Really?
Rate of Homeownership Higher Than Before Pandemic in All Regions

Go figure. You don't know much about women. Just wait.
Ii think hybrids make sense. And they've been around for 20 years, so probably most of the bugs have been worked out.
But not long ago, I did have a ride in a fully electric car, and liked it. I don't know what kind it was. Way cool dashboard display, though.
Good question.
LOLOLOLOLOLISSIMO!!! I wonder what he'll think it is...
Like GME the hater shorts want to demand market fundamentals but FOMO investing works too.
WTF?? Given that pretty much no one can buy it, how can anyone short it?
And why do you think shorts are "haters"? They're just the other side of your trade.
Awwwww, you just don't want a peaceful solution! Wouldn't you be happy if he went to visit the love letter writing Kim and stayed forever?
LOLOLOLOL!! But we WANT him to go away!! It really would be the best solution.
And you'd still be wrong.
Not a strategy I'd recommend.
Yes. And you'd think EVERYONE would know that by now.
I've always been interested; I just didn't post on the subject, for the most part. Yes, the Tea Party started under Dubya, and that led to MAGA ideas.
Then what are you saying?
... he may be a flight risk.
If only...
Not 15 years. Trumpty hasn't been in politics for that long. And I've only (virtually) known him for eight or nine years. Before then, I rarely posted about politics.
It was probably that stupid turtle.
Oh. There's a LOT more there, but since I haven't read it, I don't know if it's useful.
No. The company is doing a Reg A offering, for which it needs to file modified reports to the SEC. That does not, however, make the company an SEC registrant. Reg A stock is exempt from registration.

What was yours and did you even try?
I think his was BASE jumping. Which he did do.
I guess so. He isn't very bright.
lol, we just got under our desks. It was then that many of us learned that grownups may believe some really dumb stuff.
That poll is from MARCH 29, 2023. WTF is wrong with you?
Damn, I didn't even notice. He has a habit of posting out-of-date stuff. I don't think he actually reads any of it. Just the headlines.
Did you see that when Trump was told the seas were rising, he said, "Good! That means more beachfront property!"?
I am not making that up.
No university should accept a kid who can't read but can score touchdowns on Saturday. They have destroyed the whole idea of higher education..
And naturally I have another story. One day, the chairman of the BC art history department asked me to help her out. She'd given a student on the football team a D. And he'd gone to the dean to complain. She talked to the dean, who suggested having the kid retake his exam. And so she did, and the result was no better. In fact, his answers for the second test--which I take it was the same exam--were pretty much the same as those he first gave.
So I talked to him. He was a nice black kid. He was completely bewildered. He thought taking the exam for a second time was all he needed to do. It has apparently not occurred to him that he was supposed to get the answers right. Or at least to get more of the answers right. I tried to explain that to him.
That happened at the end of a semester, and I never learned what the outcome was. But I felt sorry for the kid. He was being exploited. Obviously he took other courses, and I doubt he did any better in them. But he was just getting passed through. Not getting any kind of education.
I'm pretty sure he didn't make the pros either. So what did he end up doing? Unlike Bruce, he wasn't white and middle class.
Well, that's what Cohen says. Yes, he is or was as big a liar as Trump, but that doesn't mean what he said is wrong.
I do not understand why you think his reimbursement payments for what he paid Stormy had anything to do with termination.
and Ill toss in worthless courses that add admin, teachers and infrastructure....
Once again, you are wrong. First of all, you probably consider studying the humanities to be "useless" and "worthless". If so, you are badly wrong. I believe there was some discussion here about puppetry courses. I think they have a good deal of value, if the idea is to study their history, content, and evolution.
But if you mean over-specialized courses designed to teach students to DO stuff--as, for example, a course in how to practice witchcraft--I personally think they're worthless, but you need to remember that they ATTRACT STUDENTS. And that brings in some money.
Termination agreements usually specify that the employee is being terminated.
In what you quote, Cohen is being REIMBURSED for what he paid to Stormy.
Nasty. But Florida has always had a lot of storms. I think more thunderstorms than any other state in the union.
The Republicans aren't going to understand what climate change is doing until it's too late. Worse yet: Though this summer is supposed to be extremely hot once again, the weather people are saying the next few years may be somewhat better.
And of course that'll make a lot of people think once again that they can postpone doing anything about it.
The WSJ seems to believe it, and I wouldn't call the WSJ "obscure".
In addition, this is exactly what happened in 2022. Back then, "many people" said the same thing you do: that abortion wasn't really a top issue.
Permit me to remind you that those people were proved to be dead wrong.
The economy is just about always in first place. And let me also remind you that except in the case of abortions that are medical necessities, women get them because they're ECONOMIC necessities. Most women who choose to get abortions are MARRIED with children; they and their husbands can't afford another child. It's often an economic necessity for single women, too.
That number seems more than a bit iffy. This is the source:

