Thanks! Two great first to market products!
INTERSTELLAR TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
INTERSTELLAR was shot using a combination of 35mm anamorphic film and 65mm 15 perf IMAX FILM. When presented on 70mm IMAX, the sequences shot on IMAX are printed full quality in their native format- the highest quality imaging format ever devised, offering almost ten times the resolution of standard formats, and filling the giant IMAX screens from top to bottom. The 35mm anamorphic sequences have been blown up to fill the IMAX screen side-to-side using a 6k digital DMR process, the highest resolution processing ever used in a feature film presentation. The finished picture switches between the 2.40:1 and 1.43:1 aspect ratios at key dramatic moments in the film. This is combined with a specially made IMAX uncompressed sound mix for the most immersive presentation of the film.
The digital IMAX presentation has been created from 6 and 8k scans of the original film elements, graded specifically for the high contrast IMAX dual-projection system. When presented on digital IMAX, the sequences shot on IMAX will fill the IMAX screens from top to bottom and switch from 2.40:1 to an aspect ratio of up to 1.9:1. It will also carry the uncompressed IMAX sound mix of the film.
When presented on regular 70mm film, the IMAX sequences have been optically reduced to 70mm 5 perf film to produce a grain-free, ultra-high resolution image, cropped top and bottom to fill the wide screen. The 35mm anamorphic sections have been blown up optically. Both processes are photochemical, preserving the original analog color of the imagery and combined in a 2.2:1 widescreen presentation. The sound is carried on a separate Datasat disc to produce state-of-the-art 6-track digital sound.
The 35mm anamorphic prints have been made photochemically, preserving all the rich analog color and high resolution of the original 35mm anamorphic photography. This is combined with new 4k negatives produced from 8k scans of the IMAX original negatives, cropped top and bottom to create a seamless 2.40:1 scope image. The sound is coded on the prints in Dolby SRD for a 6-track digital playback experience in most theatres.
The digital presentation of INTERSTELLAR has been created from 4 and 8k scans of the photochemically- color graded film elements, fine-tuned in the digital realm to maximize the color and contrast attributes of digital projectors, and dust-busted to achieve the cleanest and most stable image presentation possible. The film was mastered in 4k for the highest digital resolution currently available.
The sound on INTERSTELLAR has been specially mixed to maximize the power of the low end frequencies in the main channels as well as in the sub woofer channel. This effect is present is in all available presentations of INTERSTELLAR, all of which have been designed to play back at the volume level designated by the industry at 7 on the Dolby cinema processor.
Got it?
Claiming that simply switching an LCD from a CRT is nothing more than changing the display is uninformed about video game visuals and a clear indication of a clear lack of any understanding of display technology.
CRT technology is far better for the human eye than LCD/LED/Plasma display technology. When connecting the identical video game to a CRT and and LCD, the visual quality on the CRT is far superior for many reasons. I won’t go into a long description here, you can read the patents once they have been released to the public. What I can tell you is that phosphorus persistence provides a much smoother and better image for high speed movement across the screen. Display manufacturers have worked for years in an attempt to get flat screen technology as smooth as CRT technology, and it still is not there.
Resolution is only one, and not the most important, aspect of good gaming visuals. In 2004 Aaron Hightower and I were working on ways to improve the visual experience of UltraPin. This led to many discoveries in the display technology field. Aaron was the first to publish a lot of this research on the Internet which lead to dedicated forums on the subject. Amazingly, a decade later, most of these techniques remain unused in the consumer and gaming markets.
Improving the quality of flat panel displays is an ongoing effort by many companies including NanoTech, and specifically the Gaming Labs division. This technology requires several improvements to current displays, including replacing the drivers and display controllers in the panel.
Claiming that using any mouse or keyboard for input is also just more uninformed rhetoric. Timing input of player reaction is immensely important, and standard USB devices currently on the market do not provide nearly the type of resolution required to make gaming input fluid and fine-tuned. Users can perceive input resolutions in several multiples of what is offered by current USB input devices. This is easily seen by comparing the feel of current mechanical games when compared to digital implementations of the same type of game. This is another area of research that started on the UltraPin product and remains unsolved in the marketplace today.
This is one of the silliest threads I have read here. And yes, it
makes no sense
Good thing there are no intellectual property thieves in NTEK
Wrong again.
No factual errors here, right? Straight from the US Department Of Justice's mouth...
The charges were contained in separate indictments
Foley illegally produced the products
Global VR, which had previously acquired all rights to produce and sell games under the UltraCade name
d from his job by the time the loan applications were submitted.
more misinformation.
DeKett resigned to move to a new company.
I was not forced out, nor required to step aside, I only served as interim CEO until a CEO could be found.
Jeff has a lot of technical experience. Clear Memories is a technology based company, and one of the leading innovators in ice carving technology with all carving done on proprietary, in house designed equipment and software.
The continual dissemination of lies and misinformation is ridiculous.
indictments and convictions are very very different.
Nice
NTEK has no dependence on HHSE for anything and is not intertwined with HHSE. NTEK created and operates VODWiz for HHSE.
The NP-1 was held back to update to Android 4.4.
VODWiz is currently not available in 4K, only SD.
correction, no fraud took place. Only conspiracy was charged. Please don't overstate the facts.
The NP-1 has no dependency on VODWiz.
This evaluation is so full of holes it must be made of swiss cheese
(pre-reverse split)
NTEK has toxic convertible notes sitting out there that will need to be converted and dilute the p*ss out of the OS.
Lotus Capital will wind up making a bundle.
financials that don't add up ($5.1M in untraceable source revenue
claimed but only $34,000 in the bank)
, selling convertible notes
claiming "partnerships" on its website with non-entities like the HDMI
claim partnerships with NTEK on their websites
paying $16,400 a month rent to a family member
paid stock promotions
Wrong, a Board consists of multiple members, not a single person.
Yes NanoTech purchased the scanners paying for them with no financing and no leasing
No member of the Foley family or anyone you listed owns any part of FS Global capital
You are mistaken.
NTEK has been on the top 20 most read list for over a year solely on the merit of the company, and the discussions around it.
Were ya sentenced ta prison
Was it for fraud or just simple theft of anothers product?

