Read the SB-2, look at the shareholders, lawyer, auditor etc.. Same group.
Well we can agree there.. both sides have some wackos.. but the right has a slight lead at the moment haha.
What was McCain thinking when he put Palin on the ticket??
It is really hot in here.
It is really hot in here.
Then it must make you mad they came in and destroyed the Republican party huh? Truth be told, if it wasn't for that I would probably be a Republican.
You can't sit here and honestly tell us with a straight face that isn't the case? The platform shifted from fiscal conservatives and states rights to some twisted morality code and Christian fundamentalism.
The Democratic party has it's issues too, don't get me wrong. But when looking at both parties, it is the Republicans.. who are no longer Republicans. Abraham Lincoln would roll over in his grave if he saw the mess the Republican party has become.
Well, that **IS** what your side says constantly.. pas de touche!
I lived in Germany for awhile while in the Army. I will have to say, the German way of life was far more attractive. They do pay some pretty high taxes and you do hear people complain about it, however they seem far more happier. Crime is almost nonexistent and you can drive as fast as you want on the highway because they seem to be smarter too haha! They also are far more "free" to do as they please than we are in the U.S.. So much so it would make right wing religious nuts heads explode.
If I had to compare the U.S. to Germany in a quick sentence..
In Germany everything was very efficient but inconvenient. In the U.S. everything is very convenient but inefficient.
That was the key thing I noticed.
The Right can't stand statistics and science, after all most are fanatical Evangelicals! God is speaking to them, telling them everything they need to believe in.
The United States will no longer lead, Mr. Obama all but declared. Instead, it will step down to join the crowd. Good will and fellowship, dialogue and negotiation, accommodation and consensus, shall bring civility and peace to a fractious world.
Our Country hasn't lead anything but an imperialistic expansion agenda. Might not be such a bad idea for America to come down off its high horse and work along side fellow nations.
The last time our Nation lead the world at anything was landing a Man on the moon.
Since WWII ended, the U.S. has been at war non-stop somewhere in the world, whether through direct involvement or indirect involvement. That is a fact nobody can deny.
Buyins has always been just a promotional gimmick to make money selling his report and a tool for promoters to use. The site, nor the guy is worth the time.
Republican Gomorrah: Inside the Movement that Shattered the Party
Haven't read the book, but the reviews are good reads on their own.

I'm sure parts of it will fail and others will succeed. That's what congress does, they negotiate. The problem however is that they are not in meeting's trying to debate fundamental problems with health care and finding solutions. They are in meeting's negotiating a way for everyone involved to save face among their constituents.
I've already stated that my ideas are not represented at all. I'm merely along for the ride in all of this. I have NO control over what happens at this point. If I don't like what happens, then I will vote accordingly in the next election. It really is that simple to me. I do not get fired up over things I can not control. It is simply a waste of my energy.
If I could have it my way, I would completely abolish health insurance companies entirely, they do nothing for the industry. I would institute a Government run single payer system. It would be run by a board of directors, of which would be represented by individuals from the various industries. The government would control and cap pharmaceuticals.
At the same time however, I would abolish the IRS in its entirety. A consumption tax of 10% would be placed on all goods bought and sold except for clothing, housing and food. States would be able to levy their own taxes much like they currently do. There would be no tax on capital gains.
Common sense subsidies would be put into place for the poor.
National Service would be mandatory, at the age of 18, everyone would be required to serve in the Military, or provide public service (park clean up, administration etc.) for a period of 2 years.
Victimless crime laws would be removed from the books. Prohibition of Marijuana lifted. Items such as "junk food", "fast food", alcohol etc.. would be taxed at 30%. This would be used to pay for education programs.
College should be made affordable at all costs.
Last but certainly not least.. the ending of corporate finance of PAC's.
I could go on and on.. but, as you can see, I have my own list of things I would do if I could. None of which have any chance at all of being discussed, much less passed.
Took awhile, but the truth finally came out huh?
Check out MIMS and LGBS filings for affiliated parties.
Just a theory but I believe they were shells created for a similar purpose as the pink sheet shells they used. I guess they figured they could do the same with larger companies by using more attractive OTCBB shells.
I believe a lot of these issues stem from the new 144/145 Rules, specifically Rule 144(i). This was pretty much the death blow for the Minnesota and Texas 504 loop hole. It pretty much made a good majority of pinksheet and greysheet companies worthless for merger. Under the Rule changes a company that had ever been reporting, or considered a shell, must register with the SEC in order to use Rule 144. The rule changes were retroactive and did not allow any grandfather provisions.
