As others have, I received a letter from SENY that offered me shares in new company below current price. That's a not perfect sign for future of SENY. Imagine new private funding cannot happen until someone to short against (buyers of stock)?
ICEL Li-ion battery sounds an awful lot like Musk (Tesla) battery with computerized management. Better hope Mr. Musk does not get wind of this fact, as he may demand 'legality issues'.
Guess who is a multi-Billionaire with similar friends?
Small wind turbines cannot compete with solar
cells from China. Even buy 3 sets of solar cells from Harbor Freight and you can exceeded base unit Wind Charger output by SENY. SENY would have to manufacture and sell under $150 to be even somewhat reasonable cost/energy wattage output in rural location.
Has anyone stopped to think that current cell towers already have proven and used batteries installed? In 3rd world situations, things that are not guarded . . . 'vanish'. You have to how many armed guards/month?
I will not buy this 2-person company owned by husband and wife team, that has never (to my knowledge) made any revs without stock promoters cut and payback. Retail stockholders will be paying their salaries (and placement stock funding selling against you) for years?
Yes one can make a Helix windmill at home and power your LED flash lite and cellphone . . . welcome to the new economy . . . but you better take it inside or it will disappear one night. Note you can buy solar cell window mount charger that can do the same thing (and already made and retail for $35-70) and you can take down at night. USA on way (at present) to 3-5 largest economy and world power in next 10 years . . . unless 1% let loose some cash and help employ USA citizens. Call up Shark Tank and ask them to have SENY on their TV show . . . that will be Reality TV for true believers. Best of luck to all that buy SENY . . . you never know.
I have been in for small amount for months.
Not worried. Maybe buy some in later summer or early fall.
Like that cash increased since last year.
This is not Home Depot. Looking for another 300-1000% in sales and cash held in next 2 quarters. These folks are selling picks and shovels and canned food to Alaskan miners (MJ and vegs crowd)and steady growth desirable, quarter after quarter.
Be professional and wear uniforms or nice clothes to demos and sales calls. Medical MJ will be huge from now on. PFE has over 10 MJ medical patents. Ever wonder why?
Imagine have a solarized, automated grown read-outs and self-feeding mini and mobile greenhouse. That's my dream project.
Put this concept on wheels and be able to bring it into a meeting/classroom/demo. Our schools at all levels should begin developing urban vertical farming classes for their students (major new job sourcing in future world economy). True value is physical capital investment, especially one like food, flowers and medical MJ. Greenery clears the air and recycles the soil. Restart local self-reliance. Good Work, Moral Integrity and Philosophy of Moderation.
PHOT should develop an online tutorial mini-course and show customers projects on their website? Also, go out with portable products demo mini-greenhouse and show it to garden clubs and libraries and parks and tradeshows and community fairs. Do demo set-up and handout sheets at sporting events, with permission. Double and triple hits as thousands learn of this company website and emphasis local growth product stores. Visitors to website will find INVESTORS info therein.
Even if USA economy faulters more this year . . .home-bond unemployed can learn to grow some stuff for fun?
Here's a good one: imagine NASA realizes MJ in space is 2-breaks . . . food and natural med included to tap the space pioneers down a peg or two in mission stress.
Relax investors . . . New Prob-beanos . . . become new oppor-tunes if one takes off the sunglasses and adapts, improvises and overcomes by inner faith and creative action?
Farm Vertically and America Up!
Food and Medical Drugs is real stuff . . . not FED electronic ghosting of freedom and growth myths
ORCL bot sun microsystems (Java).
Now Java would not recently let me load my internet stock trading site anymore, until I agreed to take its JUCHECK.COM(add ware and whatever else from Israel). Cannot get it off my computer. Went to discussion board and others said the same thing, and dislike it. So 'attached' and loading first adware and spyware gets sold by JAVA, to make more $$s profit? That, plus W8 tiles (even if you do not need or want it, but have to pay for it) is formula for losing 10-25% of your users. Imagine what happens when MSFT closes XP Pro support to millions of user businesses in 2014, that do not need W8 system. That should sell lots of JAVA upgrades . . . right?
Look for ORCL stock to explode . . . but which way?
It hard to imagine JAVA will not keep supporting XP users, regardless of whatever MSFT tends to do?
JUCHECK.COM is example indication of path ORCL sees in its future quest for profits online plans. MSFT should buy ORCL and protect itself, while gaining a big patent domain for future court battles. Though I doubt goggle and APPL will not be first in line in a buyout offer. Would government let one of these 3 big boys make that proposal happen?
Probably some friends that have trouble remembering their names?
Cover?
Note he did not bring in a sales expert, engineer, or math expert, or programmer. This must mean we are ready-to-go (where?) . . . or one last hurray and climb off the cliff to 'no-land'?
His team has golden parachutes . . . what do we have?
I got one . . . sell the company to a tribe!
That's original, right?
I got a really fun one . . . sell a ATIG online gambling transmitter to North Korea and pay them to launch it on their next satellite! That's should frost Bush and the big bank credit card companies? You could put it on the second stage booster, and have a pay-out for those that can give the transmission code
received and have registered ATIG retail stock investors proof. That should get you a 'free vacation'? Tax-deducted? Bailey can go along too, to keep company active and open 'new markets'.
It could be like 'crowd funding' in a dark tavern (keep your hand on your wallet).
Ever think Bailey isn't going to fund this with 'his money' . . . and NO ONE else is either?
I saw this guy standing on the corner . . . with a hand-written car-board stating I have kid and wife and am unemployed. Bailey would do that for us . . . ? Bailey's sign would run something like 'Have company . . . no funding . . . and IRS loves me'
I saw one sign that stated I am a drunk and need a drink
Can you help me? That was straight on honest
THE PLOT THICKENS?
Poke Stars bid apparently in trouble with New Jersey Casino (Trumps old casino) Commission and Court? Looks like older casinos do not want PS buying a casino in Jersey and then being able to compete therein (as Poker Stars is respected by its million plus former USA deposited American players that received back their $$s player account + some $$s for their then defunct bonus player earned points). Looks like religious objections to online gambling were used as the rational to force USA credit card companies, to accept federal denial of right of American citizens to play online for cash. Campaign donations, back-room muscle, and preventing first in competitors that had experienced gambling platforms . . . became the means to limit competition? Like one poster on another user board professed . . . criminals double-dealing each other . . . what's with that? Big Daddy (Feds and states) can also get into the pie eating contest.
Great plot lines for aspiring VEGAS screen writers to ponder.
Reality is never far from the Mythical?
So or sew . . . big ? . . . does ATIG pay us 'use-interest' for our locked up cash (shares) during the 'freeze'? If Poker Stars returned their customers cash accounts . . . what is ATIG and Bailey have in mind for us loyals? You only get one guess?
Lets see how Bailey shows 'respect' for retail shareholders.
This might be an indication of how we shareholders react to wanting to be future system players in the ATIG Universe.
I have got another ? . . . how can you hold a Shareholders Meeting during a Freeze? Does a Freeze prevent any explanation from the company (ATIG)? Flash! A certain north coast North America film company is considering the possibility of a new B-Grade Movie . . . tentatively termed Nightmare In Pink: Zombie Uprising.
Those of us who are now forced to live in an abandoned apartment tower basement storage room due to fact our monies are frozen . . . put your ear to the pipes . . . what's that rushing water noise from the high-rise livers next door?
Has anyone ever wondered why retail investors (that have the real hide in the game), have no chair at the board of directors table? I would bet you that banks never invest in anything they do not have privy to, and 'call power' over.
Did we actually have to pay 3 tribes to use ATIG SW for free-user tests?
