This takes us back to "Right to Work" laws. In New York, there are no "Right to Work" laws and as such Unions are forced upon workers.

I'm Pro Union, but I am not Anti Right to Work either. The "strong arming" is the result of laws that create the environment for it to happen in the first place.

The problem with just about every major issue in this country is how the laws are written. Special interest on both sides fight to keep the issue away from the core problem. The American public then rarely ever understands what the core problem really is because both sides have clouded the argument. The media certainly doesn't do anything to clear up the issues. They are to busy keeping score on who is winning or loosing the debate, not informing people what the debate should be.

Solving the Union issue is as simple as making "Right to Work" a Federal law. What would be ironic about that scenario however is that Republicans who favor anti-union laws would then probably be opposed to a Federal law taking away the States right to make that decision.

Pretty funny if you ask me.