It basically made pinksheet/greysheet stock illiquid and no ability to use Rule 144, under the provision of Regulation D, to remove the restrictive legend.
No need to apologize. I'm not offended by Liberals, or Conservatives. I actually can get along and have a cordially disagreement with anyone.
I don't judge people and I don't surround myself with judgmental people. I find it to be an intellectual turn off. Shows a persons ignorance really. I guess it is one reason why I am anti-religious, they tend to be the most judgmental of all people.
There really is no such thing as a "liberal" and a "Conservative" they are just labels and stereotypes created by groups to discredit the other. It takes a little thought and intellect to climb above that noise really.
Last I checked we are individuals with the ability to freely think on our own. The problem is many simply are to lazy to think for themselves and they subscribe to a template stereotype because pictures are so much easier to understand.
"You Liberals"? Who said I was liberal? Last time I checked I'm a Libertarian. If anything that makes me a moderate. I lean left on some issues and lean right on others. Stereotypes are for people who can't think for themselves. Kind of like having a book with lots of pictures.
It is always "us versus them" isn't it? Always has to be strife, conflict?
America has become a toilet, nobody thinks anymore.
It doesn't keep us safe (9-11), it doesn't keep our friends happy, many local populations protest American presence. I'm not sure you realize how many countries we are in.
I'll give you some facts, we have a Military presence in 70% of the worlds Countries. A total of 135 to be exact. At any given time 17.6% of our entire armed forces are stationed in foreign countries. Over 25% are in Iraq. Here let me show you our glorious global empire.

Funny, most of those who serve are lower class, poor people. That would make them Democrats right?
The correct term is "Hajji", very seldom did anyone use the term "rag head" while deployed to Iraq.
If you want to use slang, use the correct term :)
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=hajji
Yeah.. okay. Peace purposes. I didn't realize we were responsible to keep the peace all over the world. You know, I think that was the same reason the Romans used too. Guess what? they stretched their military too thin, their political system went into a tailspin and.. well the rest is as they say history.
Sounds kinda familiar doesn't it?
I'm not sticking up for anyone, I'm simply pointing out both sides of the problem. This isn't a one sided problem. It takes two to tango.
Nope, your right I haven't seen it from the barrel of a gun perspective. I have seen it from behind the sight and trigger.
There are two sides to a conflict. Have you ever seen what white phosphorus does to a child? How would you feel if you were the source of that white phosphorus. We called it "popping smoke". Worked great in tight places. Was pretty funny at the time.
Taking fire from a distant window of an Apartment complex? No problem at all, nothing a 1,000 pounder won't take care of. No local air support? No problem, a couple 120MM HEATS will do the trick. "BOOOM... hey Johnny see that building collapse.. man that was way cool.."
Incoming 60MM mortars? That ain't shit.. radar provides the grid, we fire back 155MM. Heavily populated area? Who cares.. "Can't wait to get back to playing my playstation back in the hooch"
You want to talk about Civilian causalities? I can talk about them till the cows come home. The only difference is I was the one responsible, my unit was the ones responsible, my Country was the one responsible for killing them. Broken hearts are no different whether they are American or Iraqi.
It goes both ways.. a War is two sided. We are not innocent in this, we elect our leaders, we are responsible.
No, the Western world started this in 1947 with the creation of Israel by partitioning Palestine. You need to learn your history.
I'm not saying what they did was right, it was horrific, horrific enough that I joined the Military to get revenge for our country. However, I learned a lot while I was in Iraq. I got a chance to see the world through their eyes and it made sense to me.
I'm sorry you can't see the greater problem.
I'm pretty sure Israel can take care of itself. If anything I'm more afraid of what Israel will do, not Iran.
So you think Iran is developing Nukes for offensive purposes? I hate to break it to you, but it is OUR saber rattling that is pushing them to become nuclear powers as a deterrent.
We have troops in how many countries? How many bases do we have around the world? Who is truly the aggressor?
We exert our military dominance over the middle east because we are addicted to oil. We created this problem in the first place On November 29, 1947, when the United Nations General Assembly voted 33 to 13, with 10 abstentions, in favor of a Partition Plan that created the State of Israel.
We stuck our nose where it didn't belong and we have been paying the price ever since.