Something is wrong . . . SEC is not telling us what . . . though a 'freeze' kind of tells something. You do not get that unless things are bad, and SEC is covering itself.
Bailey may be in 'Custer's Last Stand' position . . . unless he or friends pump in personal $$s and hire a real mmgt. type that saves what option(s) company has. Who would buy ATIG's online platform . . . as is?
Best option I kind think of on the spur-of-moment is just expand ATIG platform wit a much better website, offer prizes and win value coupons. Develop a physical gaming machine that is attached to your computer and 'buzzs' your hand ever time you win. Add some electronic 'bells' and flashing lights. Bailey call MCZ and get them to share the development costs . . . they like to put team logos on their game handles and consumer maybe can pick their favorite color and face card logo, etc. to personalize it more. How about a free ATIG online! gambling decal for our mouse-ies? Or, a 'real ATIG Decoder Ring' to show to our friends!
Another possibility: develop an online lotto game with a tribe. Might as well shoot-the-works and get big PR uplift for us stock investors as states and government object and sue. Then run like ---- for the hills unknown.
Any wagers of probability on how long until Mr. Freeze gets defrosted? If Bailey wants to pay 30% on the monies to melt the freeze . . . ---- . . . . we could be business again . . . but doing what? Probably will need a name change . . . how about 'Online Goose Systems'? Dream Janitorial Services?
What a literal downer that the very method left to actually stimulate the USA economy (creating real very small businesses and novel techs that can boost USA out of depression), is wide open to scams and no government help.
Blowing hot air (FED SW $$s)into the bubble phony USA stabilization plan is hardly reaching little local and regional businesses.
ZNGA, FB, and PayPal are an economy?
What happened to things like making physical products?
Cannot fathom that governments and large casinos are not acting faster on this online gambling as a job and tax and profit enterprise. Why does not administration legalize online gambling in DC, by executive order?
It sure is fairly obvious who is controlling the strings on this online stuff. I vote for that being casinos, congress waiting on campaign donations, and big players like APPL and Goggle fighting behind the scenes for position. Maybe ZNGA is the test child for FB or MSFT to be able to jump in and buy them out . . . if they get it going successfully? Online gambling using W8 platform SW . . . why not . . . they could sell appls and open new vistas.
Looks a lot like our ATIG stock is dead to zero, by end of year unless good news comes our way? I really thought ATIG could get something up and running by last Christmas. How long can a freeze last and be an encouragement for new investors (and old) to keep the faith? Maybe one of the tribes will loan or buy out ATIG platform? Then, tribe could go it alone online cash gambling. I doubt the administration is going to drop paratroopers on the resz. Why didn't ATIG actually sell a play-for-profit license to a tribe and get the royals at least? ATIG can't even get a play-for-free game going in NV . . . what's with that? Put free to use coupons on the windshields at Wally World. Or, win free sandwiches and drink contest at local quicks-stops. Better use of retail investors take-a-chance $$s on ATIG , then paying salaries to Bailey and lot. (for what)! Let him draw food-stamps.
Thanks for the comment.
I strongly suspect you are right about Bailey.
Or, he is not great manager?
I never liked the way he played the limited PR news.
He was (is) very cautious, same MO for other suspect pink sheet stocks I have owned.
If you got something . . . toot it to the public (we investors).
Like another poster told, the states seem able to by-pass (force) the feds and congress to action, through states joining in compacts to foster wider range of online gambling client customers.
Only chance now (it seems) is if tribes spilt their allegiance and some would opt to go with ATIG system. ATIG might this way actually get some online gambling business profits.
ATIG could also be BK or reformed under a new .pk name/entity.
International Janitorial Online Game Products <----bad joke
having 3 employees---one is a robot answering machine? Hire an unemployed programmer and let him or her live in the 'office' (suite 3B in a motel).
Tribes have problem: states may or may not need them anymore (from the angle that states will need all the taxes they can get).
Tribal casinos could be vulnerable (in sense of their debt outstanding).
Expect no federal action until after next congressional elections (2014), and current lame duck administration defines its 'lay-of-the-land'. Campaign funding will decide the issue.
Same probability of quick action goes for Mary Jane stocks.
I guess its rocket science (new maneuvering territory) temors for the taxation and authorities. States can't even decide how to place state lotto tickets online, without howls from present retail sellers. They also worry about not getting road use monies from gas purchases, as personal vehicles are not used to run to quick-stops to buy that dream ticket.
I
Is it my false notion, or is the 1st day of Nevada online gambling venue restricted to only within the grounds of legal certified and licensed private casinos (generally indoors)? That's how I had heard the early law was shaping up.
Lets see how IGT, EA, Goggle, and ZNGA and the other electronic kids react to this development. Hell is rolling across the electro plains . . . and static is in the air of the game . . . .
Meanwhile, back in The Dome, retail investors vote the volt.
Bailey and crowd would fund ATIG for another year of fading glory? There is little, of no evidence, big casino folk take note of ATIG and its platform. And, IGT has been selling a branded test set of online games in prototype form for years . . . saw them at office Depot SW section. Looking a lot like Feds have aced ATIG out-of-the-game with The Freeze . . . its a new dance movement.
What brothers me is the apparent inability of mmgt. team to tell investors (now also in the lifeboat call) anything. Sure we had a shareholders meeting, yet to what purpose? Looks very suspect
from legality viewpoint (the corporate point person says 'take your pills, smile, and re-direct ?s on the bases of 'freeze conditions prevent our expanding comments, for now').
Retail investors not suppose to get any data on 'free online players of ATIG system pro-type? What's to cover as super-secret?
Was news not something useful to investors? Something like X online casino users used predominately their own personal cellphones and opted for a range of online time use-age of X hours/online user time/user experience. or, general customer/user comments 'Yeah . . . I loved gambling online again!', 'This is fun!! 'Love being online and no govt. foot-print on my game card or fingers.'
Another issue: I see a guy playing poker on his laptop all the time where I go at a non-casino public site (its free play and gives points and prizes online. Beta-test for less, and then approach the casinos with some user data?
Several years ago, when ATIG had some bounce in its stock price, was the time to get clever and original and innovative. What's our chances as retail investors now . . . over 80% we sink or less than 15% we have encouraging news soon. Big silence and by-the-book .PK/OTC minimal SEC looking over-the-shoulder news releases, etc. Any investors (us) allowed to play the online pro-type SW? Lets hear it.
Is ATIG going to pay for next years rent and State LLC wall paper? Note ATIG has not (at least to my knowledge) give us any indication of how big our 3 tribal casinos are physically. perish the thought of their attendance figures. this, of course, is highly sensitive info. Don't rock the tribal boat.
Will states that approve online gambling with tribe(s), reserve their domain right to have their own government online capability option? Doubt any gov legal-eagles would give away that option. Tribes are in a hard place, between Vegas Boys and states. States join hands with Vegas and Jersey, and guess who is left with way more less than 25% loss of casino bricks-and-mortar customers?
There still is hope for us yet . . . word to those in charge . . . ego can still be saved . . . write a book on it all and/or make a movie: Zombie Poker Attack or Pink Nightmares or whatever. Maybe . . . even make a twitter game . . . can hire young SW geeks to get it up and going (probably make $$ selling hit ads). Do I have to do all the what-ifs and how-POWs? Goggle Android Appl.
Do a Reverse Spilt and ride off into the electronic sunset, name change and redo . . . rinse. Ride that gambling pony!! Surf the machines!
Rides of the doom . . helo blades swirling . . . calling down the strike. Last hand fold . . . tombstone gold
Black raven sitting on the wire . . . up higher
flip them dice . . . drone calling mice

Thinking on buying F, though economic news is 'mixed' for now (waiting for congressional lawyers to figure their 'cuts'.
