Have you ever read "Arrowsmith" by Sinclair Lewis?
With all the misinformation being embraced and science being rejected, it seems that it would be an extremely timely story once again.
Well if Gaddafi said so, I guess I'm just going to have to believe it!
I know it's probably difficult for everyone to believe, but I wasn't there when it happened so can't tell you for sure...
Edward Jenner's vaccine wasn't a true vaccine in the modern sense. It was purposeful infection with a disease (cowpox) that, while closely related to the smallpox virus, was a milder disease than smallpox itself.
It was the last European pandemic kicked off by the Franco-Prussian war which led to the development of more modern vaccines. Actual eradication of smallpox in nature was due to a coordinated effort by the World Health Organization starting in the 1960s.
The major automakers are having to slow production due to the lack of microchips.
So where are all the microchips going??
And why has George Soros been in my brain commanding me to naked short sell penny stocks ever since I got my shot???
Who needs a vaccine when you have the cure?

"The death has been suggested to be due to the ingestion of large amounts of colloidal silver, which the group had been promoting as a COVID-19 cure."
I sold the May 7 $11.50 put after the guidance dumped the share price. If they finish in the money, I'm thinking I'll buy back half and do a short strangle next week at $11 and $12 - depending where Friday's close is anyway.
That doesn't make any sense. Sit on the bid and if one gets filled, go sit on the ask.
Not that I trade pinky garbage...
Well, I don't have any personal experience with the Knights of Malta...
There is at least one more connection there...
Hint: It's geographical...
My own experience with those organizations is that they were active in raising money and distributing it charitably.
And Oscar Zoroaster Phadrig Isaac Norman Henkle Emmannuel Ambroise Diggs had 'em all fooled as well. He was smart enough to go by the initials of only the first two of his nine names, dropping the last seven. If he had dropped the first two and used only the last seven, would the outcome have changed?
And there was an enormous amount of anxiety raised early in the twentieth century over that.
And just exactly what does Warren Buffett think he's up to?
If brain damage is a Covid side effect then yes, you might be on to something.
Ivermectin is used for de-worming livestock.
"A doctor practicing in the 1870s observed that smallpox mortality doubled (from roughly 7% to 15%) after adoption of smallpox vaccination."
He was probably referring to the results of the Franco-Prussian war. The Germans mandated that their troops (but not the general population) were vaccinated while the French were skeptical of it's benefits. Napoleon III's army was essentially a reservoir of smallpox carriers and during their travels and incarcerations as POWs among the civilian population, triggered that last wave of a smallpox epidemic across Europe.
Polio wasn't necessarily a death sentence. But it was still devastating to it's victims. I'm old enough to remember classmates and fellow Boy Scouts who needed leg braces and those metal crutches that had the handles down the side and the metal cuff that clasped their forearms when weight was applied to the handles.
"Franklin Roosevelt founds March of Dimes" Roosevelt may have had a personal motivation? Do some research...
I coached baseball when my kids were young. I came across this article a couple days ago and man - it's spot on: https://www.ihsa.org/News-Media/Announcements/more-officials-better-fan-behavior-needed-in-high-school-sports
People who never volunteer a second of their time but show up for games and give coaches and umpires a load of their crap...
Ahhh, so Admin makes them wear masks! No wonder no one knows who they are!!
Thanks Paulie. Your explanations regarding the inner workings of I-Hub help everything make much more sense.

Now that you mention it, I guess I did know the archived messages are there forever. It's just that I noticed the "Remove Msg" button this morning on an archived message. Although the button is there it doesn't do anything.
Lol, I'm easily confused enough as it is!

Just tried that and no change. Windows 10 running Chrome. So then I tried it on an Android device again using Chrome and the same result.
Again, the button works on messages selected out of my main mailbox, just not on ones selected out of the "Inbox Archive".
No biggie. Just wanted to delete some old junk but didn't want to go with the nuclear option and use the "Clear All" button.
Geeks: When reading a PM, the "Remove Message" button appears to be inoperative.
Edit: It's only inoperative if I try to delete a message from my "inbox Archive" It does seem to work if I'm reading the message from my "Mailbox".
The truth?? Donnell's kid is in on this as well??? 'Course that might make sense - after all, he's got that battleship...
Lol, then why are they selling them? ENZC insiders dumping shares into the news is a much more logical explanation...
Wow, Turner Stadium looks exactly like the Eisenhower office building.
I read some books by Noel Barber some years ago. Although fiction, they do a great job of setting up the historical background.

The Ptolomeic rulers of Egypt were not Egyptian.
The most unfortunate thing about the library was that it concentrated the knowledge of the ancients and therefore inadvertently made that knowledge more vulnerable to a 'cancel culture' that later arose.
Ok, you score with that one. But simply being "not nuts" is a pretty low bar.
Another topic: We banked our stimulus checks. A lot on the 'left' feel that is a terrible thing to do. But I can think of worse.

That's easy: Neither.
"Yeah, I looked it up too. More complex than I remember being taught."
Ummmm, this Republican managed to tap that out without looking anything up. Now that I have refreshed my memory, I'll remove the 'at least' qualifier from the comment about the Hanover (Saxon) line.
The point I make is that the "democraticunderground" commentators you linked to may perhaps be faulted for much the same reason as MTG and those of her ilk?
Are they viewing people/history/events using far too narrow a lens, while at the same time labeling those without an identical viewpoint using far to broad a brush??
"Also - have they never heard of 1066. Angles and Saxons disappeared into the mists of history a very long time ago."
Some Republicans are smart enough to know the Norman conquest was a battle between Germans and Scandinavians. Where does the 'Nor' in Norman come from?
And while the Normans did conquer "Angle Land" it could be well argued that it was the Normans who were ultimately assimilated into Anglo/Saxon culture. English is a Germanic language with a tincture of Romance and very little Norse. And Germans have "ruled" England at least since the Hanovers.
Lol, is the first time we've ever agreed with each other?
And the attorney that signed off on it has already been spanked at least once by the SEC for pulling a "fast one": https://www.sec.gov/files/Judg11-cv-80038Geraud.pdf
No, I wouldn't waste my time. I already know I'm not going to believe anything that he claims Zhabilov's pig stomach mucous concoction can treat or cure.