Hatred will only cloud your judgment. I let hatred cloud my judgment so much I joined the Army to kill "ragheads". I picked the most destructive combat job I could, 19 Kilo, an M1A1 Abrams Crew Man. I left my cozy $60K+ a year Project Management job at age 28 to serve my country in the most lethal tank in the world.
I served two combat tours in Iraq, OIF1 and OIF3. I spent a total of 27 months in combat. I earned 3 Army Commendation Medals during combat operations. I have seen far more brutality, destruction and death then you will ever witness in your life. However, I have not let it fill me up with hatred, if anything it opened my eyes.
I will say that after seeing life through Arabs lives, had I been born one, I would want to kill Americans too. We are just as much a part of the problem as they are, if anything we are the problem.
Excellent post!
I thought I had you on ignore, but for some reason I can't get your posts removed from view. In my last post to you, I don't care much for debating with someone who is always trying to "win" the argument by changing the topic. That is not the purpose of debate.
I however would like to reply to a few of your comments.
"If, as an employee, you think your being taken advantage of, exploited or whatever get another job"
An extremely narrow and naive view of the problem. This might be a fine concept for a large city, but in most rural places in the United States there are a few major employers who provide employment to the local community, think Flint Michigan. You should watch the documentary "Roger and me", pretty interesting considering what happened with the automotive industry recently.
So, by your comment, instead of combating the issue of corporate greed, you answer to the problem is "get a new job"? What a brilliant concept!
would you allow, as part of the union, the right to strike
and if so, would you allow the right to cross the picket line
with other workers?
Um, under Right to Work laws what difference would it make? Your question shows you don't understand the issue.
Here let me provide you a link to help you research these topics. http://tinyurl.com/yeapjm5
"Unshaven" I think would be defined as someone who has not shaved. Had the comment been intended to state the individual was clean shaven, the "Un" would have been left off.
As for the term "raghead" that seems a bit racist. You wouldn't happen to dislike Obama because he is black would you?
I hope you are not as careless interpreting what you read when reviewing political matters ;)
Well in order to continue our Fascist policies we must maintain a strong Army! Considering our biggest threat are unshaven boys wearing sandals, dresses and using outdated military surplus, we must maintain a huge Military with the latest technology to defeat such a threat!
This takes us back to "Right to Work" laws. In New York, there are no "Right to Work" laws and as such Unions are forced upon workers.
I'm Pro Union, but I am not Anti Right to Work either. The "strong arming" is the result of laws that create the environment for it to happen in the first place.
The problem with just about every major issue in this country is how the laws are written. Special interest on both sides fight to keep the issue away from the core problem. The American public then rarely ever understands what the core problem really is because both sides have clouded the argument. The media certainly doesn't do anything to clear up the issues. They are to busy keeping score on who is winning or loosing the debate, not informing people what the debate should be.
Solving the Union issue is as simple as making "Right to Work" a Federal law. What would be ironic about that scenario however is that Republicans who favor anti-union laws would then probably be opposed to a Federal law taking away the States right to make that decision.
Pretty funny if you ask me.
See how simple that is? We should be in Congress huh?
It really is that simple, finding common ground using intelligence.
There are nothing wrong with Unions, however they should not be allowed to dominate a market. Right to work State laws should be made into federal law.
This would keep corruption out of Unions in forced unionism States as they would need to compete in a free market. It also allows Unions to continue to form in an effort to fight unfair practices in various trades.
The concept works when common sense is applied. The core purpose of Unions was to keep employers honest and not make excessive profits off the backs of its workers.
Those who say Unions are bad.. are simply ignorant of the core problems. They shouldn't be fighting against Unions, they should be fighting for Right to Work laws. The problem is special interest wants the argument to be in favor of their agenda, so the argument is never really about the core issue.
I would bet that if you asked most people who have a negative view of unions what "right to work" laws were, they would have no clue what you were talking about.
That is the power of lobbying money when used against a lazy, stupid American population.
The free market works, if a Union can't compete.. it can't compete.
I think what is at issue here is the "right to work" States versus States in which there is forced unionism. That should be the debate, not that Unions are bad.
http://www.nrtw.org/rtws.htm
I do not believe Unions should hold a monopoly. I know first hand that Unions can thrive in right to work States.
So the argument all Unions are bad, therefore all should be shunned is at best a statement made by someone who has taken little effort or time to research the issue and is simply regurgitating what somoene else said.
In other words not thinking for themselves which seems to be a common trait among most Americans and why the lobbying and special interest groups hold so much sway. This goes for both the right and the left.
As I have said numerous times, our core problems in the U.S. is that we have a stupid population that cant think for themselves.