?:
_What kind of military business does F have?
_Looks very much like F new turbo engine format will hail in North America a fuel eff% boost, that other car makers will envy.
China is going to be tricky with limited urban space for cars and energy needs. Probably see some more down side to China overall economy.
_Price of USA cars is going u over $1K.yr. on average.
That's not much of an option for 40% of auto buyers and those that watch their petro gauges. Jobs and new economy tech training would be nice (particularly if F walks the talk with the pol-leak DC crowd. A private business has to do its own national planning in USA to survive.
Rode in F150 modern and its really quiet and smooth inside the cab. Impressed. Back in the day wanted Falcon pickup with 6V and overdrive, but they didn't negot on vehicle contract . . . so ended up with Nissan pickup. had good credit and some cash for down.
F might go up a couple of bucks or down some more. PMs and oil and NG are in over supply right now and this might make a buying opportunity soon.
Its weird to sit and watch the USA consumer become a credit card slave forever . . . like one fella stated on another board . . . you keep trading in cars and eventually you will have a lifelong overhang of debt, you may never be able to pay off. 98 month auto contracts are here.
Anyone care to comment on me thoughts, and F future.
Personally I think F will make it . . . primarily (dispute what govt. and FED say) F is geopolitically too big to fail.
I strongly suspect F is heavy into Mexico (to Free Trade across the borders and get low price competitive advantage to China Labor, minus shipping costs). Same for Canada. USA future is exporting tech and products again, through neighboring joint ventures? My bet is overseas $Trillions of multinational profits will be given free pass to come back to USA for domestic capital investments. Its the way the game is played. We are the street dust the blows along electrostatically.
F USA and EU earnings could be down and Asia up.
Looking for mild positive earnings as result in May.
F stock price looking a lot like PMs and EU political wet dreams will impact stocks in general.
I find it hard to understand how with NIGA already in existence, the tribes cannot form a viable international uplink platform. Me thinks the tribes fight for position percentage a lot thereof. It would be same as congress with blockheads infighting for prestige and greed. Sounds like a Bridge Too Far Movie remake
I would have to say . . . game! . . . large non-tribes win hands down. Very few tribes can even come to a common purpose amongst themselves.
Our $$s First!!
Will we see an Uplink Confederated Tribe (The United Planet) . . . only as a last stand before they sink.
Meanwhile . . . in Gotham Gaming Enterprises . . . Mr. Freeze continues with his urbane silence of the lamb-ites > Trust Me!!
Confused share-croppers register as echo vibes in the dark alleys,

Hello everyone.
Native USA tribes possess dual citizenship, as they are a legal nation within a nation. Residents of USA administered lands overseas share somewhat the same unique position. When USA corporate cruise liner ships leave USA territorial waters, they are in-effect separate entities and can at least theoretically, operate internationally connected legal online gaming and gambling. This legality position becomes ever more nebulous in the cruise line has its domain ina special status corporation off-shore (from USA).
Maybe ATIG should have gone this route?
A Cruise Line probably is somehow associated with giant international gambling interests (read legalized 'companies and 'organizations'; which have the legal $$s for donations, etc.
Even better, a tribe could access a space communications satellite
link and no one can stop that avenue of international online Sure a nation could object and block its people from receiving and using such a space communications satellite link. I believe a tribal nation in Canada offers its gamblers such a legal uplink.
Americans can go there and do the online gamble think. I might be wrong on this, yet ATIG should have just uplinked itself into international gaming online territory. Would have made an interesting court case, especially if from USA tribal Lands uplink station. "I love the smell of electrons burning in the uplink!' Forget Bit-Coin, try coding Space Coins?
Why the USA Federal Government chose to stop USA citizens from using their credit cards to gamble internationally online, is a moot question. This was accomplished under the Bush administration and most likely smacks of fundamental religion trading political support for preventing 'sin'? The government (at the time of the Bush era) was uncomfortable with not getting taxes from a soon vastly dawning international arena of gambling.
In present times, I would suspect many in congress and banks could come together rather easily for legality bases and ripping the taxes from the virtual cloud.
Is ATIG making phone calls or a flight to OK, to pursue involvement in the OK online gambling set-up?
So tell me you all . . . how does ATIG get the 'freeze' off itself and get new financing? Its going to take millions to get online gambling/gaming going.
Shortarrow613 and board: all these pinkies sheet stocks are so afraid to hold a free online conference real-time, with their shareholders. Its so improper and illegal (in their minds). . . bad boys . . . just went out of the stock market rules. But . . . they (promoters) can send us PR brochures that aren't worth TP.
Will anyone show up for the shareholders meet and will the vaunted online system for casinos by there for investors to try and see? 'well . . . Jeepers . . .you want the Chinese TO COPY IT'?!! Asians are already 'THERE' with online gambling SW.
Also, EU countries.
Me thinks the BIG casinos want online gaming/gambling as the next profit horizon. So do states and cities. The Native Casinos are between a rock and a hard place.
Online gambling is being 'pitched' to be under state and 'corporate gaming' take and control. I wonder if we citizens should just make up our own gaming/gambling website and only members can play online. 'Crowd-Fund' it and start a non-profit corporate that can actually get things done for its members. Obviously, pinkies sheets funding by retail shareholders is obsolete concept for getting anything done anymore. What a shame on America when the authoritarians in China (for example the PLA) can get something going faster than us.
We are not asking for an anti-gravity Mars flight or something herein (ATIG): maybe just forget the legality and trying to kiss up and go off-shore beyond the territorial border limits on a ship and transmit yourself an online for profit and pay prescence. Pie-rate stations . . . what the Eternal Fires . . . Vegas and The Gov are going to drone it? Tell them you were 'fishing' and someone piped the radio show and relayed by accident So, is the shareholders meet going to have online input, and live questions?
To paraphrase a wild movie . . . Deity . . . I love the smell of burning dollars electronically in the morning ( in me home @ jams ). Why should the FED and Treasury get all the fun?
Ask your state and federal Goos for 'gambling stamps' to take away the pain of The Matrix
Firstly, the Bailey comment on Colville Tribe casino in Washington. Hmmm . . . Bailey walks right in and gets a tribe
online contract and ATIG has to fight for years to get 3 tribes on board for 'free'? Soundk like those possible salary figures for corporate head(s?) saw-macs-s of kind of like the total of retail investors stock buys? Or, is this 'self-appointed shares of ATIG stock. No Steve Jobs herein? Anyone goes to Vegas . . . tell Mr. Saw-ven-no . . . to have a talk with this guy?
:( Love that show! Vegas
What's with this 'illegal attempt' to take over the company?
Something is WRONG herein . . . as why no reports on how our 'free' provision of online gambling via I-phones ,etc. came off. Its beginning to look like major tribal casinos never wanted ATIG online presence?
Why have a NV Press Conference or shareholders meeting . . . if 'Freeze' on stock activity OTC? That will go over like a lead mining dump site visit for a battery company shareholder 'get-to-know-your-company event.
WE shareholders (to my limited knowledge) never got to play online promo version of ATIG online Software. Why? ATIG could have legally given each shareholder a set of paper or electronic 'prize' points to play online and try it out. That's kind of like we get to help proto-type the gig. Beta-test for the bros and kitttens. There would be no legal grounds to complain and ATIG would get some player feedback from folks that care. ATIG could also have asked us as player online shareholders if we liked it and would we play it for money at a casino (or if offered to states online gaming/gambling proposals). A little company like ATIG has fairly completely lost its early-in-to-it advantage to USA online gaming/gambling?