Appellant’s motion for bail pending appeal is granted. Appellant has shown, by clear and convincing evidence, that appellant is not likely to flee or to pose a danger to the safety of any other person or the community if released. Appellant has also shown that the appeal raises a “substantial question” of law or fact that is “fairly debatable,” and that “if that substantial question is determined favorably to defendant on appeal, that decision is likely to result in reversal or an order for a new trial of all counts on which imprisonment has been imposed.”

if you don't have an NP-1 or NP-H1 to play these on, then any 4K capable device will work, just open network stream.
If you have a 4K capable PC, use VLC Media player http://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html
The share count has not increased by 80MM shares. From what I've seen it only grew by around 20 million. Given the recent key personnel additions, content acquisitions, and employee stock plans, I'm surprised it's not more. The next quarterly financials are due on May 15th and I'm sure they will contain the issues for the first quarter.
NTEK files quarterly financials that include all share issuance so everyone can see exactly what has been issued and who it was issued to.
Those financials also contain a list of products and services that NTEK offers for sale.
Thanks for the good wishes.
I don't have that information, sorry. Even if I did, I couldn't post it here. The company files financials each and every quarter, you can find the information you are looking for there.
It's not hard to figure out when the NP-H1 is the best selling 4K media player in the market.
promise?
FACTS
60211 model code is associated with the NP-1. This is easily verified on the FCC website now that NTEK has filed a report in their own name instead of just with Foxconn.

And to debunk more misinformation, notice the manufacturer listed on the product.
Simply untrue, the NP-1 has already publicly demonstrated 4K HEVC at NAB. There are several HEVC providers that have code that runs on the ARM processor, and the Tegra 4 is one of the most powerful ARM processors in the market.
K1 is so powerful you wouldn't even need to use the GPU, you could do it all in CPU.
and far beyond
You can't flash an NP-1 image onto a Mojo, it wont' work. Copying the NTEK apps onto any other device will fail with a security error.
Mojo only runs 1080p, and doesn't have the option to run in 4K.
You can clear fog with smoke, mirrors, and misinformation.
If you look at the demonstration sign on the Panasonic TV it is clear that it shows that the NP-1 is streaming. The demonstration at NAB was a streaming demonstration, not progressive download. The NP-1 demonstrations at all trade shows have always been streaming, not download, not local play. Further, it was streaming using H.264, with no quality loss.
Bandwidth is not a problem, and demonstrations at 10mbps were shown at NAB, and 10mbps and 6mbps at CES. Anyone with decent cable modem can stream 4K video without an issue. Network requirements are going down as well, soon you'll be able to stream 4K as low as 4mbps.
Comcast offers 25mbps for $29.99 a month
AT&T offers 18mbps for $44.95 a month
Both would offer plenty of bandwidth to stream 4K without an issue from any of the 4K providers including NanoTech.
Akamai is making a big push to streaming providers as they have one the best edge networks, where they will cache files allowing for the best user experience.
NanoTech, Netflix, YouTube, and many others have all "bet the farm" on streaming with great confidence that the networks can handle the bandwidth needed for 4K.
That's funny considering it was at NAB showing HEVC clips running for hundreds of thousands to see.
haven't seen an insider post, while you continue to try and make claims such as "dividends will never happen"