Trump's role in many of the companies he's involved in is just branding. They pay him to use his name. That doesn't give the Trump Organization any employees.
And frankly, for a company, revenue of $450 million is peanuts.
You might find this of interest as well:

Obviously. As I said, I believe Pakistani or Indian.
Well hey, he got a B on that exam.
There actually have been a few mini-series about climate chance and the seas, mostly on NatGeo and PBS.
What termination agreement?
Good question. Cohen worked for Trump until May 2018.

Hap is just making shit up to defend what he so very badly wants to believe.
Nope, 70 million aren't stupid,,,,,they think government and dems have gone stupid for far too long...
Okay. Vote for Trump. Watch him give yet more gigantic tax breaks to the one percent, as the tax breaks the middle class have enjoyed expire.
As I said: stupid.
You don't actually pay attention to what other people say here, do you?
This is from a Florida publication. A red state publication:
UNF national poll shows abortion listed as third most important issue for voters in November

WSJ poll shows the issue is make-or-break for many of the swing-state voters who decided the last two elections and could again in 2024

The conservative WSJ, as you see.
You're apparently unaware of what's been happening as a result of the Dobbs decision. Pregnant women are dying, or almost dying, in Texas and other states. Ten-year-old victims of incest are being denied abortions. And then there's the IVF issue.
And of course ordinary women who'd felt for their entire lives that if they needed an abortion, they could get one, are now left out in the cold in most red states.
You appear to be oblivious of the fury of those women. And even of women past childbearing age, because ALL of these new laws are anti-women. An attempt to control them and curtail their independence. If some of them die, the people in those states genuinely don't give a shit.
Watch.
True, those New York accents are difficult to understand at times. I'd say it was a Bronx accent.
Is that a joke? I'd say it's an Indian or Pakistani accent.
No they aren't and no they don't believe all his bs, not even close, fair to say many don't like him, they just consider him better than the alternative..
Okay, then they're stupid.
He is the anti establishment vote...
That is ridiculous. He's already been president. He IS the establishment. And he believes the establishment exists to serve him, and him only. He does not give a shit about anyone else. Literally. Not even Melania, Barron, or Ivanka.
Or YOU.
That's amazing. And in the end, a lot of kids get cheated.
Back in the '70s, I taught part time at Boston College for a few years. There weren't many art history majors, and department chair didn't make much of an effort to push for new ones, so most of my students were kids fulfilling their distribution requirements.
As midterms approached, I told the class they could study with the help of slides; the slide room would be open specific late afternoons for about two weeks leading up to the exam. (Not the best way to do things, but it was how they did it.) One of the guys, Bruce, approached me after class. He asked me to come in and open the slide room on a Saturday or Sunday; he couldn't come in the afternoons because he had baseball practice.
I pointed out that he'd cut my class a number of times. Surely he could cut practice once or twice. He was astonished by this suggestion. I told him to have a talk with his coach. I also pointed out that while I realized he wanted to be a professional baseball player, and that I wished him the best, making the pros is very difficult. So while he was in college, he'd do well to learn something.
He wasn't an idiot, so things probably worked out for him, though he never became a pro ball player. Others weren't, and still aren't, so lucky.
Well done article and poll on issues
I beg your pardon? I don't see abortion, or women's rights generally, on that list. And you'd better believe they will be VERY VERY important issues this November.
The article was mostly about how the judgment against Trump was received.
Unfortunately, the Trumpkins aren't nearly as worried about democracy as they should be.
when auditing large companies there was, usually, a check signing machine with the signature of a head honcho -- not always, but often
Are you in the habit of just making things up without checking to see whether they're true?
And you should know that The Trump Organization is not a "large company". It is a smallish family business. Trump has never been close to being one of the top New York City real estate developers.
Ahhh, I see.