ATIG could have hired a bunch of junior college IT classes the right to prototype and brainstorm the online platform software (probably way cheapie than professional level geeks and even pay-epd them some wages. I really have this disconnect that ATIG did not drop-the-ball. There is no evidence they accomplished anything for shareholders but 'net' a game of stock? I will wait and see what transpired from the coming NV powder-$$s-event <---meant as joke. Frustration!
Patience Grass Hopper . . Time Of The Locust awaits
Interesting that BA stated Li-ion batts. not used in normal flight conditions. OK . . . what happens in abnormal flight conditions? Again, land and takeoff climb to flght plan leads to Li-ion batts. used in place of hyrallics and system automated descent, etc. procedures (in windy low-altitude conditions profile, and lower fuel weight balancing compensation via electronic control adjustments thrown in), 'Whose On lst'? BA admitted adding improvements to present Li-ion battery design, rises battery weight by 150#s, negating the weight advantage original battery design offered.
Vibration harmonic effects recognized in problem(s) analysis as possible interactive effect. Icing or above normal rain and buffeting . . . not to mention lighting and airstream aerodynamic static conditions . . . vents? F117 crashes may have had such in some of their air accident profile conditions? Composites are successfully grounded on F117s except in damaged condition from air defense 'incidents' (think holes from random pattern defense brusting tactics). OK . . . what if bird(s) strikes or dust storm involves overseas landings and takeoffs as situations?
BA stock price has maintained (and improved) its gain performance from day of battery problems. Hmmm. Counter-buying that has alleviated fears of investors that stock pkrice would be changing negatively? Wonder who would do that? I now . . . a rich billionarie investor . . . unnamed?
Think BA Big Bones will fly on test flights, ('I Made This!) 'Why are you Test Engineers wearing Space Suits . . . ?' Got China ... could buy BA? They probably already have over 50% of company intel cyberized. Got to put your bonuses on the line . . . this is tech war with EU.
Golden Parachutes, aside.
Get your pizza, wings, popcorn, sugar drinks and beer . . . the aero show is on! Flip the hearings and lets fly!
[Sorry to offend anyone . . . just some thoughts]
Would BA battery Hearings be 'catalyst' to drop BA price 5-15$s . . . naa! . . . not a chance. Roll them Options dice. This will be smoothed over like Dark Swan Swiss chocolate frosting
Japan helped build the 787s and has say 40 to be build in Japan proper (for themselves, one guesses).
USA Congress to hold hearing on 787 battery 'issues' . . . wonder how they wil treatment 'too-big-too-fail'? Repubs to 'jack' Washington State? Not if DOD can help it and Ob-bomb admin.
BA fly one or two 787s BEFORE the hearing happen (to prove their point on dafety of Battery redesigning)? One-upsmanship . . . picka--card . . . take your bet.
Doing some research on future of retail and gaming, etc.
Board poster stated USA economy on potential upswing . . . that and cracker jacks will get you there. Gog and APPL will steadily eat AMmy's lunch? AMZN competition is cloud product leasing?
Shipping, staff costs ever higher, land-use development costs, etc. will just keep going up. Cannot stop sales taxes on all types of vendors and shippers and physical processing sites. Kindle cannot keep up w/ say samsung R&D and production skills. Samsung has lock on cell phone tech. Can AMZN profitably compete against WMT online selling? Granted, AMZN does sell used stuff. I do not envision this growth market for AMZN many posters today are talking about.
Another vexing problem affecting USA economic upswing is only top 20% can afford stagflation. Dream on about Wall STreet and FED carrying USA economy forward . . . due to new magic consumers and things like droughts, etc. Fuel costs will come down, while wages and employment go up. Sure. USA is collasping into underground economy and DIY, credit is maxed out unless we can offer automatic birth-to-death credit paymt system. All these big companies may have piles of cash . . . but who will be buying their wares, at higher and higher pricing points? Stockholders? Hopium for sale bigtime.
5-10% online retail annual growth seems more reality for AMZN . . . as sales tax collection lessens the edge for AMZN. Think another worldwide Great Dip as we race to the bottom. One of two situations is happenning now: Governments are full of intellectually challenged . . . or they know there is NO way out of this.
Lets really believe the above is nonsense.
Looking at 'water wars' & 'waste wars' as investment ideas---how sad for humanity and planet.
Problem w/ waste sponge: where do you dispose of it and its accumulated waste burden?
My answers: WM receives it for a fee (who pays that?)
Night comes and you burn it, drop it in a landhill, or sink it in the coean. If WM receives it . . . you are in musical chair situation or round robin . . . write-off to taxpayers. Waste never degenerates quickly (and some cannot bio-degrade). Cultural and economic suscide for living quality: think future is Blade Runner + 1984. We invent but we accumulate waste and disease and mutant genetics.
Abtech holdings is trying to move 'civilization' to green-ism, while making a profit to enable greening to continue. Unless we can learn to speed up neturalizing clean recycling processes . . . there will be no need for energy and water and air and food and space wars.
Where is brain of business and governmental members?
Its not focusing on America First, you cannot be strong example for others without strength, order, health and cleaness at home.
You cannot absorb undeducated masses into your country (especially from bordering countries). Commerce has this latent idea that mouths and butts make a civilization of quality living.
How is that going? Instead of China . . . we should be helping Mexico and Canada, working with the Americas is job enough for us to partner on with them. China will do fine on its own now, they are quite capable. USA needs to desperately stablize itself, or we fall to 3rd world status.
I like ABHD . . . yet some posters are right . . . its stock price is totally dependent on rev contracts and public body decisions.
We slowly continue to drop in price. The monied sponsors of congress and numerous public administrations, seemingly have no clue they will be in same boat as rest of us, unless we can decide to innovate and find ways to lessen harmful activities and
sucessfully recycle for bio-balancing.
Anyone have any other water/recycling stocks to offer up? CERP is another I own (working on bio-degradable plastics). Amazingly, USA still does not have offically active encased storage underground for nuclear and toxic wastes. Is that psycho-denial . . . as we race to create more pollution and 'designed waste'?
How soon before ABHD announces private placement and R/S . . . for critical funding needs (w/o revs)?
USA is nuts not to immediately start funding and actively oversighting small companies, to create new domestic capital businesses and jobs and taxes thereof. We are going to have to produce our way out of this deep recession, via infrastructure jobs and recycling jobs and local businesses. And, both parties and working poor are going to have to fore go their pride, and quickly enact free tax returns (no penalties) for multi-nationals huge profits held overseas into USA and Mexico investments, or ask for more domestic investment and $$s from Asians nad Arabs oil rich.
Never bot in, as do not have the $$s.
Note O-Bomb never bot a tesla for himself or the whitehouse (yet dumped $100s millions into Tesla). Not saying he should or shouldn't.
Though . . . administration seemingly has 'distanced' itself from Telsa, due to repubs attacks. B. Sanders is probably only DC person with guts enough to ride around in Elon's supper car with him, if Mr. Musk drove one up and parked it by Senate? Now that I think of it . . . GM was where the emphasis had to be . . . to preserve 100,00s of thousands of USA capital wage jobs and present auto parts suppliers.
Elon Musk will have the $$s from Space-X contracts for Space Station resupply flights and SCTY solacell lease, to carry the weight of Telsa for a few quarters (if need be).
Do not see how congress and administrtion can play 'who's on first', when lower and middle class is desperate for jobs like infrastructure contracts. Elon is doing 'build-the-future . . . they will come' job task that both are suppose to be doing. Big difference between the Steven Jobs and Elon Musks of business world and law lawyers and Bankers?
