What does a quiet board have to do with selling?
If people are selling TelVue where's the volume? Zero today.
I have been accumulating for months, as have been others I know.
If someone has sold any shares, go over the recent volume and take a guess how many have been sold. That number is so few it would be hard to measure with a microscope.
A float of 48 million shares. About 10 million of these are owned by people other than Gerry Lenfest. With volume ranging between 0 and 45,000 but mostly closer to zero.
HUGE sell off, dude.
Of course, most of my buys have been sold to me at a nice discount (closer to bid than ask) so they look like sells. It's always nice to put in orders at ask and get them at bid.
One thing you're forgetting. This stock is at 28 cents. Many here got their shares for pennies. The first shares of TelVue I ever bought, I asked for at 13 cents and got them for 9 cents. You know what gain that is? 9 cents to 28 cents? That's over 300%. I never had a gain like that on a stock before. Want to take a guess why I am not selling?
This is NITE's Code of Conduct.
I wonder if whoever is handling TelVue trading at NITE has violated this.
http://www.knight.com/investorRelations/codeOfConduct.asp
The drop-down box at the top allows looking at the individual chapters of it, starting with the message from the CEO of Knight Capital.
I was wondering who the lucky guy was that got that buy at 18.1. You know, the one that was sold at bid and looked like a sell.
Good for you actually. Funny, my order was filled at Ask a few minutes later but you got yours at bid. Now that's what I call fair.
Maybe a few folks that have been watching for awhile might consider buying in if they can get some deals like that.
For the first time I can remember since I started buying this stock, the spread is 3 cents. Not 20 cents, not 15 cents, but 3 cents. Things might be looking a little desperate for NITE.
Okay yep the ask is controlled by NITE at .30 and when he gets out of the way it will jump to .3799 immediately (AUTO) for an immediate increase of about 25%.
A friend of mine put in an order for 5300 shares and was sold them at bid today. Big sell off - NOT.
There was a pullback of .0001 a share today. Maybe you want to get a handful at least and see what happens?
You have the Level II now.
Why are we up 100% today? Not that I'm complaining.
Actually that was me that posted TEVE on your board. I think that was the day the stock went from 17-18 cents to 49 cents with absolutely no news from the company whatsoever, no financials and a volume of 11,000 shares.
I wonder why that was?
Delayed level 2 for TelVue:

Welcome to the board, Scout.
Not that it's any justification but there were a ton of OTC/Pink companies that filed NT 10Ks on 3/31/2011 and 4/1/2011. Here's a link for just the 31st.

All I know is I have several pairs of socks and I can go down the street to the health food store I frequently and buy another 30 pairs that are there on the shelves.
Welcome to the board.
This is about a short squeeze.
Any earnings the company has will be icing on the cake.
Men like Gerry Lenfest have more smarts than all of us combined. You don't become a billionaire by accident. TelVue is his baby and he just extended the due date of the loans he has made to the company through 2016. I'm not worried any time soon about the company having to dilute. Never have and never will. This company has an authorized shares of 48M and 38M of those are owned by Gerry.
You are certainly entitled to your opinion. Along that line, where does the figure of 6 cents come from?
Yep, so as I was saying, only around 4,000 shares today could have possibly been sold and I am kind of doubting some of them. One was a sell for $95.00? I've been desperate in the past but I've never sold 95.00 worth of stock before.
I can tell on some of them.
I bought 1550 today.
A friend bought 5000 today.
The 5000 were gotten at a discount. She got them for a few cents below Ask. Such generousity from NITE. The transaction looks like a SELL but it was a BUY. This is because a "sell" is technically a transaction that is closer to BID than ASK and a "buy" is technically a transaction that occurs closer to ASK than BID. A market maker, by selling some shares below Ask, can make it look like there is selling going on.
As a note, a somewhat large order from me (over 5000 shares) was broken up and I got some of them at .319. At first I thought he gave me at least 1000 at that amount but then I looked again and he gave me 300!!! WHAT IS THIS? You break up a limit order of around 5000 shares (good until cancelled) by filling 300 shares? How hard is it to produce 5000 shares people - particularly when you are claiming there were over 8000 sold! Again, I ask what was he doing? Was he hunting for them like Easter Eggs in the Ashdown forest?
I wonder what the rest of the volume was. If anyone here bought some of these shares that look like sells, please pipe up.
This was a paint job today that was a sophomoric attempt to look like a sell off. Sell off - that's a good one. Here's what actually happened today:
A buy of 2000 shares at .392 at 9:37am.
Apparent "sell" of 600 shares at .35 at 9:55am. (this is $210)
A buy of 250 shares at .39 at 11:38am.
Apparent "sell" of 1000 shares at .35 at 11:51 (who knows?)
Apparent "sell" of 1000 shares at .35 at 12:05 (who knows?)
Apparent "sell" of 1000 shares at .35 at 13:38 (who knows?)
A buy of 5000 shares at .35 at 14:01 - made to look like a sell.
Apparent "sell" of 300 shares at .319 at 14:34 -- REALLY? Someone really needed $95 that bad?
A buy of 1000 shares at .3799 at 14:53
A buy of 500 shares at .3799 at 15:15
Now I ask you, if you add up what we KNOW are buys, how much of today's volume are POTENTIAL sells?
Total Volume 12,650 - 8500 KNOWN PURCHASES OF TELVUE SHARES = POTENTIAL sells of 4150, and I don't even buy that. Some sell off -- nice try Mr. Marker Maker.
