative.aspx
Still up over 25%. Would be interesting to see if this goes higher today.
Good luck to CPOW investors.
Indeed so.
For the flippers out there, you might want to hang onto this one (CPOW) for a little bit IMHO.
CPOW CEO Michael Shenher should be releasing PR info soon about the pending CPOW deals discussed on the board for months.
The deadline on the CPOW/Alabama Bio Energy deal is TOMORROW.
CPOW financials are due any day.
CPOW LOI/MOU is on the clock as well (see earlier PRs).
No recent mention of sales for livestock feed or nutraceuticals but I could see something possibly coming out of left field on those as well.
All my opinion.
Good luck to CPOW investors.
Thank you Qtipjoe.
I see this CPOW has climbed back over .133 now. The buying continues.
CPOW.
You will recall that Rob Goldman an independent paid analyst (not connected to Goldman-Sachs at all) did a paid-for analysis of CPOW some weeks ago. Here is the link:

This is NOT a claim that CPOW will go like that, but I'm just sayin'.
Good luck to CPOW investors.
You will have to catch up on the happenings with CPOW through the I-Box and the PRs.
The CPOW company has had a deal in the works since December to produce cooking oil for China - a company which is STATE-OWNED called "Chonguin Grain Group". Google them or click on the links I have provided in our CPOW I-Box and Stickies.
The CPOW company has brought 3 new executives with good qualifications on board, has been working on acquiring additional canola and/or soy crushing facilities and has a few other irons in the fire.
There was a big smear campaign and a shorting campaign run on CPOW and stock from December forward by Timothy Sykes and Johnathan Lebed. Those that held onto their shares during this will be rewarded it appears.
IMHO.
Good luck to CPOW investors.
CPOW up 24% today after being up 32% Friday.
The Dow is down 52 points and here is our little CPOW up 24%. Good job investors and company.
Good luck to CPOW investors.
I would tend to agree. CPOW management would be nuts to sign a lease like this without having the funds in sight. Whether or not the JV goes through to build a processing plant, Chongquin still needs cooking oil and CPOW now has THREE facilities to produce it - Saskatchewan, Montana and Alabama.
Good luck to CPOW investors.
I certainly hope so!
Go CPOW.
I have not included Bridgeport becuase it appears this facility is dedicated to the production of bio-fuel, not canola oil. This fits with the most recent 10-Q in which management states, "We also plan to research acquisition of a U.S. based biodiesel operation to assist in meeting this production goal and to capitalize on a ‘blenders credit’ that is provided by the U.S. government."
That's a good catch on your part. I didn't notice it or it didn't register. Sort of fits with the Brazillian connection as well. CPOW hired a guy with contacts in Brazil - possibly to get soy from Brazil to crush for biofuels in Alabama.
Go CPOW!
Good luck to CPOW investors.
I like this idea. I would agree. I have to call Scottrade on Monday and see how I can do this for my CPOW shares.
Good luck to CPOW investors.