China now putting big $$s behind AONE battery company, a potential competitor to TSLA battery design (from Japan). Another China move: it has been reported by UK sources . . . that Geely China will probably win the bid for near bankruptcy Fisker EV company. Another administration attempt to foster advanced USA EV, for our future AT markets. On a brighter note, SCTY and Honda are cash partnering to place solarecells on Honda customer roofs and Honda dealerships. This will help USA energy independence and lessen danger of dependency on obsolete USA power Grid. Again, Elon finds way to save his companies by working with USA Ally, that is bringing a new EV model to USA, multi-task inter-company goals and markets----->while assisting the environment and help get us off coal power plants. Wonder if Obomb could award a freedom medal to a USA citizen, who loves his now chosen country? Should have done it at the State-of-Union Address to Congress on Live TV . . .forcing Congress to stand and clap? And why not take Elon and walk out the door together.
TSLA may have a few blury quarters this year, depending on how the economy goes, but it will survive(and I think, prosper).
P.S. Mr. Musk is rumored to have offered his help to BA DreamLiner battery problem(s): his solution involved placing space and insulating plating between batteries and their cells. It was just announced BA may have found a solution to DreamLiner battery problems . . . according to someone close to BA testing program . . . I won't say what that BA solution is. This is hardly cause for BA stock rally, as it will take a number of governments and their aircraft safety regs reviews . . . to be approved and its costs to park empty DreamLiners that are not making profits for airline customers?
I hold only a small amount of stock (as an EV gamble).
My feeling is they may plan to use ZAAP (USA) in Calif., as a way to quickly develop a USA company base. I suspose that the Chinese might then do something with the Aperta (?) style EV they bot up from a BK company? I can't remember the exact name for the 4-wheel EV that was in the X-Prize competition. I do not know if ZAAP 3-wheel EV will be kept. Both designs have (+)s and (-)s, as features unique to each.
We shareholders of whatever size are left to count grains of sand on the beach of time, until we 'see' their cards. Realistically, I cannot
envision that either EV design can now (years later) be competative with modern Chinese and Western EV designs. They would have to come in under $20K price range? And, have improvements in safety and interiors? Remember, both EVs have not a lot of track record in use, by customers and what about getting repair parts?
Another way to look at these EVs is who would throw $$s at hoping consumers would opt for them. In this current world economy, its very doubtful little cash flow EV companies would have a customer s
design acceptance place, to compete against TOY and TSLA and GM mindset.
I would hope I am wrong in the above thoughts.
I lost alot of money (for me) trying to play small pinksheet AT companies, as I thought the administration would move to develop small companies, to spur USA employment. Instead, it looks like the banks and NY exchange stocks got the stimulus $$s. And, they gave AT to other lands and multinationals.
BA managment chain is MBA top heavy.
Non-engineers (why do we have to listen to scientific talk?), mix with line-people . .. thats just not team analysis with software). Never talk with passengers or service crews. Thats the economical plan: lets build overseas and teach our 'stuff' to . . . our friends.
Egypt and Iraq now leaning towards Russian commerical and military orders? Iran with more population base than our oil allies in ME . . . can't buy Eu or USA cause of embargo.
Liyba will order somethlling . . . I think . . . faith-based logic. China steadily gaining insights to how to make commerical jetliners and mandate for its domestic market.
Mil-comerical USA marketing set for next-generation sales . . . a bridge too far. Examples DreamLiner and F25. MBA business plan couldn't even be inclusive of cheap O2 sensors in masks and O2 feed lines. Were DreamLiner batts brought with individual cell sensors included? Space-X batts withstand launch and space environs. Thats dumb! Lets go with Laptop and Cellphone manufacturers, my textbooks said go with the largest volume manufacturer to get the best(price point).
USA and BA with egg-on-face rolls: meaning FED is pumping into banks and I just wonder what stocks they roll into? Note 'they' are not buying into infrastructure. Heaven forbid 'they' option.
Ray-Gun said 'trust but verify'. Maybe he should have been teacher. Lawyers and MBAs are the new regime. Honda walked the assembly line and ate with the workers. Guess who they felt was working together on a common goal? I will bet a loonie penny . . . that BA BODs never talks to MSFT and Telsa about planes and games.
Clay feet . . . new mil and commerical aircraft are progressively reliant on electronics signal pro-dee-call . . . crew operators barely able to fly except of fly-bye-wire. Foreign procured electronics . . . have back-doors? Geepers Mom . . . my R/C thingy just got a mind of its own! Ground controller over. Ground-Control . . . ?
Question of the week: will Congress zap-screw itself to save America? Sandy, snow storms, summer droughts, 10 yr. old DC-ites . . . stay tuned kiddies . . . Bong-Bong stock fall-ies?
Bye-the-way . . . where is BA astroid warfare defense system contract? Something evil comes this way. All call Iron Dome 3!
I doubt FCEL wants to test $1, as they have just rcently been hoping to become a higher level type of stock in customer eyes and those of investors?
I have bot the stock before several times and made money. May very soon buy back in.
Of all the public FC companies, FCEL is closest to showing quarterly profits from now on. They must have a much better fuel cell than BLDP ro PLUG (which someone mentioned they could buyout).
The biggest problem for PLUG and BLDP is cash on hand and actual
contracts that could lead to revs. They are too small to succeed, and their tech seems outdated when faced with NIssan and German companies alliances that are buiding with diferent partner groups(and this includes F in one of the alliances). These two alliances plan to throw $Billions at Fuel Cell tech R&D in next decades.
Can Fuel Cells be cost-effective without H produced by fracking NG and also burning oil and coal, to get the massive amounts of energy needed for personal vehicles? Is this the plan the energy companies have drawn up to beat EV vehicles? Others say hybrid-fuelcells will be wave of the future. Anyone have ideas on this subject? Wind farms are starting to use NG as a backup when wind conditions become subpar. Fuelcells could become direct energy generators to the grid as backup, in such situations?
Another angle to all these notions above, is current administration in DC is backing down on EV in-use targets for 2015 . . . and new energy sectry coming up. Is a NG pipeline deal coming, as way to get congress and president, to create 'happy-days-are-here-again!' net new jobs and oil company support (great export $s to earn while paying some lip to USA energy independence)? Think NG power plants, pipelines, railroad NG cars, and NG container ships.
Hello to board.
I just have a few shares, for now.
I am in for long haul.
Wonder if vrng will buy more patents (like from Kodak or someone, when their $$s come through from the trail rsults?
I have no doubt that lawyers for VRNG already have other legal oversight opinions, as to strength of the ring-tone patents, etc.
They would never waste their money chasing a dead fish. It never would have when to court, unless VRNG had oversight of judge and staff as to having a case of substance.
This is completely out of my field, though I do read the broad for knowledge.
Minimum I expect herein ($$s payed to VRNG from this case and EU German case), is $50 Million 'to leave us along and drop dead' settlement before the verdict is disclosed.
VRNG does that say with 3-5 more AT vendors, etc. and it should give shareholders multiple times to earn a profit, after bying back in as share price drops on such news.
Big danger is someone invents a new type of ringtone . . . and tells VRNG 'have a nice day!' In such case, VRNG acquired ringtone patents might have little value in immediate future?
This is the way I see VRNG . . . a group of smart lawyers found some concrete patents they can use to ring up some settlement fees. And, we do not really know what other patents they acquired that some AT vendor might also want to have in their patent defense/offense safe. Did I get it right?
Hope setlement(s) get us $$s . . . though $1-2 Billion seems a little farout speculation.
Please drop the stock price, so we can buy somemore.
