In case anyone still had any doubt that the market maker is up to mischief, my order for 1525 shares at 18 cents was filled at a discount. He sold them to me for 15. Even though the ask only went from 18 cents to 17.5 cents. That was nice - it saved me about $46.

Somehow that buy at 1525 produced a volume of 5,000. I wonder how? Did someone else have in an order for exactly 3475 (interesting number) at 15?