Good luck to TelVue investors.
And do you notice UBSS is looking to buy shares by being on top of the BID? Yet he is not selling any (no Ask). I wonder if he is realizing he has to cover shares I bought from him the other week before he disappeared for awhile.
Good point.
And I have done some I-Box updates and added one item to the stickies.
Jack
Thank you Qtip.
I actually found several more videos on YouTube, including one of a guy managing his Peg.TV station from a iPad 3G.
A funny thing. When I was a little kid (long time ago now) I always wanted my own TV station. Seems like with these TelVue products that dream could be made true.
Great company. World-Class products. Good executive structure. Awesome client list. There is much for ANY investor to like here.
TEVE. Year-to-Date Performance: +173.44%.
10K due within days.
TEVE. And now it's up 42%.
The stock is trading at 36 cents but he wants 50 cents now (check current level II) for shares.
For some of our new additions, please re-post the rules, Qtip.
As you predicted it came down a little - to 36 cents. But now the ask on my account is .4999 and I am almost ready to buy some more.
The volume is almost 7,000 today. Either someone found them in a mousehole or shorty is back to shorting them. Guess we'll see at RegSHO list time.
TEVE up 11% so far today.
Financials expected today for the year 2010.
Good luck to TEVE investors.
Hm.
IMHO you might be waiting awhile for that to happen.
Look at that graph again.
Per Bloomberg, this company has a 10M share float.
http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/quote?ticker=TEVE:US
I know several people who will put in buy orders today, including myself.
With a 10M float should be no problem filling them, right? What's that - didn't have a measly 2000 shares to fill Qtipjoe's order yesterday? How about today? I guess we'll see.
I've already made a killing on this stock. My first shares were bought at 9 cents (the limit order was for 12 cents but he was in a good mood that day and sold them cheaper) and on average I have paid around 16 cents for my shares. Even with the stock at 35 cents this would be considered a win in penny land. Except I'm not selling. Not only am I not selling, I am going to buy some more. Yep, I think I will do that - if in fact they will fill my orders.
Guess we will see.
This I do not have.
I am sure Mike Shenher will give it to you. I got it from him about a month ago. Or you could try the Transfer Agent.
I'm confused.
Are you saying CPOW is now on the OTCQB versus the Pinks?
It is interesting how that works. Because while you were trying to get 2000 at Ask all day from TD Ameritrade, my friend picked up all 900 shares that traded today through E-Trade. He was willing to pay 49 cents for them (limit order was set at .49), but he got them at a "discount" - 100 at one price, 450 for a little cheaper and 350 for a little cheaper still. Ever see an order broken up like that before? Partial fill at 100 shares? What - were they looking for them under the couch cushions and in the sock drawer? Interestingly his last order was another partial fill and they couldn't come up with the shares to totally fill it so the rest of the order expired.
I guess if we're trying to figure that out, it would appear TD Ameritrade is saying they have no more shares and so is E-Trade. I mean if they had them wouldn't they have filled your order and the rest of my friend's? How hard is it to come up with a couple thousand shares. Normally not very. But then again, this is TelVue. NO ONE SELLS TELVUE. Only a market maker can sell something they don't have. I'm in sales. I would be shot if I tried to sell something I didn't have in inventory. We buy something from someplace and then we resell it. Nobody has sold the market maker some shares to resell.
It seems like even the market makers are realizing just how scarce TelVue shares are.
I wanted to buy more today, got sidetracked and didn't get to it. I will do so tomorrow through Scottrade - that is if they will sell me some. I am willing to pay more than what he is asking. They are worth more than 35 cents people - let's be real. Why is anything valuable - scarcity. The more rare something is, the more value it has. Any coin collector or stamp collector knows that.
UBSS, that sold me some thousands of shares just the other day, is showing on OTCmarkets.com as having no shares available as well.
http://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/teve/quote
So I guess that makes 3 market makers that have nothing to sell me.
Ever been to 3 stores that didn't have something you wanted?
And it looks like we have our first bidwhack.
550 shares purchased and the stock is down 25%. This is a good thing, I can get more now for cheaper.
This one is a keeper. Grabbing all the shares I can get.
For the 3rd time this year, company news has not made it to the News Feed for CPOW. I have complained about this each time. Someone give me a hand. There is however a yellow-highlighted news announcement under the I-Box but it is easy to miss.
Amateur hour is over and the tree has been shaken. Now let's see where we go from here.
Good luck to CPOW investors.
9:30am to 10:30am is what I would call "amateur hour". I try not to buy or sell during the first hour and that rule generally stands me in good stead. Let's see what happens as the day progresses.
Good luck to CPOW investors.
Opening bell in 15 mins. Let's see where this goes today. I am sure it was noticed - by both shorts and longs - that we were up 25% yesterday which is pretty healthy. Although it was another one yesterday that really made me smile. GOOD LUCK TO CPOW INVESTORS.
You could always ask.
The BID is at 20 cents and the ask is at 49. Most TEVE investors are not going to sell for 20 cents. This is a short squeeze.
TEVE. Financials due out for the year 2010 on Thursday.
Recent 8K - loans to company by billionaire Chairman of TelVue's board not payable now until 2016 with extension just granted.
Stock up 160% Tuesday.
I forgot about that link on otcmarkets.com.
http://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/teve/quote
This does have a level 2.
It is interesting that yesterday UBSS was offering shares at 18 cents and today they are completely off both the bid and the ask.
NITE is hiding behind a 55 cent ask and AUTO is claiming to have shares at .48.