I feel like I am in on 'The G--d Wife' TV show, as a lottery ticket holder?
Some random thoughts on BA battery issues.
Are the Li-ion batts. in question, units the size of those in power tools, or larger? Is each battery monitored for temp/draw demand parameters? I should assume that they might begin flying some test flight 787s with plenty of test equippment on board and with full pressurized flight suits and extra data recorders.
I assume 787 is fly-by-wall aircraft, with a number of hydrallic systems replaced with electrical powered stuff. Does the 787 have a back up (and seperate cable system isolated)fly-by-wire system for rudementary flight control in emergency situations?
The 787 was a 'bridge-too-far' technology upgrading system for a passenger liner?
Did on-board avonics (think radar waves) cause energy wave harmonics in an interaction situation with batteries cell composition and circuits? Did battery company have experience with producing li-ion battery packs for flight regimes (pressure, vibration, temperature) flight cycles?
The Dreamliner battery space may not have been designed with sufficient volume and dimenional capacity, for other types of batt use chemistry parameters.
Maybe BA should go talk to TELSA about their battery design monitoring systems . . . Telsa uses thousands of smaller Li-ion batteries with a computer program that actively monitors each smaller battery . . . and can turn them off and on through the battery package and thus prevent excessive drawdown rates (that can cause temp spikes and internal battery pressures as a result).
It will be an interesting question for reporters to ask of
BA and battery company and FAA.
BA system and business planers should have second or third source of Li-ion batteries already integrated in their business plan for DreamLiner Black Swan scenarios . . . right? MBA talking to engineer who is rolling his eyes 'lets solve this quickly . . . can't we just drill an exhaust port to deal with this?'
Battery provider of Li-ions might be able to drop out some internal Li-ion battery cells/plates and install computer switching on/off circuit pod, in each Li-ion battery. Call up Eldon Musk Telsa head and see what he and his people think on that conecpt. DreamLiner may also have to reduce flight manever profile battery draws, to lessen this eventing from happenning. Aircrews would have to be re-trainned on this change in ascent and descent avonics fly-by-wire deployment regimes.
Another possible 'fix' might entail electric thin-film solarcells to help 'smooth' the fly-by-wire avonics systems operational needs. Meaning . . . one deploys slower and sooner avonics fly-by-wire demand flight profiles. That could be what transpires, to keep'um flying.
Whats strange about this is Li-ion batteries are used in aviation and other flight defense systems designs, and with no released incidents of same performance instances.
I missed it . . . waiting for somemore price fall, when @2.13 range. CIMT is evidence of another SW 3-D company, that may be cheaper than AutoDesk to use (though . . . USA company might be feeling more secure with AutoDesk).
ONVO will be in cash positive IF insiders now chose to take their profits?
This would hardly cover their need for personal wealth.
MM . . . hmmm.
PFE involvement should keep other potential buyers off back on ONVO?
The Vegas 'coin flip' will soon turn?
I will sit it out . . . as I suspect we go down in price.
I have no expertise in stock. Could hit below %5s when it drops . . . though where will its real support range be.
ONVO has no real revs . . . except research grants, cash sells from where it is? Can anyone compete with ONVO medical/mechanical 3-D patents . . . thats the rub . . . who has big $$s and lots of legal staff? And, would PFE step in to defend itself initial stake? Retail does not know that specifics of their parnership/association . . . or LOU legality.
OT: I own a little of SGLB (metallic/other media marketing 3-Der).
I am content to wait and watch ONVO for now. BOL to all
Noted you on battery company stock site.
Will this company be testing its battery in 2013?
In 2013 company objectives, not much mentioned about that.
Little OT: I noted both North Korea and iran and Syria have not attempted much in solarcells. Civilian nuclear power is great for Iran, but their major reactor is old design russian tech and above ground. Stanford Univ? has developed thin-film, stick-on solarcells that have *=eff% to current solarcells and can be made using present production equippment . . . add in SCTY solarcell lease A-Z business model . . . and FCs have their work cut out for them? BLDP,FC, and PLUG . . . are low priced stocks right now. What do you think of them? then, there is that NPZW? group near Seattle area, with solid state FC. Any comments accepted, if you would.
I like this stock and its worth a try with its techs.
If it drops a bit . . . I will buy some.
Bio-fuel is rather dead . . . but pushed by agro-businesses and farmers. With coming summer of Mid-West droughts again . . . food will start to take over from bio-fuel? In my opinion, Bio-Fuel will work off animal and human wastes. Sewage plants have methane burn-off pipes, would this power MVTG battery?
Have you heard of earth tubes----heat and cool dwelling from piping below frost line?
I am watching WM,and currently into Mary Jane (pot) stocks, online gambling stocks and internet software patent wars. Hemp growing in USA holds great potential as low-water, wind barrier and numerous commerical products useage.
Iran should foget its military buildup for now and get along with West, while installing gaint vacumn cleaning towers like Paris has for air cleaning, cut holes in its hills and install gaint turbine fan tunnels (one side entrance and other hill sections exist tunnels)? Light rail mass transit also. Sad our countries cannot work together to save oursleves, and our precious seas and planet. USA and EU could make alot of coin and jobs trading with Iran for gas and oil, and they can help us in Afgan/Iraq stabilization plan. Instead, we pursue 100 year war, tragically damaging our collective survival changes. Humanity is the menace to our planet and its self . . . regardless of solar system effects and earth geo-tech change cycles.
Post went astray.
China RE: 'funding issues' . . . OK. Note that China just recently passed huge AT funding pkg. Raytheon and DOD absolutely accept right of China to gain its CYPW super-tech . . . that and a bowl of quarters will get you cup of truth tea?
NASA Astro-Bagspowered by CYPW . . . maybe reefer-madness?
Solar Storms and space Back Swan Events could cause trajectory issues . . . ahh DOD can you spare some nuke ICBMs to modify our project's deviate earth-direction travel?
Bio-Fog Fueling: sure . . . a great idea with droughts and water shortages . . . not to mention our new family super-size modeling. You have to love USA national planning. Bio-fuels is wipe-dream from farming states and agro-business. Actually, biofueling from animal and human waste is feasible and necessary, but thats NOT the target feed source.
LSRR: bet of luck . . . not date specific preformance specified.
Note that CYPW boat record run could be done in internatioal waters off coast (if you can get pass the swamp eaters fighting the pythons). Another clever USA national planning . . . wonder what does get in FOB?
Harry should save all the CYPW shares and then sell on craigs and at antique shows.
CYPW has what . . . 7 years of backland R&D . . . sealing, combustion, and other issues? Always the mockup engines in the show protos . . . never a drive around the show site to display their innovation?
CYPW as a small generator for remote users . . . we thought that one up years ago . . . I sold out and made $$s on CYPW . . . anyone making any now (on the retail side)? I doubt any place for another ICE fuel engine . . . as solar electric keeps innovating (paste-on solarcells now that have *=eff% and can be made with current production line and solar leasing model.
Harry made a big mistake . . . should have prtnered with toy company and comic book china printers . . . and had stead sales. He could call it exotic Steam Dreams with Tank Girl in tights.
Should have good sales to military folk stuck in distant outposts and dark night dreams.
Write and ask Harry for paper issue shares to be sent to you each . . . they will be worth something in later years to steam buffs.
Into weed issues and internet phone patent wars now.
Imagine . . . a pot smoking steamer! Its somewhat fun to stop back and see the discussions on this board.
Made money on ATIG once.
Still have some. Looking bad for now, with no news . . . means nothing worth reporting. You called it . . . R/S only thing coming now, and yes, it seemingly is true about loaners stock moves.