Your contradicting yourself. In a "right to work" State, if a Union carpenter is getting paid $50 an hour and a non-union shop is paying it's carpenters $20 an hour, how would the Union signatory shop stay in business?? If by paying the Union member $50 is driving the price up, then that must mean the non-union shop is charging $50 (matching the union shop) but only paying it's employee $20 and thus making more money for its owner. If that is the case, then it is the non-union shop driving the prices up. Union shops do not make near the profit margins a non-union shop generates. No, profit margins of owners is what drives prices up.
It is like the debate a public option would run insurance companies out of business. I don't see public universities running private ones out of business. I don't see the US Postal Service running Fedex and UPS out of business.
The argument is simply ridiculous. The people with the most to loose are the ones who profit the most. As such, they spend enormous amounts of money spreading this propaganda to those who don't know any better.
It happened because our Government de-regulated the securities industry, put Cox, a self proclaimed "de-regulator" in charge of the SEC and Americans as a whole live beyond their means by racking up large amounts of debt.
Yeah... I have a good handle on what happened.
We will simply have to agree to disagree on this topic. Most Unions I know of, especially construction trades, have hourly rates that are fair for the work produced. The average Union trade worker in the south makes on average about $60K a year. I'm not sure what planet you live on, but that is just middle class and most construction trades require skilled labor and are dangerous.
In fact, the U.S Government, for many years has used Union wage rates in the South as the "Prevailing Wage" for Government projects. This is mainly because many non-union companies hire construction workers, charge the Government standard industry rates, which is about $50 an hour for construction, then hire a few skilled people and an army of $10 workers.
I don't believe you personally have any experience in the construction industry, or experience with Unions based on your comments. What I have found is most people who have opinions like yours, are rarely ever speaking from first hand experience, but simply regurgitating something they heard from Rush Limbaugh, or some other conservative talking head.
I have already proven, Unions can compete in a "free market" environment such as Texas. That 100% shoots your theory out of the water that they raise prices for everyone. If that was the case, Union shops in Texas would not be able to compete with open shops. They do however, and the thrive. In most cases Union workers make $10 more an hour than the open shop worker.
Yes, some unions have to much leverage such as the UAW and Teamsters, however if your going to judge the entire sector based on a small minority of Unions then, well that is just ridiculous.
No, the problem is American greed, I have personally witnessed it first hand. My first job after leaving the Army was as an assistant project manager for LMC Corp. in Houston Texas. I was unable to return to plumbing due to a back injury. They would pay their workers some of the crappiest wages I had ever seen. They did mainly Government contracting, most for NASA and the USPS. Even though Government jobs have prevailing wages, they would pay their workers on average $10 an hour. They would even go down to Home Depot and pick up Juan/Jose when they needed extra hands. I remember a few times workers ere turned away at both NASA and a job for the Coast Guard because the workers who showed up didn't even have ID.
As the Project Manager, I managed the finances of the job. This company was raking in about 30%-40% profit margins, far above the industry standard of 16%. My job was mad difficult because the sub par labor they would hire would create problems on the job that I had to resolve. I pleaded with the owner to hire skilled labor to combat these issues.
Do you know what he said to me? "Why, I'm making damn good profit even with all the problems. I can find plenty of people to do the work for what I'm willing to pay."
That is what is wrong with this country.. not Unions.
I'm sure that is exactly what he wants to happen. Going to war with Iran would be what bankrupts our Country and further divides our citizens.
From a strategic point of view, If I was Iran I would be doing the same thing. The only way to beat the U.S. is financially choking it and bringing the polls down.
There are literally hundreds of Unions for hundreds of crafts. Only a handful dominate the spotlight and they dominate it because they are corrupt or pay wages that are unreasonable. They make a bad name for the rest of the Unions. Our media does more damage to this Country then our Politicians if you ask me.
Yes, the UAW is a joke, but they are just one of many Unions.
I see a lot of that these days haha.
The sheer mention of single payer health care causes some folks heads to implode. It is a system that should be given a chance to be debated. It works very well in some other countries. The problem is many on the right won't even sit down to the table to even consider it. That is really unfortunate.
Again, your not going to get a disagreement from me on that. I can recall numerous jokes among my Union brothers about how the Auto Unions were paying guys $50 an hour to sweep floors while we were only making $25 busting our asses competing against Jose and Juan.
I'm just saying, don't call ALL Unions bad.. because they are not. Some truly do help their members and the local community.