Not a word about any ATIG Neveda attempts to register intrastate internet chances. Pot and internet paid gambling . . . tax $$s and tourist for states . . . where is the beef?
Big trouble if ZNGA ( which has the $$s on its balance sheet) firstly cements its Neveda/NY, etc. sports betting model it is working on with BWIN ( which is in UK and EU with paid poker, etc.) And, whats APPL, GGGL, MSFT types going to do now, for new $rev model? Scientific Games and other slot game companies and casinos all feathered up too.
Would anyone step in and buy up ATIG, to get its patents and tech and Tribal path experience? THQI (now THQIQ?) is BK and had some folks off company partnered to use their old video games, and repoed stripped down for new internet phone games. Where is Car ICon folks to vacumn up these little VG/SW companies and Shake-Rattle-and Roll a new Paid Internet presence?
OT attempt at joke: saw on Mars Rover space site.
They were talking about chances for really finding signs of life on Mars. Guy stated . . . put a Wally World on Mars and all kinds of strange life will appear. I do go to Wall, so maybe I don't dress super or something?
Next thing to see is if short-term traders from *$10 take some profits. Have noted that daily stock price gains most often fall back to roughly -50% of day's move top.
No news until march 1, meets potential next fiscal cliff effect on SCTY. One would hope that a lease model would not be effected by fiscal cliff hysteria. 2013 will be big year for SCTY, especially if next Space-X testing milestones are met and $50K car sales jump-start. Wondering if Mr. Musk is putting solarcell leases on his new charging stations, particularly those that go near hotels, large shopping centers? Does he pay out of pocket for these recharge center grids? Or, getting state and federal rebates on those?
I (and surely others) would like to hear some feedback from those clients on their solarcell/AT leases. Still sitting this out, out, for now, though I do consider SCTY a very rationale investment, compared to .pk electric car/battery companies. Have not bot anything in last several months.
Listened to video in which Musk felt BYD (lower priced EV from China), wasn't any realistic cometition to his $50K EV. This backs up lately sales figures of domestic EVs in China. Apparently, PLA members and contractors are not thrilled with domestic Chinese EVs.
SolarFeeds.com had artl., that China company felt they could by-pass any USA solarcell tariffs, by using Mexico plant sites and Eastern EU plants to ship to USA (don't you love Free Trade Agreements). Would, then, Chinese look over Musk lease model
and decide to vertically integrate their own business model, and copy it with lower-priced install and maintainance labour?
IPO for SpaceX may happen in 2013.
This makes sense to draw all of Musk projects into same basket of cross-tech and financal inter-support possibilities. Musk might consider Bigelow Aerospace private inflatable satelite capability, for a Space-X launch payload protype mission. This inflatable sat has NASA and military expansion ties, as well as
tourism in LEO and gene-tech/space industies avenues, for additional contracting. Flexible solarcells could be installed on things like solar mirrors for ion-proplusion/robotic/manned astroid mining base station missions and experimental Mars Mission techinvestigation. Incorporating Nitrol or Memory electric wire design shape meshs, with the Bigelow inflatables, brings all kinds of things to mind. Selling Space-based solar systems to clients in the above scenarios, would apply to Musk list of firsts (e.g. private space base utilties?).
Wonder who is selling up and down daily this stock?
Nice call by board member that SCTY had 'stablized' in base support in high $9s. I had expected it to fall below $9. It still could. Maybe w/o more up-scale news . . . SCTY price does not exceed $14 for now. Only infrastructure or more war can be immediate USA ecnomic jobs booster. Next round of the 'Cliff' may see administration barter some AT spending increases, for social program cuts. USA socio-economic stability . . . 'what me worry?!!' We do not need permanent sit-on-behindism for general and skilled USA population verses new capital and tech domestic job growth . . . Eldon gets its . . . maybe it is rocket science. 'Bridge To Far' logic for comfortable speculators and drones.
Stanford University experimetners revealed in Dec Scientific American they have successfully developed a flexible tape-on solarcell that has same general % eff as current soarcells. It can be apllied on paper, glass, and other materials like plastic. It can be produced on current tech equippment also. This might be revolutionary for car bodies, clothing, bulding windows. It did not specific if direct thermal temps would greatly affect its operation, nor vibrations and nuclear rads environs. It seems waterproofing capable at present. Its cost was not mentioned. Probably several years from production and use, unless some company or DOD backs it? Wonder if Mr. Musk has wondered over to 'observe' it?
Will it change his solar lease business model soon?
Can everyone just become their own solar installer now?
GE and Dow cannot be overly happy. Who gets there first to 'zone' the patents?
Its square shaped . . . oops no patents for rounded corners on 'objects' and clothing art designs!
SCTY popped up this morning, lets see how that goes.
When will next quarter earnings by approximately? Jan/Feb/Mar?
There were several hot air, hot water roofing/solarcell tile firms in Calif. What their % eff was I do not know. Is it DOW that has the electric solarcell rooftile combo (has less % eff *7-9% range). If you need a new roof at time of solarizing it might work, cost-wise. Lets see if SCTY choses to install such in its lease program. An ausy inventor combined a electric solarcell in sky surface clear water flowing roof tile, that I assume also was replacement roof tile. Never heard of it again.
Water cooled solarcell operating temp. to normal range.
One problem for SCTY that I have not seen addressed, what if customer watns latest solarcell/AT install and its has 'novel' manufacturing/user problems ( e.g. AONE batteries use examples). Does insurance eat-it . . . or SCTY wrestle with original manufacturer?
So will taxpayers join together in class action suit petition against administrtion and congress, due to their lack of ability
to protect USA citizenry from 'poor performance effects' of their sworen oath jobs? Not a happy land if we go off fiscal cliff, thus I would surmise we don't.
I would kind of be embrassed for energy secty.
It seems administration investments (and under past admins.also) was merely to startup techs and then let them die. We retail sit and watch and hop for AT progress from small .pk companies with some novel techs, yet they are sacrificed on the table of zoom trading. I venture to say much of Wall Street has no goal of fostering clean energy, etc. I do think SCTY is not like that, real $$s in it by owners and friends. Our very freedom and success as a nation is at the sell? The 1% seemingly do not get it . . . they will suffer along with rest of us. They are willing partners to end of our biosphere. They and their children will wear gasmasks in coming daily life in large cities. Mr. Musk is thining about the journey to The Singularity and realizing intellligent machines really have no need for biosphere (but we do). Joe SixPack . . . 'What Me Care?' We are other directed by media away from dawning reality of disconnect.
I do have belief humanity will prevail . . . but not exactly like what we want.
I foresee those that have $$s and useable credit will come to filter through the garbage on rooftop and solar farms, and get the message of beening able to lease and have more free society and personal useable wealth via solar. Musk is the Henry Ford innovator in energy and travel. Fastinating that biggies like GE and INTC are hestiating to adopt AT as revolutionary business model. China may not do everything right . . . yet one has to see the evidience they have a rather clear national goal . . . become No. 1 or close to it . . . in AT. Multinationals lay both sides of it against the middle, they believe they can have both world concepts of profit and power. I ask the board . . . explain to me how americans will be able to buy their own solarcells without domestic productive assets and jobs . . . Eldon has the right stuff . . . let me lease your power useage and energy independence to you! His business model just gets better as solarcell eff rises, disasters and shortages eventually come along with more stagflation.
I suspose I should just put in a buy order to be filled at less than current stock price range . . . as no one can perdict the next two quarters. I will give some thought to that. I am small time investor, though I do like profits scenarios, and SCTY looks quite possible (even with present sales and lack of positive earnings. SCTY is APPL and Goggle and MSFT in their startup phase . . . good luck to us all. The stock casino is just toss of coin in the end, after all the examination and projections. May the New Year float our boat.
Not to be argumentive, I would doubt Mr. Musk and friends would let SCTY fall that far down in price. We really have no public (yet) data on who sold, short % of float, and possible positions held by say hedge funds and the likes of Blackrock. They seem active in TSLA. Eldon owns 30% so is his safety 'pill' to prevent takeover of float (he can counter sell/buy to prevent outside forces bent on lowering stock price). Wondering if George Soros aproves of Eldon and his ventures. I suspect he does.
Administration position of China solarcell import tax, might force the Chinese to get clever and start manufacturing in Mexico (Free Trade Duty Free?), or just 'come-on-over' and do the TOY thing. Hard to solarcell tax locally build solarcells with USA workers employed. Plant site chosen state(s) would fairly cry 'bloody murder'!
Worse case, fiscal cliff position, SCTY solarizes its TSLA plant.
Thats probably a fair guess of where SCTY stock price future pourtains [$5-9 on cliff fall effect]. Wonder if Musk and fellows sold into the rise to $13-ish area and down into $10s? I suspect that would have been way to vacumn up some cash for backing themselves up in this venture. Not a real problem for long-term vista investors.
Were the USA economy to continue its sloping, SCTY is set-up to survive with its leasing model. FED, FHA, QEs, etc. all same willing to now see solar farming as way to keep the Ti-tan-icky afloat and cruisng along. They (in my view) made a big mistake by not moving to place bank$$s into home owner rooftops, and owning the grid backfeed in 2007 continue the bubble economy. That would have kept homeowners in home, payed green bond 5-7% profit, employed as installers, etc. and paying taxes. Goggle, Wall World, and APPL got it. So does Musk, as our small timee
rs savior. SCTY may have noather averge quarter or so, until anti-cliffing startup desperation of economy and social order debacle sets in with the power plays. Is it not amazing, how those that can't become golfers and DC party people? The best that money can buy? Lets see how that goes in 2013.
If the average folk have finally realized that cellphones can replace handset connections billing, and wifi=low cost movies . . . what up next . . . leasing solarcell roofs to cut utility bills whilst having emergency power option(s) expanded?
Do not be overly surpised if Eldon propses a robotic moon mission with NASA, to advance his Astroid Mining venture technology.
TSLA should be watched also for 'cliff effect'.
Not seeing the Travel Tube from LA to Fisco going to happen, unless administration overides the $50Bil HS Train, due to budget shortfalls. I wonder how passengers would react to trip acceleration needed to attain 30 minute travel time and then, get de-accelerated. Diapers and no fulids? A great way to test space mission launch slot choices and get Space Academy freshmen all buzzed up. The tube train could carry feight and mail nicely instead? Idle comments during the holidays, best to all.
Very cool artl.
America needs to pay more attention to building its citizens towards preforming their best. Many critque this approach as faulty authoritarism (parents are supposed to make this happen). Survival of The Fittest philosophy gets mixed up with 'Crowdism', and we end up with lessened copy of active minds and morals. Efficiency is more than shaving parts until we get the low cost bid. And, humans begin beening turned into just parts. To lose admiration for our fellows, means we design and built without love.
The fallback for Musk becomes SCTY, to survive whatever is coming down the pike. I guess we go over the fiscal cliff to get the all-around cuts that everyone wants in the final action, yet can't bear to part from their share of the grand pie.
SCTY is the perfect model for the perfect storm.
Leasing rooftop solar and home AT, gives Telsa the breather space to survive, and probably Space-X profits. The artl. did not address the astro mining venture, which starts with the small observer net of searcher satellites soon to begin to be launched to document near-earth astroid fly-bys and intial celestial resource recording. Very big talent and $$s behind that. It only takes a few robotic mining palyloads from space mining, to return billions of $$s of rare earths to earth . . . and just imagine the novelty sales of said rings and things. Mr. Musk is the rare kind of person that instills creative talent release in others, and they from around him as a focal point for their energies. He's the guarter back that can pass, run, and block which brings teady progress. Maybe, Silcon Valley has transfered some of its Disney Dust . . . into its business ventures. Nevertheless, thats not so bad is it?
America needs desperately engineers, scientists and a blend of business types to make the political puzzle work better? A little poet and astist would not hurt, as they do look at things differently. The dollar sign is not always the best gauge of progress.
Desk-bond accountants hardly give us the dance of dreams.
You Go Eldon!
There are some new developments coming in Li-ion battery tech that enhance their range.
Nice summary of Mr. Musk and enterprises.
In reference to the tube intercity traveler . . . the Chinese have conceived an elevated spread legged 'glide commuter' that has travel rails for its glide legs just off the sides of a freeway road. i would assume these are somehow enclosed to avoid vehicle and ground walker encounter. Its loading points are elevated also along the (say three or four story height), to matchup with the elevated glider commuter travel height, over the freeway. By adapting to an already build highway route, this form of commuter design might be very competive with Musk tube commuter costing? Maybe Musk is also considering to use freeway sideline or overhead spaces for his tube traveler? This type of design and siting, rises the question of wheether those spaces might also be open to SCTY solarcell farming, for part of its proplusion system? This could bring another of Musk design companys into cross-marketing and profits foldins.
This type of overhead transport might be cost-analazed for already comute feasible, short-range build-outs.
Even though the very recent stock volume has stablized, I still hold off from buying in, until I observe what kind of 'party' shorts and longs have set-up for the 'cliff celebration'. The effect I foresee is fear hestiation or that of 2-7% across-the-board loss of buying power for all consumers (especially those dropable from defense and government employees ( if we all gleefully jump into the unknown). And, I would expect a 'burbs' drop in business for Telsa and all Musk businesses, as I side-effect? The USA has very vague national planning goals (at least publicly), or do I fail to envision that the 1% will do just fine, without the 99% having quickie infrastructure jobs and taxable incomes? I never attending Harvard, thus I must be somewhat confused in how profits are made, while beening substainable, in the community sense.
Folks forgive me . . . I was double clicking on post (slow learner :(
Another thing I foresee for Solarcity is that Musk has brains to branch out into urban/rural Vertical Farming (e.g. attaching automated greenhouse to urban houses, earth tube heating/cooling stabilzation, and passive solar exposure with insulation R/C).
He has ability to integate businesses asymetrically and make one feed the other, and thus, developing additive multiplier capital useage. He is right stuff for armchair investors like BAC to attach to for long-term profits.
Banks have been unable to adjust themselves in how to invest 'to big to fail' stimulus bucks from FED.
Imagine if Mr. Eldon gets Telsa and EVs users to realize the savings they can derive from extra solarcells on their garage. There is often also complains via greenies that e.g., Telsa car does not have solarcells built into its body, to help extend cruisng range. This might be a way to extend EV range and provide backup to distance between EV trip rechargers?
I wonder if Telsa should have made neat 2 seater for local EV use in under $17K price range, after the Sports Car EV model caught on?

I see maybe more shorting to come ala fiscal cliffing (at least).
In my view, this company is essentially creating urban residential/business stand-alone solar farming. And, SCTY could also be a potential vehicle to stablize housing market, by providing an incentive for leasees to be able to manage housing costs through lower utility bills. SolarCity creates a definite base for disaster emergency stabiler, for reovery from clamities and utility cost inflation potential.
I like it that BAC and Goggle are in on this . . . long-range thinkers and biggo pockets. Gog also can help with appls. SW interfaces costings (something BAC can use to watch its profits asset cost effectively). Musk is Henry Ford combined with Steven Jobs and some hype force included. An intellectual business focus.
